10 Here we go

"So... This is it, huh?"

Rin muttered in front of the UA gate. Ayato stood right next to her, staring impassively at the building, or at least, that's what she thought since he still had that sleeping mask on his eyes.

But inside the young man's mind, a single thought was present.

Bored.

He was immensely bored.

"Mhmm."

The red-haired girl deadpanned at him from beside him and he could feel her eyes rolling inside her eye sockets.

"You're bored out of your mind, aren't you?"

Not even bothering to put up a facade, he nodded.

"Honestly, considering that I will have some hero classes, I might not be home right after the lessons... The food will be cold."

She smiled despite herself, chuckling silently at his words, here he was, about to become a hero-in-training, and he was worried about the temperature of the food she makes.

"Nevermind food, we have tests to take."

She walked forward ignoring the snort he let out at her words as if offended.

"Get out of the way, Deku!"

Their attention was grabbed by a shout from behind them. Looking over, she saw a green-haired boy jumping out of his skin and waving his hands around while a spiky-haired blond walked past him, looking grumpy.

"...Hmm, maybe it won't be so bad after all."

Noticing his smirk, she quirked a questioning eyebrow at him, as if feeling her gaze on him, he chuckled.

"Imagine how funny it will be to piss him off."

Honestly, no wonder he had no friends other than her.

___

Ayato stared at the idiotic questions on the paper.

What did they mean by "What would you do in a hostage situation?". What about the specifics? How many hostages? How many hostiles?

This question had so many possible answers where so many things could go wrong it was maddening.

Maybe this shit wasn't for him.

In another room, Rin was answering the questions without any problem, absently thinking if the test should be so easy.

For some reason, Ayato felt slightly pissed off but dismissed it.

The test lasted for two hours in which he answered every question in the best way he could and tried to cover the most common situations rather than trying to explain every detail and possible fluctuation in his plans.

Now, he just had to destroy some Robots, as that one loud guy said in the introduction, there were four, one, two, three, and zero pointers.

Taking off his shirt he bent down to tighten the laces on his boots. The black pants and black boots were the only things he would wear for this test.

Ignoring the chattering of the changing room behind him, he walked out, down the hall, and to the bus that was supposed to drive the potential students to their destination.

He absently wondered what kind of funding and amount of land the school must have to get busses just for the kids to get there on time. He reached inside the designated bus only to see it empty. Smiling at the wide selection of seats he picked one in the back and sat there for a few minutes, waiting for the other kids to reach the transport.

It didn't take long for the students to pour out of the building and into the busses and all the seats were occupied.

Next to him, sat a blonde boy with his hair combed to the side and eyes so full of greed it could rival goblins... Granted, he hadn't seen any goblins but that was beside the point.

"Hello, my name is Neito Monoma, nice to meet you."

The kid extended a hand for a handshake but the greed in his eyes only intensified. His instincts screamed at him to be wary and they have never been wrong before.

Ayato did the only thing he could and shook his hand. His hand, however, was covered in a thin layer of solidified air, preventing them from actually making any contact.

When the blond-haired boy's eyes grew wide in surprise, Ayato covered his whole body with a protective layer. His quirk must be something concerning connected with skin contact.

"Ayato Iwasaki, pleasure is all mine."

No. No, it wasn't.

His surprised look disappeared and was replaced by a pleasant look that was so fake he wanted to slice the imbecile in half before he tried anything.

This kid was a schemer, that much was clear.

Now, he could not only piss off the spiky-haired blonde, he could piss off this one too. No, he had a feeling that this kid would be pissed off at the tiniest thing, but at least he would be good entertainment.

Looking around, I could see a few... interesting people. "Interesting" was a nice way to put it, one guy had squares for eyes, one had a triangle for a head and one had inflating hands that she was talking about with someone else.

"Hey, do you think the robots will be hard to destroy?"

Judging from the presence of his hand on the barrier around his body, the bastard tried to touch his shoulder.

...Should he just cut the little shit's hand off? Or would that be too extreme? Seriously, two hours of being apart and he was so irritable without Rin.

Was her second quirk an annoyance dampener or was this guy trying to touch him that annoying... No, it was weird, he would rather him stop touching him, after all.
