8 Chapter 8 : Rewards
After saving Deku, Yuta didn't stay there for long. He put Izuku down and walked away. Izuku wanted to call out but he was under so much pain that he couldn't even open his mouth. The running adrenaline finally ran out for him and he was bombarded by the pain of 3 broken limbs.
As the exam came to a close, Yuta was feeling pretty good about the chances of scoring the top. After all, he takes out many robots maybe only less than Bakugo himself. He also should have gained many rescue points in the exam.
The only irritating part about this test was the result would take a week to come out.
Sigh.
[Hero Time 15 seconds remaining]
"I'm almost out of juice man, I better don't run into any trouble until it's reset. It's strange though that even after the test, there is no system notification." Yuta mutters to himself and starts to contemplate what's going on.
Did he not make it?
But how is that even possible? With the number of points he has scored, coming top of the ranking might be possible, let alone passing the exam.
"Is there something I am missing here ?" Yuta narrowed his eyes, trying to brainstorm any possible reason he didn't get rewarded.
But after 5 minutes of knocking his head against a rock harder than All Might's abs, he gave up.
"Whatever, just wait. There is nothing I can do about it anyways," Yuta said and sighed.
After coming out of the fake city created by the UA, he has to say that he can't even tell the difference. He looks around for the invisible girl, a very futile attempt on his part.
He wonders whether she is moving around in her birthday suit or just left. But after remembering what she told him about meeting in the school directly. It's most likely that she left.
Not bothering about the small stuff he too moved out towards his home.

(A week later)
Yuta for the next week got back to his daily natural routine. He wasn't getting the daily mission tasks anymore but the habit of Saitama training was drilled inside him to the degree that he couldn't start his day without doing the light workout. Yes, now that was pretty light for him.
As the week passed, finally, a letter from UA came. Now he was sitting in his bed, ready to open his letter and check out his result.
"Okay, whatever it is, it doesn't matter. If you can't pass then try somewhere else or maybe next year. Again, it doesn't matter. Keep going." He said to himself before he tore open the letter.
That is another habit he developed so he can accept rejection and any blow life throws at him. His motto was to approach life with no expectation but still give out his maximum input.
As the letter was torn open, a small device came out. And the next moment a hologram appears of the man himself.
All Might.

"Hey hey hey, Young Yuta. Hope you are doing well. It's me All Might.
Yes, my young friend. From this year I will be teaching as a teacher in UA.
But it's not about me, it's about you.
CONGRATULATION YOUNG YUTA.
You have passed the entrance exam with flying colours. with a total score of 114.
Making you not only the top-ranking student this year but the highest-ranking student ever. Even beating my personal record.
You have a very very bright future ahead of you young man. I will be waiting for you here in UA.

Yuta stood there dum found.
"I was expecting a high score but 114, that's insane. I am a whole 37 points ahead of the second rank which is 77." He muttered to himself but then immediately took out his laptop and opened the official UA website.
He needed to see the scoreboard for the entrance exam. Mainly his own score. Wanting to see how much he scores in rescue points.
He knew that he scored around 50-60 points in villain points. Meaning did he get over 60 points in rescue points as well?
As the website took its time, most likely because many teenagers like him right now trying the same as him. He was getting annoyed.
And there it was.
Villain Points - 54
Rescue Points - 60
"So I really did get more than 50 on both sides. Amazing.
At this point, I can only say that rescue points warry a lot. Most likely it depends on what kind of danger the participant saves the victim.
"Anyways, it doesn't matter. I just entered the chat with a bang," Yuta said with a smirk and raised his fist high to show his victory.
