35 Meeting

HELLO! I AM BACK! It has been quite a while, I hope you guys have been doing alright. From now on I should be able to pump out a solid 4/5 chapters a week of this story until the end, so no more hiatus'. As usual, 20 advanced chapters available on patre0n.com/xlucqs.

I know before I left I mentioned One Piece and in addition I also have my GoT story, but a thing called House of the Dragon happened. I'm completely obsessed with it, so much that I made a fic for it. I've already made good progress on it, so look forward to that after I complete New Order. Anyway, back to the story! Hope you all enjoy!

If you guys have any questions, then feel free to ask them and I will try and answer!

============

The team that All Might had managed to gather in such a short amount of time was impressive, even for someone with his standing. Although the selection of heroes was small, it certainly made up for it in the vast skill and experience the chosen pro heroes had.

Some things apparently never changed despite the different circumstances, as even without Nighteye's presence, pro heroes such as Eraserhead and Ryuko were present. Aside from that, there were other pro heroes that Akira had recognised, either through his knowledge of the manga or through the past 7 years of his new life.

The most notable ones in this category were Crust and Yoroi Musha, the number 6 and number 9 hero respectively.

Akira paid no attention to the pairs of eyes that stared at him with a variety of looks as he entered the room. He silently made his way across the room and took a free seat next to Aizawa.

"So, you were invited too?" Akira asked, deciding to make some small talk.

"Well, Nezu advised me to go. He told me about your situation, and thought it would be good to have me there in case there is someone with a tricky quirk."

Akira nodded in agreement. "Makes sense. Although Nezu advised you to come, you made that choice yourself, thank you for coming." He said sincerely.

"No problem." Aizawa replied evenly, but there was just a hint of a smile on his face.

After a couple of minutes All Might walked in. His presence spoke for itself, as the low chatter completely disappeared before he even made his first step in the room. As he strode towards the front seat, every step he took commanded power and respect.

Akira and All Might made eye contact for a brief moment. All Might gave him a nod. The man took a seat at the front and cleared his throat before speaking, "Thank you all for coming on such short notice. I explained to you some vague details in the message I sent to you, but I suppose before we do anything it would be appropriate for me to go into more detail."

And go into details All Might did. From all the way to his and Akira's encounter with Eri and Overhaul, all the way to his suspicions and research he did, to even the location he had gotten on Akira's behalf.

"I see why you called us here then, this is urgent. A little girl being held captive and abused by the Yakuza, for what reason we don't know, but we must save her. " Yoroi Musha spoke up.

Crust nodded. "Especially since they are most likely the Yakuza. Who knows what else they are doing!"

As more of the heroes started agreeing and voicing their opinions, Akira silently nodded to himself. 'I see, All Might brought people like him on this raid.' He glanced around the room, 'These people truly care about being a hero and saving people, in this case Eri.'

He smiled to himself. It was nice to know there were other heroes with the same heart as All Might, and ones this strong. Since they wouldn't have time to research their enemy, they would be going in blind. To minimise most of the risk, All Might picked strong heroes with a variety of quirks to cover many different situations.

"We will be going in blind essentially, but that's why i've picked you guys specifically. Each of you here is a master at your craft with heart's of gold. I truly know that I can trust each of you."

A few more details were went over and discussed. After a couple of hours the meeting was dismissed, with everything set up for tomorrow morning. Akira was genuinely surprised that All Might had managed to sort out things so fast, but he supposed if you wanted to save Eri, you would work that much harder.

When he got home, Akira turned the sheets in early. He had a long day ahead of him tomorrow.

(the next day)

The otherwise dim grey room was very much the opposite, instead being filled with life and bursting with colours due to the variety of heroes and their costumes spread across the room. Bright colours flashed past Akira's eyes as he observed each of their hero costumes and their little intricacies that made them special.

The costume of a hero was very much a personal thing for them, like a person's car or house. It was the thing you wore day in day out, the very thing that helped you save people and fight crime and survive to see the next day. Although these costumes could be torn to shreds and just as easily be replaced, the connection was still there.

Akira had even asked All Might about his own costume, and how exactly it helped him. All Might just laughed and replied with a joke, "It helps keep my muscles from bulging out, so it's made of some really strong material."

Akira smiled at the memory. He remembered a couple of hours later when they sat down for lunch and All Might told him his serious answer, "Due to how strong I am, my suit doesn't offer much help to me. It only consists of some thin but strong material with some resistances against things like temperature or tears. But, when I originally designed the suit before going to UA. I wanted my suit to help me in combat, but to also be a simple and unique and easily recognizable costume. When people saw the costume, I wanted them to feel safe and protected. I wanted them to associate myself with my suit. And it seems they did, my merch sales are through the roof! HAHAHAHA!"

He shook himself out of the flashback as All Might began a very emotional and motivational speech from the front of the room, invigorating the hearts of all heroes alike. Was the number one hero of each country always required to give good speeches? Akira really needed to practice that.

After that they left, and it wasn't long before they started covertly making their way to the area that Akira had tracked. Of course, All Might wasn't stupid, the area had been scouted in advance multiple times and although from the outside it looked like any normal house, everyone knew the truth. It was located in the suburbs, a very quiet area with lots of elderly people, a perfect place to blend in.

It was because of this they needed to evacuate the area in advance to avoid any civilian casualties. This of course came with its own fair share of problems, the main one being the fact that the Yakuza may or may not have found out…the answer was soon given.

*BOOM*

The front gates were demolished under a tremendous force, turning the concrete to dust as a large and bulky man in a mask burst forward, roaring like a titan. Normal law enforcement were sent flying back from the impact, some of them even flying into the air.

"YOU THINK WE WOULDN'T NOTICE YOU?" The man roared.

As Akira controlled the gravity in the area to make sure the police officers landed safely, most of the other heroes stayed still in their places, trying to figure out what the next best move was.

The man swung his massive hulking fist down to a few nearby officers. A massive bang resounded in the air as his fist impacted against a shield.

Crust stood there in all his glory, gritting his teeth in pain as he pushed the shield connected to his arm with all his strength, trying to nullify the giant's attack. It was obvious he was struggling, but the longer he stood there the easier and easier it seemed to get for him.

Akira narrowed his eyes, noticing that Crust's shield was constantly getting bigger and then condensing down to a smaller size.

Using his free hand, Crust formed a circular shield on his hand and detached it from himself. Taking the shield, he threw it with a surprising amount of force at the large man. The person in question tried to dodge, but the shield rotated and turned like a frisbee to cut the side of his face.

Just before Crust could form another shield, a bright flash of red and blue which missed most people's eyes burst forward. Before some of the pro heroes could even react, the man which caused Crust so much trouble was on the floor, unconscious.

All Might was already gesturing for them to advance as most of them were recovering from the shock.

Like many of the other heroes, Akira shook himself out of his stupor, dashing past the destroyed gates which they used as an entrance. They were attacked by a small group of thugs who tried to use their quirks to stop the heroes, but Yoroi Musha made quick work of them as he drew his sword from his scabbard.

He dashed past each of the thugs, dodging their futile attempts to stop him, and before they knew it, they were on the ground unconscious, courtesy of a small square bruise on the back of their neck.

"Hmph. These punks are lucky I only used the hilt of my sword." He commented with disdain. As the group of ragtag heroes made their way to the entrance, more thugs slowly started appearing in waves upon waves, bringing chaos to the current situation.

Akira pinned a crowd of them down with his gravity, while All Might sent huge blasts of wind with the power of his fists to knock them unconscious. Aizawa was doing his best, wrapping up multiple villains in the crowd with glowing red eyes and taking care of them with precise, quick strikes.

Despite this, they seemed to keep multiplying. "Go forward!" One of the hero's shouted, keeping back a handful of the gangsters with his quirk.

"Save the girl! We will hold them off!" Another one shouted.

Akira, All Might, Aizawa, Crust, Yoroi Musha and Aizawa were the only ones who had managed to push past the large crowd of enemies and make their way into the inside of the building.

"So, where do we go now?" Crust asked as they ran through the halls. He looked towards All Might, who looked towards Akira.

"Akira?" He questioned.

"Mhm," Akira nodded. "Follow me, I know exactly how to get in." Akira advanced further into the building, guiding his way through the maze-like house with a precise ease. He suddenly stopped in the middle of a hallway, all of the other heroes stopping with him.

"There's a hidden passage here." Akira said. He lifted the vase which had a decorational tree on it and pressed down on the floorboard. Not even a moment later the wall behind it opened up, revealing a secret passage.

The real raid started now.
