PAGE 13: CALM BEFORE THE STORM (2)

Awakened by his classmates rambling, Kazuya looked around the class and noticed Aizawa's gaze, Kazuya felt a little uncomfortable under his gaze but he kept a stoic expression, a small smirked formed on Aizawa's face as he thought 'how interesting' he then returned to his usual self as he took his yellow sleeping bag and said "do whatever you want, just tell me when you're done" before going below his desk. With the disappearance of Aizawa, the students ramble grew louder as each voiced their opinion but Ida soon shouted "please my fellow classmates, let's calmly decide on who should be the representative by voting" many agreed but Tsuyu Asui shook her head as she said "but we've not known each other long enough so most will vote for themselves" but she was ignored as they decide to go along with the voting idea, Kazuya looks at this and asks himself 'who'll I vote for?' But he soon puts this to the back of his head as he votes for Izuku.

A while later the results are out and Midoriya is selected class president as he had 4 votes with Momo Yaoyorozu as the vice-president as she had 2 votes, seeing the results, Izuku is surprised as he begins quaking while also sweating profusely but he can't refuse the position as it's too much of a hassle for Aizawa. With that out of the way, normal classes then begin.

The bell soon rings announcing that its lunch break, Kazuya who had a concoction decided to stay in class and get some rest but his plans are foiled as Setsuna steps into his class followed by a girl with orange hair. Seeing her, he sighs heavily as he thinks 'my head is going explode today' she arrives his desk with a cheerful smile on her face as she greets Kazuya "hello Kazu" Kazuya looks at her and nods, this confuses her but she soon understands and begins poking him. A tick mark appears on his head as he tries to keep a calm while he says "plea…se… stop that" "pffffttt…hahahaha" Setsuna is amused by this as she bursts out in laughter, "hey, keep it down, this is not our class" the orange haired girl says as she feels as a third wheel, Setsuna looks at her and says "Itsuka-chan, you should have more fun" Kazuya looks at the orange haired girl and smiles, Setsuna then introduced them saying "Kazuya this is Itsuka Kendo, Kendo, this is Kazuya Mitsui" Kazuya immediately stretches his hand. Hearing his name, Itsuka is a little shocked but she immediately regains her composure as she shook his hand, "nice to meet you, Kendo-san" Kazuya says sincerely, Kendo nods as she says "nice to meet you too, Mitsui-san" Kazuya smiles at this and says "just call me Kazuya" she nods at this, Setsuna who was by the side seemed a little confused by Itsuka's behavior but she ignored this as she announces to Kazuya "hey Kazu, guess who was elected class-1B vice president? Me" Kazuya was shocked by this as he looks at Setsuna with doubts in his eyes, Setsuna was pissed by this as she says "don't look at me like that, ask Itsuka-chan here" Kazuya immediately turns his head to Itsuka, who nods and says "yes she's the vice president whereas I'm the president" "wow" Kazuya mutters before saying in a sarcastic way "congratulations Setsuna" a tick mark appears on Setsuna's head as she punches Kazuya's shoulder and says "what, why is it so hard to believe?" Kazuya looks at her with an expression that said 'seriously' but Setsuna didn't seem to notice it so Itsuka explained "well you don't really have the characteristics of a leader" "huh, why you say that?" Setsuna asked, this causes both Itsuka and Kazuya to sigh as Kazuya says "you play too much" Setsuna was pissed by this as she shouted "BAKA" then continued "I'm not the kid I used to be, I've grown up and I'm more responsible" "yeah sure" Kazuya sarcastically says, before Setsuna could fire back, an electronic voice could chimed in and announced

Hearing this, Setsuna and Itsuka were a little panicked but they became calm as they noticed Kazuya bowing his head on the table, Setsuna then asked "aren't you scarred some villain broke in?" "No, it must have been reporters and even if one broke in, this is U.A, there're pro heroes everywhere" Kazuya answers almost immediately this makes them understand that their worry was for nothing but they were shocked when they heard "and even if there were no heroes, I could just take care of them". They both look at him and Setsuna smiles as she thinks 'so he can be proud too' with that she took Itsuka and they left.

Seeing that the 'obstacles' to his way to the dream world had been removed, he thanked 'Kami' and peacefully fell asleep. The break soon came to an end and all class 1A students returned to class while Mr. Aizawa was called again as Izuku resigned from his position as class representative and handed it over to Tenya Ida due to his brave show of heroism in the cafeteria.

The day soon came to an end and all students headed home, few knew this was the calm before the upcoming storm.
