Extended Prologue | Part 4

Toya took out his phone, but the network was bad as his luck. He tapped his feet several times when another large boom took place not far from them.

What was this a villain attack? But it seemed to be too organized, then a terrorist attack? But then why this city? All-Might's office was just in the other city. And with his speed, Toya wouldn't be surprised if he had already saved a dozen of people.

Toya shouldn't have moved but his feet carried him towards where the recent explosion occurred. As he passed by the running passerby, mostly panicking to get out.

Toya peaked from the corner and… that red and yellow suit, that's defiantly All-Might.

But he wasn't saving people, no. He was fighting someone, as he saw his deflecting projectiles thrown at him. And he seemed to be over tensed. That was a look that didn't match his broad smiling figure.

Toya could barely get a look at the opponent, before All-Might charged towards him. And another explosion occurred. The wind was strong enough to almost lift him, it was good thing to hold on to a nearby pole. But when he looked back, both All-Might and the Villain were gone.

It was at that time, he saw a figure jumping from one building to another. He knew her, that was the new Rabbit hero. And she seemed to jump onto the apartment building and was taking out civilians one by one.

Now it made sense, That was why All-Might was guarding the place. There were still people inside. Respect grew more for his all-time favorite hero.

Toya walked there, he knew better to go in. But he couldn't just stand there and judging by the damage it sustained, it wouldn't fall anytime soon. And seeing him brought the attention of the Rabbit Hero, Mirko to him.

"What are you doing here, kid?" she asked, a child was over his shoulder. She jumped right in front of Toya, before she dropped the child. "This isn't a picnic spot. Go and evacuate."

"I can help. Uh, I am in my first year UA, internship…" He lied, but then again this was around the time when the internship usually happened. "…and I kinda live in this area. So can I help?"

He asked determination in his eyes, lives needed to be saved. Mirko looked at him before nodding. "Go to the lower floors, there should be a few civilians in there. I still have to clear the top floors."

Toya nodded before running inside. A sense of excitement quickly washed away the anxiety he was feeling a minute ago. Now fully determined he went into the building.

Lighting up a small blue fire, he got inside the dark building. The attack seemed to have cut the power out. Luckily he had his trusty blue flames.

His Quirk: Cremation, dazzling blue flames that were hotter and brighter than normal flames.

It wasn't hard to find people as most of them were stuck on the staircase. And were too afraid to get out. He just being there was enough to ease the tension, and to clear most of them civilians.

But just to be safe he went inside, checking a few things, most of the pillars of the building were still intact, meaning he wouldn't have to worry about the building toppling over his head.

And it looked like the upper floors were on fire, meaning someone might have used their quirk to attack it. So the building shouldn't fall.

He smiled to himself. Maybe training alone was the right decision. His father would have only taught him how to punch and kick. This kind of complex thing was out of his head.

Toya was pretty sure, that man had assistance behind his comms that helped him navigating in this type of situation.

So Toya knowing a little bit about damage control was a thing to be proud about. "Don't let it get to your head." He mumbled. He was about to go on the upper floor when something caught his attention.

It was a muffled cry, and it was coming from the upper floors, he got up, "Is someone in there." He asked, and the crying sounds confirmed it. It was the apartment on the right.

He tried to open the door, but it was locked. "Stay away from the door, okay?"

Putting his palm over the doorknob he melted it away, and the door was opened. A snap from his fingers and his blue fire revealed the situation. He went inside, looking…

The problem was in one of the bedrooms, the window had shattered and rubble from the building came inside, messing the place up.

This was bad. Two kids, both around age three were crying over a man, who was bleeding from his shoulder. With that rod coming out of the man's shoulder Toya knew that the man was lucky to still have his arm.

Toya rushed to the man's side. Lightly slapping his cheeks. Luckily he was still conscious, but his face looked pale. Maybe it was from the blood loss.

"Please take my kids." He said, struggling to breathe. Did that puncture his lungs, no, it was definitely the blood loss. The rod was sticking a few inches above where his lungs should be. Toya clicked his tongue, this is bad, but he didn't show it on his face, that was the last thing he would do.
