"So what do we do now?" Akira asked, standing opposite Aizawa.

"Let's go to Nezu, he probably has an idea. In fact, I'm pretty sure he planned all of this."

"He planned you to expel the entire class?" Akira asked, shocked.

Aizawa huffed, ignoring the question, "Let's go now, before Nezu has to deal with a swarm of angry parents wondering why I expelled their kids."

They arrived at the office and Aizawa explained the situation. Throughout the whole ordeal, Nezu had a calm look on his face, and it was only when Aizawa finished did he burst out laughing.

"HAHAHAHAHA, that is funny!"

"No it's not. You gave me a class full of idiots not worthy of being heros? Why did you give me a class full of defects?"

Nezu raised a brow, "Would you believe me if I said it was a coincidence?"

"No."

"You are right," Nezu replied, "I planned it, and it's all because of you." He pointed towards Akira.

"Me?"

"Yes you. The reason I left you alone in a class full of ingrates with Aizawa as your teacher is because I knew Aizawa would expel all of them except you. I needed you alone, and the reason why is because I wanted to raise you as the next symbol of peace."

Akira looked completely shocked, his mouth opening and closing like a fish. Even Aizawa looked surprised.

Nezu continued, "As I have said, you have a good heart Akira, and I can see you enjoy saving people. That is the essence of a hero. You have a powerful quirk and equal amounts of determination to go along with it, meaning you could quite possibly rival All Might one day, but instead of punching through problems, you would be doing it using the versatility of your quirk and your thinking."

"All Might will retire soon, his quirk is super strength, not immortality. Time waits for no man, and it is slowly catching up on him. There will be a time, most likely in the next few years, where all might will have to put down the mantle, and someone must be there to pick it back up, otherwise Japan would fall into ruin."

"This is quite a serious matter you are talking about." Aizawa said.

"And a serious matter it is. I didn't just plan this on a whim, a lot of thought has gone into this. I believe this is the best path for the future. And do you know why I'm telling you this Akira? Because I trust you. But for this to work, you need to be onboard. So I'll ask you once , and only once, are you prepared to become the next symbol of peace?"

The previous confusion that was on Akira's face, and was replaced with a look of determination. He nodded without hesitation.

"This is a big decision, are you sure you are sure Akira?" Aizawa asked.

Akira nodded, "I'm sure. I know fully well what this entails."

"Good!" Nezu clapped his paws together, "Now, since Aizawa now only has you to teach, he can deviate his time towards training you."

Aizawa glared at him, "Hey, I didn't sign up for this."

"On your contract you did, so you will have to do as I say. You will also be training with me. I promise you the next symbol of peace won't be a big brute like that oaf."

Akira sweatdropped, for some reason he felt like the most daunting challenge would be his lessons with Nezu. The look Aizawa gave him only furthered his theory.

"Well," Nezu looked at his clock, "Looks like it's just in time for our first lesson!"

Aizawa grumbled, "I'm going to sleep…" He shuffled out of the room, giving Akira one last look of sympathy towards Akira.

"Well, let's get started shall we?"

===

Akira groaned, covering his ears with his pillow. He finally thought he had some peace and wuiet and could go back to sleep, but the noise of the loud horn blared in his ears once again, removing any possibility of falling back to sleep.

"Dammit!" He shot up from his bed, all the tiredness leaving his body as he stormed towards the door where he saw the source of his distress poking out of his glove box, a horn. He slammed open the door, his shock diminishing slightly when he saw Aizawa standing there.

"What!?" Akira shouted at him, resisting the urge to punch him in his sleep deprived face.

"Get up, we're training."

Akira ground his teeth so hard he thought they were going to turn into dust, "It's 6am…school starts at 9am, yes? Are you using a different timezone? Are you on drugs?"

"Remember, I'm not training you just as a student of UA, but also as the next symbol of peace."

"So?" Akira didn't see his point, whether due to the fact he was so angry, or he had just woken up.

"You think crime stops when you're asleep? You need to be at the top of your game at all times. What if a villain attacks Japan during the night, and only you can stop him? Will you just sleep through the problem?"

Akira sighed, wiping the crust out of his eyes. He had to admit, he did have a point.

"Give me 5 minutes to get dressed."

"I'll give you 2. Heroes are supposed to sleep in their costumes in case of situations like this. Also, every second you're late, it's an extra minute of training, clocks ticking."

Akira launched a flurry of curses as he ran into the house and proceeded to get dressed. He arrived at the front door 2 minutes later, holding a bottle of water and dressed in his sportswear.

Aizawa looked at his watch, "2 minutes and 12 seconds," He tutted, "That's an extra 12 minutes of training."

Akira glared at him ,but decided to not say anything. He shouldn't do anything to try and get on the bad side of his trainer, his life was practically in his hands.

"Ok let's start, we're going for a run." Aizawa said.

"How long are we running for?"

Aizawa shrugged, "Until I say we stop." He jumped to the ledge of the top floor, using his scarf as leverage to slow his fall and allow him to land on the ground safely.

Akira was about to follow, his lips opening, but Aizawa stopped him, "Oh, and something I forgot to mention, no quirk usage," His eyes flared red, "I'm watching."
