91 Endevour

(Todoroki Enji POV)

[Alright, I'll see you there.] I said before hanging up the phone.

The last few weeks had drained my energy so much that I was barely able to keep up with Deku, and sometimes he even exceeded my speed.

The boy seemed to have an infinite amount of stamina, but to the trained eye, it was obvious that he was running on fumes.

I was about to head to the agreed-upon location when a massive slug appeared far in the distance.

My eyes widened, "Bubble girl!"

Turning my power output to the maximum I quickly flew towards her.

We had asked her to join the civilians and students inside U.A. but she had refused and insisted on fighting the escaped villains with us.

Of course, we couldn't force her, and so agreed upon having at least one person guarding her at all times.

To our misfortune, the Akatsuki had somehow known that exactly today the weakest one of us would be guarding her.

I had just passed the halfway point to Bubble Girl's location when some invisible force pulled me out of the sky and flung me face first into the ground.

For a few seconds, I felt myself drifting in and out of consciousness, but luckily for me, I had quite the high durability and quickly stood back up.

Through my blurred vision, I could see two people standing in front of me, one was extraordinarily massive and the other unusually short.

"Well well well, you really are quite tough, Endeavour." a high pitched voice said, "I would even say you might be tougher than All Might."

As my vision cleared up I finally saw the long black and red cloak the two villains were wearing, "Akatsuki!"

The girl laughed, "That's us." she paused, "So are you gonna come with us voluntarily or will we have to drag you back?"

I gritted my teeth, "I'll defeat you now and then I'll go help Bubble girl."

The girl's laughter became even more hysterical, "You seriously think that you can defeat us?"

She then raised her arms and the surrounding buildings began slowly lifting themselves off the ground.

Not leaving her any time to act I quickly launched myself at her my fist raised ready to attack.

Reaching her I punched forward but just as I did the large man moved one massive hand between us.

My eyes widened as he swung at me, "Shit!" With no time to dodge, I quickly raised my arms but I didn't help, I was flung into the opposite building and crashed through multiple walls before coming to a halt.

"Bastards!" I swore but just as I was about to run back out of the building, a massive shadow blocked out the sun.

And next thing I knew I was being pushed through to the other side, by one of the buildings the girl had shot at me.

Crashing into the next building along, I quickly launched myself into the air and not a second too soon as just then the buildings collided with the place he had just been.

With my breathing laboured I scanned the area but I couldn't see either of them.

I was about to turn around and head towards Bubble Girl when another massive shadow fell over me but this time it wasn't a building, it was the man.

He had what seemed like lava dripping from his open mouth and from where she sat on top of him, the girl manipulated the liquid into projectiles.

I quickly moved out of the way only to be bombarded by lava cannonballs that melded through the concrete building like a hot knife through butter.

Grinning, I covered my hand in fire and grabbing onto one of the cannonballs, threw it back at the two Akatsuki members.

Unluckily for me, the girl just used her telekinesis to grab it out of the air and throw it back.

I grimaced, and exhilarating my speed, shot at the duo, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Landing one of the roofs, the massive one turned to me and tyred to grab me out of the air but I dodged him easily.

"Too slow!" I growled out as a massive pillar of flames erupted from my hands engulfing the duo.
