1 1: Not Fun At All

In a clear blue sky, we could see a man free-falling.

He had jumped out of a plane, his face sporting a wide joyful smile.

'Yes! This feels really exciting! I have my license so, I am finally able to do this on my own!' thought the man.

He extends his arms and legs, slowing his fall down.

He then looked at the scenery below, spotting some weird formations of clouds as well.

'Pfft. That cloud looks like a big truck!' shouted the man inwardly.

'THAT one looks like a skull!'

Once he notices that he is growing closer, and closer to the ground, he looks at his watch. It indicated his altitude. The moment the watch showed 95ft, he releases some kind of pin and pulls a handle. Something came out...

'Phew, this was really fu- Huh?'

But... Instead of slowing him down, nothing happened! He continued plummeting towards the ground.

So, he pulls the emergency handle, cutting the previous parachute and a different one deploys.

But... It is revealed that... the parachute was slashed.

Since nothing happened, he was still nearing the ground.

The watch showed 60ft.

Some people could spot him, falling at a great speed, and many of those people were panicking.

'I-'

'This... This is not fun anymore!' exclaimed the man, but contrary to his statement, his heart pounded with a mix of exhilaration and worry.

40ft.

'I-is this how I die?...'

20ft.

'But still... I lived a fun li-' thought the man with a content smile, but he was never able to finish the thought as his body made contact with the grassy ground, and everything went black for the man.

In a small house, a young woman barely in her twenties, screamed in pain while an old woman who acted as her midwife and doula, helped her give birth.

...

After a few more screams of agony, a small baby boy was birthed, his body covered in blood.

"It's a baby boy, dear... Have you decided on a name?" said the old woman, as she presented the now cleaned infant to the woman, whose blonde hair was disheveled, her lower body covered in blood.

As she saw the baby, her eyes seemed to widen in unease. But, despite that, she took the baby.

"Y-yes... Yusuke..." she spoke, her voice full of fatigue.

...

"Now, you need some rest... I will take care of this child for this night..." said the old woman.

"Thank you... Granma Emi..." thanked the young woman, falling asleep not long after.

The old woman gently puts the newborn baby in the prepared basket. She then plucks out some of her hair, tying it to the young woman's head and waist.

After a while, a small warm light envelops the blonde woman, giving off a warm soothing feeling.

'This young girl is very kindhearted... Even though this baby was the result of her... unfortunate trauma, she still chose to give birth to him...' thought Granma Emi in pity.

But, while the old woman was deep in thought...

****

The baby "awoke", yet stayed silent.

'Where am I?' the baby thought.

He tried to open his eyes but everything was blurry. And, just as the baby thought it was cold, he was wrapped in a warm cloth.

He still couldn't understand what was happening right now. The last thing he remembered was...

Nothing.

He can't remember anything! Well, except for one thing. A gleeful smile from a blurry figure, followed by a blinding flash of light.

'What happened to me...?'

Why couldn't he remember anything?!

Panic filled the baby's mind as it finally cried. He felt he was being swayed gently which oddly calmed him down.

'That-... That feels nice...' he thought, feeling drowsy.

A second later, the baby finally fell asleep in the hands of the old woman.

****

The faint chirping of birds awoke the young woman from her sleep.

Still feeling fatigued, she called out to Granma Emi, "Granma... Emi...?"

"Oh! Saeko... Please, don't exert yourself. Just, stay in bed for a while. I will be sending you your food..." informed the old woman, her voice sweet but full of worry.

She then added, "Kiyo-san's sister is also coming to visit. So, don't worry."

...

After a few hours, a young woman arrived in Sae's room.

"Saeka... Are you and the baby alright?" asked the young woman in a small voice.

"Miru... Yes," replied Saeka with a small smile.

Miru sighed in relief and said, "That's great news... Anyway, I came by to help Granma Emi and you with the baby."

"Thank you... But, how is Kiyoko-chan?"

"Oh! She went into labor last night."

"Then, I hope she's going to be alright." stated Saeko in worry.

Meanwhile...

A baby was currently placed in a crib. Its eyes tried to survey the room, but not succeeding as its eyes were not fully developed yet.

The baby sighed inwardly.

He really can't remember his identity, his past, or how he even got into this situation.

'Sigh... I really don't like this...'

What did you think of the first chapter?

Author's Notes:

I know, I know. "No memories?! What's the point of reincarnating him? Why not just make an OC?"

Well, firstly, Yusuke was reincarnated in the previous version, and turning him into an OC would just take too much work. (Too much work for a procrastinator such as myself.)

Secondly, his "amnesia" is not permanent.

Lastly, please be patient with me, lol.

Also, I just want to say, that yes. Yusuke's mother was... Uhm, I'm going to use the more tolerant term; s*xually assaulted.

P.S: Please let me know if the circumstances of Yusuke's mother are too much...
