3 Chapter 3: Cremation & Exam

"Status!" Trevor said excitedly. Trevor was excited to see what his quirk would be in this life.
Soon after, he said 'Status". Then, a translucent black screen appeared in front of him. It showed him his status. It showed his name, condition, race, and quirk.
"Oh? How lucky!" Trevor said excitedly.
*1st POV
I got Dabi's quirk. It's ironic because I was thinking about fire-related quirks earlier. Interestingly enough, unlike Dabi's quirk, my quirk was named 'Cremation.' It's interesting because that's what 'Dabi' means. So, technically, my quirk has Dabi's fake name.
It's incredible. Why, you may ask? The answer is that I can 'borrow' any moves that all fire-related quirk users use in MHA. That includes Shoto Todoroki, Endeavor, Dabi, Burnin, Midoriya's Father, and even potentially Bakugo.
Of course, it will only occur if I use my quirk correctly.
It's only hypothetical for now. It will soon be a theory. Then, whether I can do it or not will lead me to my answer.
Ah! Now that I think about it, there was also a shop. I'm curious, what can I buy from the shop? There's only one way to find out, I guess.
"Shop," I said lightly, not trying to have people think I was a Chuunibyu or insane.
Instantly after I said 'Shop,' a long translucent black screen appeared before my eyes. There were only two categories for the present, Items and Quirks.

There are so many interesting quirks. There are also some that I can specifically label under 'Cremation.' Some quirks can indirectly make the weaknesses of my quirk non-existent. I should probably look at my quirk itself. It's best to get as much info about 'Cremation.'
[Cremation grants the ability to generate and control highly destructive blue flames from the user's body. Eventually, the user can have well-developed control of the flames created by the quirk.
The user can also project the flames away from the user and in large amounts. Furthermore, the user's flames become even more powerful when strong emotions are felt.
However, the user's body has an average tolerance for the flames, and the user will get burned if the quirk is used for prolonged periods. It can also be incredibly fatal if the user increases the temperature to its highest.]
Everything's the same as Dabi's except for a few details. I have an average tolerance for my flames. While Dabi has a low tolerance because of the quirk and regular genes from his mother.
Amazing!
I don't have to worry about my body becoming like Dabi's.
Now that I think about it. I won't be able to see my sisters or my mother from my previous life ever again, most likely. But they wouldn't want me to dwell on that. They would want me to live my life to the fullest, Whether or not it's in my previous or current life.
But before I could continue thinking of them, I yawned.
*Yawn*
I'm getting tired. So much has happened today; I got reincarnated, my grandmother and an angry British man yelled at me, and I figured out my interesting quirk. I should think about my plans heading forward in the morning.
So, I climbed into my bed and shortly after fell asleep.

The sun began to rise, and the light radiated through the curtains of Trevor's room.
*1st POV
"WAKE UP TREVOR!!!" Kiyoko's voice boomed through the apartment.
Ah fuck! Goddamn!! HOLY SHIT!!! God, that was so fucking loud! That scared the absolute shit out of me!
Well, I guess it's morning now. According to the memories, Trevor graduated from Ashford Junior High a few days earlier. That would mean Midoriya has already been informed about OFA by All Might and has graduated from Aldera Junior High.
I only have eight months to train my quirk and body. That's not very long, but just enough to get some ranking among the rest of the 1-A students.
And so, just like that, my long and grueling 8-month training began.
*Time Skip*
-8 Month's Later-
I just recently turned 15 because my birthday passed a few days ago.
After training for eight long and grueling months, I have a fit body. I do have a question. Why do I still have a feminine-ish look? But whatever.
Today's a brand new day, an important one. It's time for the Yuuei Entrance Exam.
I have trained a lot over these eight months. I've learned a lot from my quirk specifically. I've learned Todoroki's "Wall of Flames." But I had a major realization, I can also use fire-related powers from other animes and cartoons. I can mimic fire from Fire-Force, Fairy Tail, Jujutsu Kaisen, Pokemon, and a lot more.
But now's not the time to continue thinking. I have to catch a train heading to Musutafu. So I left my room, only to be greeted by my older sister and grandma.
"Trevor, good luck," My grandmother told me, her voice filled with love.
"Trevor, you'll pass the Yuuei Written Exam, but be careful. The Practical Exam won't be easy." My older sister told me, her voice tinged with concern.
Hana was an alumnus of Yuuei. I don't know where she started working after graduating or what her quirk was. My grandmother and Hana kept it a secret from me. All they said was either 'it wasn't important' or 'it's a secret.' It was very annoying if you ask me, but everyone has their secrets, and there's no need to press for information.
"Of course, I will oba-chan, onee-chan. I'm Mom and Dad's son. I always do well. I have to for them." I replied to Hana and my grandmother. I had a quest a while back where I could unlock 2/8 of my memories. I got more details on why I lived with Hana and my Grandmother.
My Mom and Dad got into an accident, and the original Trevor was with them when it happened. There was a Villain attack after they left the quirk doctor's office with the original Trevor when he was only four. I can't remember the specific details of that event, but what I do know is that it left Trevor's Mom and Dad comatose. They've been like that for around ten years, eleven now.
But I can't remember any memories from when Trevor was in Elementary and Secondary school. All I know was that there was some incident at the Secondary school too. A kid was attacked by his classmate and was left bloody and near the verge of death.
But I should probably stop getting lost in my thoughts. I've arrived in Musutafu. All I have to do now is head to Yuuei.
Soon after, I arrived in front of Yuuei. Yuuei High School is an academy that boasts the best heroics education in Japan. It sits atop a forested hill that overlooks Musutafu.
It is one of the primary settings in which the story of My Hero Academia takes place.
I stood in front of Yuuei. I never realized just how massive it was in the anime.
Some feet ahead of me, a green-haired boy was walking on the pavement towards the main building. The boy had tripped and started to fall while making a weird face. I realized that the boy was Izuku Midoriya, the main character of My Hero Academia. Though I wasn't the biggest fan of him, I had to admit that he deserved to be a hero with his heroic personality.
But before Midoriya had fallen to the ground a brown-haired girl had used her quirk to make the boy not fall. That girl was Ochaco Uraraka.
I did not plan to associate with either of them till everyone was in the 1-A Classroom. So, I walked passed them while they talked to each other. But before I fully passed them, I said something.
"Hey Kid, you should be more careful. Especially if you're going to be a hero. Hero's don't trip when they walk or run to go and help civilians. Fix that problem." I told the green-haired boy sternly.
Now you may be wondering why I said anything at all. Well, I needed both Uraraka and Midoriya to have an impression of me. Not because I wanted to look cool in one of the earliest moments of the anime, I would never. My reasoning was very logical.
So, as I walked away, both Midoriya and Uraraka could only stare at me speechless. But it didn't take long for Midoriya to apologize, not that I knew. I was long gone. I was already entering the building to search for the room where everyone would be separated to take the Written Exam.
Soon enough, I arrived at the testing site for the written exam.
It didn't take long for me to finish the written exam.
The exam mainly contained questions about hero scenarios and the basics of everything you would learn in your last year of secondary school.
The hero scenarios were easy since all I had to do was not give my personal opinion and answer with what a hero legally has to do.
The other questions about subjects like math, science, history, and the like were easy.
History was not as easy since I had lived in America previously, and I currently live in Japan, and I've had to learn MHA's Japanese history. Let me tell you, it wasn't easy at all.
But that's beside the point, I'm one hundred percent sure I passed the Written Exam. But now, all I have to do now is wait.

Ha! Cliffhanger strikes again.
I'm not sure if people are still reading my story since I don't have a lot of chapters out yet.
But, I still want criticism since I'm still in the process of writing these. This chapter is longer, and hopefully, the quality of each chapter will only go up and up.
Please give me stones or something. I'm desperate or sum. Idk wtf they do, but people in other stories ask for them, and I'll do the same. But I'm still gonna update either way, but I'll take my time writing.
But now, onto why this chapter was late. I had around 600 words written down on Tuesday. But my friend invited me to play Fortnite, so I joined him, we got one of my female friends on, and she invited one of her friends to get on as well.
After a couple of games of Fortnite, they decided to play Valorant and I decided to get the game. Was it fun, kinda. But I had no idea wtf I was doing, so yeah.
After that, my friend decided to pretty much log off and join a call to just say things randomly. So my friend, her friend, and I just started watching things on YouTube through my friend's live screen on Discord. We did that till 12 am EST / 9 pm PST.
So I then went to sleep. Now Wednesday, I went to school as normal and when I got home I was exhausted and fell asleep pretty much as soon as I got home. When I woke up it was already late as hell so I just read other fanfics and watched YouTube and a movie.
Now as for Thursday, I was just lazy if I'm being honest. Throughout these days I was always checking my story to see if there was anyone asking questions but not a single thing. <Insert Sob Emoji>
Comment something like 'good job' or give some criticism. I need it and it gives me some type of feedback.
Something I want to mention is that I will be doing my Review of my story when I get to around Twenty Chapters.
