Extended Prologue | Part 8

"What are you going to…" Hawks couldn't finish the wordsbefore Toya ran forward throwing the ball of fire inside the firewall.

But it was for a different reason. The fireball, detonated in a blast of blue light, blinding anyone that was foolish enough to look at it. It acted like a flashbang, blinding the giant.

The firewall was already lowering and Toya took the chance to break out, going through it. Running towards the blinded beast, he lowered himself getting close, giving himself a few meters of distance before he pushed his blue flames on the floor. "Prominence Burn!" he screamed out with the deepest voice he could muster, trying to copy that man's voice. And it seemed to work.

The giant villain still blinded crossed his arms taking steps back. Toya smirked. "Grow some brain cells you giant fuck." He mumbled, smiling.

The ground beneath the giant pulsed blue flames, before it melted. The giant sank with his overweight, getting stuck in the melted road. Only then did he try to open his eyes.

"Oh, no you don't," Toya said, flicking away another small fireball at the beast, which again erupted in a flashbang. Blinding it.

The giant could probably get out as it only had its legs stuck. But as if a light bulb popped in Toya's head. He ran forward, his right hand already curled up in a ball, and he threw the fireball at the giant's midsection.

The fireball exploded in that area as the giant wimped, holding his groin.

Toya jumped behind a tossed vehicle looking for anything that he could use.

Looking up towards a building sideways Toya saw a water tank on the top of a nearby for stories building. Pulling his hand inside, he condensed a fireball, this one bigger than the previous one.

And he shot his way, take out the water tank. Most of its content wouldn't have poured on the giant, if not for Hawk's help, who guided the fall with his wings. It fell on the giant, hardening the road, trapping the roaring beast.

"Thanks for the help." Toya looked back towards where Hawks was, a smile plastered on his face. "Also, this doesn't consider as attacking a villain right?" he said grinning. "I just gave him a warm road bath."

"…who are you?" Hawks said, with a frown. He was about to say more… when All-Might came crashing down as if a thunderbolt hit the villain, the number one hero struck it, knocking it out cold.

"Thank you, young heroes." He said a weak smile nothing like his confident one, but still he was smiling before jumping away.

Both teenagers open-mouthed saw the hero leave. Toya didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but the giant was knocked out. And as All-Might took the credit, he wouldn't get into trouble, so that was a plus.

But even though it was for a moment, Toya and Hawks saw All-Might. They found it hard to believe that, he was in a rough shape, and he seemed to hold the left side of his stomach. Could any villain do something like that, well, not your ordinary ones.

But if All-Might was here, that meant the villains were already dealt with, that was good news.

Toya stood up, "Well at least someone acknowledged me as a hero." He tried to play it off, but the smile on his face said otherwise. He just talked to his favorite, well, he didn't respond back, but that totally counted as a talk.

"And he took out the villain in one punch…" Toya nodded to himself, looking at the half berried giant on the road.

Hawks landed near Toya looking at the mess, he would have a lot of explaining to do to the hero commission. His eyes landed on Toya, the boy was a mystery.

That wasn't some random citizen playing hero, he was obviously trained. Knows his stuff, which could mean a lot of things, but one of them was that, he might be associated with villains.

His gut told him otherwise but he needed to be careful. Toya jogged towards Backdraft, saying something to him. And the man, sprayed him with water, making him wet.

Only then did Hawks notice that the burn marks over his arms. Both of his arms were sleeveless, burn off by his quirk but what made Hawks winch were the several burn marks plastered on it. That was done by his quirk.

Such a powerful quirk, with such a big weakness. His firepower could maybe match Endeavour, but the number two hero didn't have the burning problem.

Hawks didn't say anything, but he was going to have his eye on him. Maybe the Hero agency could do something with him.

Toya on the other hand felt like ripping his arms off. They heart so bad, but he held on to it. He stopped his burns to the minimum so that was a huge win for his parts.

He still needed to make his escape. And it was a bit of trouble to do that when a real UA intern student was constantly having an eye on you.

"And what the fuck are you doing here?" A female voice said, making every hair on Toya's body go up. Shit.
