Hearing Mr. Aizawa's word, the students were surprised and the auburn haired girl was the first to complain as she said "but orientation… we'll miss it" Aizawa sighed, 'every year the same complain' he thought then said "if you want to make it to the big leagues, you can't be wasting time on pointless ceremonies. Here at U.A, we teachers get to run our classes as we want" he moves on to look at the other students before continuing "most of you have been taking standardized quirks your whole life, unable to use your quirk. The ministry of Education still believes all are equal; how wrong they are" he then looks at the blonde porcupine and asked "Katsuki Bakugo, you managed to get the highest score in the entrance exam. What was your furthest distance throw in softball?" The blonde (i.e. Katsuki) begins thinking before saying "64m I think" Aizawa then hands him the softball and suggests "try doing it with

your quirk"

Katsuki moves into the circle and uses his explosion quirk as he shot the ball while shouting "DIE" Mr. Aizawa says while a device records the distance "know your limits first" he then shows them the device as he finished by saying "that's the best way to build a foundation of a hero"

The device read 705.2m. "WOAH" most were shocked as they looked at the device, and they became excited, one said "we get to use our quirk, that's what I'm talking about!" Another said "this is so much fun" when Aizawa heard this and asked "fun?"

He moves on to scold them as he asks "you have three years to become pro heroes and you think it's going to be fun and games?" A smirk then forms on his face as he continued "fools, today you'll take part in 8 physical fitness exams and whoever comes in last place, isn't fit for U.A and he/she will be expelled" "WHAT?" The students were immediately shocked by this; even Kazuya was a bit moved. The auburn haired girl was the first to complain again as she said "we just got here today, even if this wasn't the first day, it's not fair" Aizawa seemed shaken when he heard this and he said in a cold voice "fair…? So you think natural disasters are? What about power villains? Or calamities whose time and place can't be known? No. This world is full of unfairness and it is our job as heroes to fight that" he points at the girl and continues "for three years, U.A will throw one hardship after another at you, show me that it is not a mistake that you're here" and he looks at her as he finishes by saying "GO PLUS ULTRA!"

This lit a fire in the girl's heart and all the others, and thus the exam began.

The first test was 50-meter race which paired 2 students together at random while the time they took to run is recorded. The first group was that of Tenya Ida and Tsuyu Asui, a green haired girl who behaved like a frog. As the buzzer was sounded, they both began running but 3 seconds later, Ida had already crossed the finish line and the device read "3.04 seconds" Tenya was happy about this as speed was his domain. 2 seconds later or so, Tsuyu Asui also crossed the finish line and the device read "5.58 seconds" she didn't complain about this. The next group went up as their time was recorded.

Soon, it was Kazuya's turn and he was paired with Katsuki Bakugo, Katsuki looked at Kazuya and said "I don't know what a rich guy like you is doing here but just know I'm going to be winner of this race!" Kazuya looked at Katsuki then back at the track before him, this pissed Katsuki as when the buzzer was sounded, he shouted "DIE!" Kazuya just began running before he muttered "Combination move: forced burst" (almighty push X flying at full speed) he began flying before he used his repulsion force (almighty push) and flew at a high speed toward the finish line, this shocked Bakugo as Kazuya came and passed before him at a high speed. As he arrived the finish line, the device read "2.54 seconds" Kazuya was satisfied with this result. 2 seconds or so later, Katsuki arrived the finish line and the device read "4.13 seconds" but he wasn't happy with his score, he looked at Kazuya's back and thought 'he's strong'.

Soon everyone took the first test so they moved on to the next one which was a test of grip strength. Kazuya tried his best here and he was able to get 340.1kg which made many understand that if they were to be held by him, it'll be hard to flee.

The next test involved standing long jumps. Here, the students were to use their quirks to clear the sandbox, Kazuya just flew over the sandbox, which theoretically means he cleared. The other tests were easy for Kazuya as at one point in his life, he tried some of these things, though his score wasn't that great when it came to the repeated side steps.

It was now time for the last test which was the ball throw, since Katsuki already did this, he didn't have to participate again so he just watched. Kazuya was the first to go and as he picked the ball he realized the meaning of Mr. Aizawa's word and he said to himself 'simple deception so everyone will try his/her best' he then threw the ball as he applied 'Almighty push' so as to increase its distance. When the ball landed, he looked at the device which read '850.2m' he nodded at this as he went on to watch the others throw.

The rest was uneventful for Kazuya except when the auburn haired girl called 'Ochaco Uraraka' and the green haired boy, 'Izuku Midoriya' threw the ball. He was surprised by Uraraka as her shot hit infinity and he thought 'zero gravity is her quirk, so she did…' his mind raced at an incredible speed and he soon understood how she did it. Midoriya also made him intrigue, as throughout the match Midoriya didn't show any signs of his quirk but during this last phase, he showed his quirk as the ball reached 700+m, Kazuya looked at Midoriya's wounded finger and asked 'is it that his quirk hurts him in some way?' But he put the question to the back of his head, as he lacked too much information.

After the last throw, Aizawa gave the students a short break before he came back and showed them a holographic message in which the results were inside:

Kazuya was satisfied with his position but he didn't think much of it, he turned his head to look at Midoriya and noticed him, sweating buckets clearly scared of being expelled on the very first day. Kazuya then turned his gaze towards Mr. Aizawa as he waited for him to say something. Mr. Aizawa then said "anyway, there'll be no expulsion. It was just rational deception" "HUH" Most were surprised by this and they voiced it out, then a girl with black hair tied into a ponytail (i.e. Momo Yaoyorozu) said "of course he was kidding, I'm surprised you guys didn't see that" Kazuya looked at her and thought 'she's smart'

Mr. Aizawa ignored all this as he informed the students "there are handouts in your classroom with the curriculum within, make sure you take a look at it" and he left. Seeing him go, Kazuya was the first to move as he headed to the locker room. After he had changed he headed back to the classroom, soon the others entered into the class and normal classes resumed.
