Scrolling through the internet, Ayato had a website about laws and heroes opened. The heroes had many restrictions but they also had some privileges.

If a villain got killed in combat, the hero will not be punished unless it was clear that the act was intentional, because "Accidents happen".

That's what he called bullshit.

Apparently, "Heroes in training" couldn't use their quirks to save people if they could unless they had "permission".

...His lips thinning, he scrolled down more.

Due to having no punishments against "Villains" They just get put in jail if they're a minor villains or in a high-security prison with cells designed for their specific quirks.

He had to suppress a grimace at that little titbit.

Anyone could break out of prison, for example, someone with a teleportation quirk.

How many people have died because there was no permanent solution to this? This situation was the most common problem in these kinds of situations.

How many have died because the cells couldn't hold the prisoners?

Sighing and pocketing the phone, he got back to his biology studies. Air is useful, apparently. So cutting off the oxygen supply to the brain knocks people out. Who knew?

If a person can manipulate air, their potential is very high, knocking someone out is very simple, sucking the air out of someone's lungs only took practice. After all, no matter how strong someone is, they still need to breathe.

With his current power, he can kill dozens with just a thought. Now that was dangerous, and all this power could have been in the hands of a child if he hadn't inhabited this body.

"Are you ready?"

Snapping out of his thoughts, He looked up at his mother, who was leaning on the doorframe. Nodding, he stood up from a now empty room and walked towards her. She straightened up and opened her arms to accept the hug. He was uneasy about leaving them, even though they used to be heroes, she couldn't develop the same technique he did over these years.

Having the ability to feel everything around him through the air was very useful but the information overload he got the first time did knock him out, right in the middle of school.

He did get it under control, and could passively feel everything around him accurately in the radius of his house, he still kept the radius larger to cover the whole street though everything was less detailed. He compensated for that with his sense of smell and hearing. Every smell that frequented his neighborhood was memorized, every hero that patrolled the area was memorized, and any potential threats were taken care of by the heroes and if it was too dangerous, the villain would usually "Trip", giving the heroes time to take the criminal in.

Letting go, he leaned back and smiled at his mother. She leaned up and kissed him on the forehead.

"Now, be careful and stop being grumpy all the time, make friends, and..."

the sudden smirk that crossed her face was not something he was too enthusiastic about.

"Use protection."

Yup, he knew it. Though, he never fired back retorts when his mother teased him...

"But don't you want grandbabies?"

She deadpanned at him. He deadpanned right back.

"After UA and only after you're married. Take care of Rin, okay?"

Nodding, he went down the stairs and grabbed his shoes.

He was moving out... what a novel experience.

Opening the door, He saw his father in the car and Rin standing in front of it, waiting for him.

"Jeez, you took forever! And you didn't even grab anything."

Smirking at her eagerness, he held up four papers.

"And here I thought you wanted the next few chapters on food wars."

He couldn't feel the papers in his hand anymore. Smile growing wider, he walked closer and sat down in the back seat, right next to Rin, and leaned back, releasing a sigh.

"You excited kiddos? Already moving out, spreading your wings, leaving the nest."

His eyes lazily rolled in his sockets and settled on his father. Who was smirking?

"If you don't stop making animal references, I will fly us there, a few dollars is nothing compared to your jokes."

Chuckling slightly, His father started the car and pressed the pedal.

Soon, very soon, he would be a hero in training, and he would have to train for three years before he could actually do something.

"Hey! You're brooding."

Opening his eyes that closed during his monologue, he looked at the redhead that took a break from her reading to poke his cheek.

With his eyebrow twitching, Ayato turned his head towards her fully and rose an eyebrow.

"You keep confusing my "brooding" face and my "Thinking" face."

She shook her head and leaned back, pouting slightly.

"No, you had your brooding face on, you must have been thinking about something gloomy."

She said it like it was a fact and she would take no arguments that suggested the opposite.

Ayato shrugged, she was right, he was thinking about "gloomy" things. Still, though, it was worrying that she could read his face like that, it kind of makes him wonder if he was easy to read sometimes.

His father chuckled from the front but didn't say anything, but the look he sent them from the mirror made him scowl like he just witnessed something unpleasant.

Was he always this easy to irritate? And what did everyone find so funny?

"Anyways, can you tell me what gave you the bright idea of Eren Dying so early in the manga?"

Rin seemed irritated at that cliffhanger in the manga, this was a new discovery he made. If you were a writer, every stupid mistake the main character made was your fault...

It kinda was but he still felt like it wasn't since that manga had... special circumstances.

Well, the contract never said that He couldn't give any hints.

"Who said he was the main character?"

...Wait, that was the wrong hint.

"He isn't?"

She seemed outraged at that, it was kind of hilarious to see these kind of reactions over a few drawings.

"Nah, he is, but it never really specified if he died or not."

"How could he still be alive? he had an arm and a leg chopped off, he would have bled out in minutes."

Ah, you see dear Rin, that's what's fascinating about fiction. The main character can flip off logic and survive any wound even if it's fatal.
