Alex charged for a change and he was 50% faster, throwing Rumi for a loop.

She gave a hasty punch at him and he grabbed her arm.

Rumi winced at his claws that were harder than steel, digging into her limb.

Alex then bared his teeth. "Crazy motherfucker!" Rumi was shocked as Alex chomped on her arm like a savage beast.

"Luna rush!" Rumi pried him off as she gave a series of powerful kicks.

Alex got beaten to the ground and his transformation got undone, receiving too much damage.

He's playing the waiting game. Exactly how hunters do it.

They develop their strength slowly. But it suddenly snow balls and in the endgame, they basically turn into demigods that can solo mountain sized monsters that would flatten cities in minutes.

"Go on, I'll wait." Rumi snorted as she changed her target to her favorite punching bag, Kirishima.
