2 Chapter 2 Childhood (Ages 1-4)

Tsuneo, though is just being called Neo as a nickname, was sitting practicing walking while holding his mother's hands. Neo had just turned 9 months old and was tired of crawling and wanted to advance to a better form of transportation.

His mother, previously a hero, decided to retire in order to take care of Neo. His mother's quirk was a telekinesis quirk, which was handy to her in many ways, especially when taking care of Neo. Actually, Neo's dad is also a hero, his quirk is called Water-Manipulation. He is able to control water at will, he is even able to turn water to ice and ice to water.

When deciding who would retire to take care of Neo, Katsumi decided to retire because it would be easier for her than for Shou. You may think that she is sad that she had to retire, but it's the opposite. She is overly happy that she gets to spend all her time with the adorable and little Neo.

'Gosh, I can't believe that walking is so hard, why?!?!'

After multiple trials and errors, he got the hang of it and started to walk around on his own, although he was hugging the wall.

TIMESKIP - 1 Year and 3 months.

Neo is now 3 years old and is walking and talking with ease. His personality was very monotonic, showing little emotion unless you were talking about heroes and quirks. Then, his eyes would sparkle and he would talk for hours on end about the subject.

He was humming a tune while drawing a superhero costume for himself, as he wanted to be one when he got older. He sketched out many designs, but he chose the most minimalistic one. Most wouldn't even call it a costume but a comfy outfit.

The design held a navy blue sweatshirt and flexible light blue jeans, beneath each of the clothing items were kevlar bodysuits to block punches and projectiles. Last but not least was wireless headphones, because he liked music.

'Man, I can't wait until I awaken my quirk, Ima be so strong after that!'

He continued to do final designs on his outfits and started on his hero name. He came up with many options but eventually came up with a final outcome

TIMESKIP - 1 Year

Neo was now four years old, it was seemingly an ordinary day, Neo was playing with his mom while his dad was at work when he started to feel a pain in his chest.

"Mom, m-my chest hurts." The pain only got worse and worse until he finally lost consciousness.

"NEO!" Katsumi yelled catching him.

She ran the fastest she ever has and got into the car driving as fast as she can straight towards the hospital. She got him checked in and the doctors began their diagnosis.

"Ma'am, it seems that he has just awakened his quirk, but considering the amount of pain and even the fact that he lost consciousness, means that he probably has a strong quirk." The doctor reassured.

"Ok thank you, when will he wake up?" Katsumi asked

"In about 2-3 hours give it or take."

"Ok..." Katsumi quickly pulled out her phone and called Shou and explained to him what happened to Neo.

Shou rushed over to the hospital and sat next to Katsumi in front of Neos hospital bed.

*A couple of hours later.

Neo was waking up and he opened his eyes. All he saw was his mother and father.

"Mom, Dad? What happened?" Neo was full of questions.

"Baby, it seems that you awakened your quirk!"

"Really?!?! Can I try it?!" Neo was ecstatic, of course, he already knew what it was but he didn't tell them.

"You can use it once we go to a quirk assessment center. There we can figure out what it is." Shou said.

"Ok, dad..."

'I need to create a quirk, one that is strong and will divert attention away from my actual quirk, I can't tell anyone about it. At least not yet'
