A New Era

(Izuku POV)

As the dust cloud cleared, the crowd, my classmates and I stared at the big screen in anticipation.

We soon saw All for One lying on the ground with All Might hunched over him unmoving.

Terror filled my heart as I thought he might be dead, but in the next moment, All MIght stood up and raised his fist in the air causing the crowd to go wild.

He then went into his muscular state and with his fist raised stood victorious over the villain.

Tears gathered in the corners of my eyes as I saw my idol, my sensei, and a person that had believed in me win against a seemingly unbeatable enemy.

But everything went quiet when something distorted the space before All Might.

My blood ran cold as I recognised the infamous orange mask Hannya always wore.

I felt Kacchan next to me stiffen and saw All Might's body deflate.

A high terrifying chuckle emerged from behind the spiral mask as if the woman behind were amused by All Might's state.

And when she spoke it wasn't the usual childish joking voice that she had before, no, it was cold and nearly bursting with suppressed mirth.

"Well… well… well, how the mighty have fallen."

Another chuckle, "You really are quite impressive, All Might."

I didn't understand how I could hear her, did she have a microphone, that she had hacked into the news broadcaster's system.

Stepping forward, she closed the distance between herself and All Might, "You did again, how very heroic of you, defeating All for One, the most feared villain of all time."

She chuckled again, "You know, All for One, he was like a father to me, and of course, just like every other daughter or son, I… have to avenge him."

Cold sweat ran down my spine as her words registered in my mind.

I took a step forward and my eyes widened as a meter long wooden stake formed in her right hand, "NOOOOOOO!"

(Toshinori Yagi POV)

I saw, as a long wooden spear formed in her hand, and I wanted to step back, to retreat, to dodge the attack that I knew was coming, but I couldn't I was too exhausted.

I could see she knew that, and then without hesitation, she stabbed forward.

The first thing I felt was something warm flowing along my stomach, looking down I saw the stake protruding out of my abdomen, my eyes widened and that was when the pain hit.

I nearly fell over but the villain caught me and held me upright. I felt confused, but when I gazed into her black eye, all I saw was pity and compassion.

"All Might, you won't remember this but I want you to know, you'll survive.

I need you to mentor Izuku, I need you to train him.

So in the end he can help Tenko defeat me."

My mind raced with questions and I looked at her confused, "Who are you?"

Her eye curved into a crescent, "I am… Hana Shimura."

I felt a second of realisation, and I knew no more.

(Izuku POV)

I fell to my knees as I saw All Might, my hero, my idol, fall.

But strangely the villain caught him.

I watched as Hannya held him there seemingly saying something to him.

They only spoke for a few seconds before All Might went limp and the villain let him drop to the floor, dead.

The crowd erupted in screams of anger and pain, and I heard Kacchan next to me shout, "YOU BASTARD I'LL KILL YOU, I'LL KILL YOU!"

Standing up I clenched my teeth and ran towards the sight of the battle.
