Chapter 10: Deku on News!

The gambling manager was given nearly a half million to never speak of this and to make it look like he had hired a worker for three months then fired him for not getting much of anything done.

Izuku just pulled the biggest information heist that had been seen in ages, and not a single authority knew it even happened. And now they needed him. No one had access to the information but him.

Izuku gave All For One the information on a few that seemed like something he would want. A couple sensory quirks, to compensate for his lack of a face, a warp quirk in case he couldn't reach Kurogiri, and one that boosted other quirks.

After that very long project, Izuku was glad to get back to his physical and telepathic training. Izuku knew that Shigaraki trained as well, he was skilled in hand to hand combat, which was something Izuku greatly lacked in.

So one day he walked up to Shigaraki during breakfast and asked him if he wanted to train together.

The older boy eyed him with suspicion "Why?"

"Well, I'm absolute shit with hand to hand and you hate training alone."

"Get the fuck out of my head! I have no issues spending time by myself."

"You know I physically can't get out of your head. I absolutely would if I could. Plus we both know you're lonely as hell and want someone to spend more time with and I'm tired of waiting for you to bring it up."

Shigaraki was tempted to turn his face to dust for being so cocky.

"Don't even try it. You know I've been working on my quick draw and if you seriously consider that, I will drop you before you get a single finger on me. Now, are we training together or not?"

Shigaraki grumbled in response, "fine."

The two of them barely interacted, but both of them enjoyed the company. Izuku was starting to put on some lean muscles that looked fairly fit. Shigaraki looked a lot weaker than he was.

He wasn't the strongest person around, but he was fast. Which made sense with his quirk and corresponding fighting style.

Izuku was doing sit ups when he looked over to his new workout buddy "So, is there a solid plan yet for how the League is going to become known to the public, or is the plan to do stuff from the shadows?"

"Oh we've got a plan."

-We're gonna kill All Might once he starts teaching-

"You know I'm down for killing All Might, but that sounds a lot more like a goal than a plan."

"Ugh, why do you have to be so annoying. You do the planning with Sensei, I'll do the murdering."

Izuku muttered under his breath "Truly, the words of a tactical genius."

"And beating that level will help them see how weak heroes are when they can't even protect the top hero school."

"I like this not-really-a-plan already, once we get a bit closer to the school year starting we can work out the details. And by details I mean the entire thing."

Shigiraki groaned and threw one of the smaller dumbbells in Izuku's general direction. "Whatever, for now we just get some exp and build up a mob for the raid."

"That's a weird way to say train and recruit the League, but I agree."

———

Izuku's business venture with Giran was going well. Usually Giran was the only face they saw, they never met Izuku. But Izuku wanted to get his face and name out there.

He couldn't build up a reputation if no one knew it was him. So Giran was still the middle man, he was who they contacted and he still got a cut for his networking skills, but now they met Izuku face to face.

Between his debut of revealing All Might's secrets and his current work, his clients generally just referred to him as "the Analyst". His name wasn't hard to find though.

His face and talents were fairly unique and the whole All Might fiasco made him pretty recognizable.

Even though he knew his name was common knowledge, he enjoyed the unnecessary codename, he had to admit it sounded pretty cool and a bit badass.

At first he was worried about his mother's safety, but felt confident that no one was stupid enough to try after the first guy tried and was... unsuccessful.

It was theorized his goal was to ransom her off since Izuku had a bit of money now, but he didn't even make it to the door before he was dealt with by one of the men who discreetly keeps watch over his mother.

He still had dinner with her every Sunday. He had gotten her a new house in a nice area. She hadn't moved too far out of the city, but far enough that she could have a fresh start.

Izuku felt terrible that she was having a hard time where she was because of the attention that he had brought. So he did everything he could to make sure her life was comfortable.

One day when Izuku was having dinner while watching TV with Kurogiri he saw his own face on the television.

It was an old picture, when he still looked like a baby-faced kid with messy hair. Shigaraki came up from behind Izuku and nudged him with his elbow.

"Hey, turn up the volume, I wanna hear what they're saying about our resident nerd."

"-we're still unsure of the exact nature of Midoriya's involvement, but we've been informed that he is being considered an accomplice to at least 7 different murders"

Izuku's heart sank at the news. He knew what people used his analysis for, but it still pained him to know he was hurting others. But he couldn't let himself waiver. So he put on his best villainous smile and stayed in character.

"7? That's like how many deals I do in a day. I guess not every deal turns to murder, but still, that number has to be way off." Izuku said through laughter.

"-With a warrant out for his arrest we ask that you contact the police if you see this boy."
