15 Chapter 15 : Battle Trial 3

"Do you have any plan Yuta Kun ?" came a little hesitant question from Toru.

The battle test for his team was about to start and watching the girl's antics in front of him, he knew that it was on him to come up with a strategy. 

"I do actually." Yuta response. 

"Really, that's great. What I'm supposed to do," Toru immediately asked with anticipation in her voice. At least he believed that it was anticipation, not like he could see her face.

"Well considering the personality of our opponent team. I expect Bakugo to left Tenya behind and go alone to fight us. 

I will block his way and fight with him. You go after Tenya. " Yuta said and waited for any kind of question Toru had. 

"But I can just go and touch the bomb, can't I ?" 

"Yes, you can but All Might won't be able to see you doing that meaning we can't pass the test if you touch the bomb. If you take your gloves in then Tenya will see you.

The only way to make this work is to take down both of them. Or me to touch the bomb. To do that, we have to take down at least Bakugo anyway.

Thus, you have to take down Tenya yourself." Yuta said but knew that Toru had no way to take down Tenya. 

Even if she gets a blind shot at the boy. She won't be able to deal enough damage. Tenya currently is in his hero suit, which almost looks like armour. It looks like metal but it's not, it is a special lightweight material but it's still durable. 

Toru is nothing but a 15-year-old girl who others can't see. She can't damage Tenya. She in fact is not the kind of Hero suitable for a frontal assault like this. Maybe a silent takedown but that only after she is much more skilled in that. 

"hmm okay, I will try," Toru said with uncertainty. Even she knows that this task ins't suitable for her. But the girl gave a positive response anyway.

Yuta saw this and smile brightly. " Don't worry, I got you back Toru. I know that you can do it. I believe in you," Yuta said with his best supportive boyfriend imitation. He actually practices it a lot back then. Shame he never gets to use it. 

Single Bastard.

Yuta's eyebrow twitched suddenly, he felt that someone was mocking his singlehood. With righteous fury, he left. Suddenly motivated to punch someone, good thing a certain blond was coming right to him. 

If only he could have seen, he might have seen a sizable blush on the girl he Rizz. If only he could see...

It was exactly what Yuta thought, happened. Bakugo ditches Tenya like in the anime. Though this time around he was not that angry, if that was somehow possible.

Toru easily sneaks past Bakugo. And not only Bakugo and Yuta were left. Facing each other. Ready to fight. 

The plan was simple, Yuta will hold back Bakugo while Toru will go after Tenya. Well, that is what at least Yuta said, in reality, though he knew that he had to handle both of the enemies. Toru can only assist. He wanted to keep Toru with him so she could provide some kind of support like a sneak attack against Bakugo. 

But it's most likely that the system will not reward him if she does so, he can't use his quirk nor can get any help from his partner.

"You are going down, smart ass" Bakugo shouted, he usually gives names to the people he interact with, like Deku or Half and Half. That was Yuta's nickname in his books. Actually, there was no distinct feature in Yuta that he could call something else. Besides being a little handsome, Yuta just doesn't have many distinct traits to stand out. 

But since when does a hero need to stand out to beat an enemy? an image of a baldy appears in Yuta's mind. A smile spread on his face and even after knowing that he wouldn't be using his quirk against the madman in front of him, Yuta got ready. 

Yuta's eyes were always on Bakugo's hands, those were the only places where he could use his quirk. 

Seeing the coming Bakugo, Yuta started calculating, in the anime Deku was able to precisely calculate his next moves, but he only could do that thanks to him knowing Bakugo for a long time. Yuta didn't have that luxury right now. 

Gritting his teeth, he rushes out. 

Bakugo immediately extended his left hand to blast. Yuta not knowing what Bakugo will do, only comes up with a single outcome. Avoid the fist attack entirely to see Bakugo's range and how he gonna use his quirk in close quarters. 

So he acted like he was about to do a head-on collision but in reality, he fell down and slid toward Bakugo. Successfully avoiding the first blast from Bakugo. 

Bakugo was fast, he immediately threw another blast at Yuta, but Yuta who was on the ground, turned his entire body and with his leg, hit Bakugo's extended hand and swatted away the coming blow. 

Stopping mid-way, seeing that Bakugo's guard was open, he went for another low kick but at this, Bakugo used his other hand to cause an explosion which propelled him away. The aftershock of the explosion blasted off Yuta's back.

'Why he is not using his quirk,' All Might wondered.

Some quirks are hard to tell if are in use or not, physical enhancement quirks are usually like that, but having a similar quirk like Yuta, All Might could tell.

Yuta wasn't using his quirk for some reason. This was strange, why he wasn't using his quirk? 

But for others, they couldn't distinguish between him using his quirk or not. 

Izuku this time, wasn't in as bad of a state as he was in the anime, his body was mostly intact. 

Although he can't use Full Cowling till now, he can reduce how much power he use. Going up to 1% in one part of his body. 

He also noticed that Yuta wasn't using his quirk. He could inherently feel the same kind of power from Yuta as One For All.

Yuta on the other side, was once again at the disadvantage. He planned to get close to Bakugo and quickly take him down, but now his plan didn't work. 

He also realized that there are a few things which are different from the anime like Bakugo's blasts usually do not explode at his best power, the reason being them being too powerful for him to handle. 

Now thinking about it, it makes sense. Anime was anime but in reality, how can Bakugo use a similar kind of bast to fly away and at the same time attack without being unmoved? Not possible. 

It was clear that Bakugo had to hold back his power much to maintain his footing.
