7 Chapter 7

Aizawa sat in the teacher's lounge looking at the papers for the students, making mental notes of their personalities and quirk usage.

While some quirks like Mina's were dangerous since she could release acid that could melt off human skin, she could control the ph of her quirk. Defeating villains wasn't the only thing heroes had to do. This is why he made mental note to help them choose what type of hero they want to be.

He soon came down to the first major problem in his class. Izuku Midoriya. He is the problem child of the group. His quirk was powerful but he has no control over it. If he doesn't learn to control it soon, his hero career would and before it even starts.

He then moved onto Axel Black. If Aizawa had to choose someone from his class for the most potential his choice would be Axel. His quirk being Barriers would usually be thought of as a support quirk that could only be used to defend villains from attacks and help the heroes from the sidelines.

However, Axel destroyed this concept as he gained the most villain points in the exam. Aizawa could also see that Axel had a lot of creativity when using his quirk partnered with masterful control.

From what he saw of Axel's personality, he knew that Axel would keep calm in dangerous situations. His personality was similar to Todorki's as they mostly kept to themselves, probably why they could strike up conversations with each other so easily.

" So what did you think about your students? You didn't expel them on the first day so that means something. " Nezu said as he plopped himself on Aizawas shoulder.

" They have potential, though problem child Midoriya will be a problem and so will this Bakugou and his temper tantrums. " Aizawa said.

" True. " Nezu said as he looked at the papers.

" Did you figure out how Axel did his ball throw? " Aizawa asked.

" I have an idea but I will wait for confirmation later. Besides he hasn't stopped trying to improve. " Nezu said as he showed Aizawa a video.

It showed Axel's ball slamming into some trees before stopping. Aizawa's eyes widened as a card appeared above the ball, the card being the ace of spades.

" He was trying to figure out the limits of his quirk here and use what he knows about his quirk in your tests.

He is quite interesting. " Nezu said with a smile.

" You aren't wrong. Though I really don't know why he came here to UA to be a hero. He showed many qualities of being a hero in the entrance exam as he stopped getting villain points and just helped out others. " Aizawa said.

" Then I'll just have to ask him then. " Nezu said as he walked out the building.

Axel walked around the school to familiarise himself with the layout. After the quirk test, he was bombarded with questions from his classmates about his quirk.

He answered their questions but most didn't get it. He didn't care though. After all, if they don't understand, they don't understand. Simple.

After that, the class acted talked about his entrance exam scores in which all the characters acted accordingly. Midoriya acted like Midoriya, Uraraka acted like Urataka so on and so forth.

Todoroki was surprised at his score in the exam and told Axel...

" Your scores are too low. "

Axel was surprised by Todorokis's words and so was the rest of the class. Axel knew that he could have gotten more points but in reality, he just wanted to get into UA not beat any records.

Bakugou who heard this then acted as all Bakugou's would in the wild. First, he slammed his hand on the desk to create an explosion to get attention, then gets up to make a speech about how he will be the best with a lot of profanities, and finally slam open the door to leave the classroom.

' My range now is 5500+ meters. Barriers I can make reduce in size the more distance it is from me. Plus they shatter and break more easily.

However, in a radius of 1000 meters, any barrier I make is at full power unless I'm low on stamina.

If I run out of stamina, I'll be forced to sleep to recover and I am defenseless. '

His expression didn't change as he felt someone land on his right shoulder.

" Hello, principal Nezu. What can I do for you? " Axel asked.

" You already knew it was me. How? " Nezu asked with a smile. He wasn't really shocked but intrigued.

Axel looked at him as he kept walking. He didn't know why the principal was here but he could make a few guesses.

" The moment you landed on my shoulder. Your feet touched my upper back which means you aren't that tall, but that doesn't prove it's you considering quirks can alter a person's max height.

What sealed it was your paws. You used both of your paws which is way different than the feeling of having a hand with 5 fingers. Besides that, I never felt your thumb. " Axel said.

Nezu smiled in delight. Axle was far more attentive than he thought. He knew now that Axel and indeed figured out the trick to the entrance exam.

" Well, you are correct. So how was the entrance exam for you? " Nezu asked.

" It was interesting. " Axel said as he realized what Nezu wanted.

" That's good. "

" So principal Nezu, I doubt that you were just here for that, is there anything else you want to ask? "

" Nope. I just came here to what you like. You interest me that's all. " Nezu said.

Axel nodded. He wants really phased by that, after all, if he found something interesting he would also check it out directly.

" So why did you have All Might say the results in the hologram? "

" For the memes. No, I mean it. A small camera was perfectly timed to capture the face of the students when All Might appeared on the screen. " Nezu said.

" I see. " Axel said. He wasn't bothered by that since Nezu has access to all the people in Japan.

Knowing how his mother looked and how his room looked wasn't really important.

" Thinking about it, All Might was to say something about him being at UA. What was it?" Axel asked.

" It was covered in the video. How do you not know? " Nezu asked curiously.

" My mother skipped his speech and I agree with her because we couldn't care less about his speeches. " Axel said.

" Do you play chess? " Nezu asked immediately after.

" Sometimes but yes. " Axel said.

" Then come to my office once in a while. I haven't been able to have a decent chess match. " Nezu said.

" You really don't like his speeches, don't you? " Axel said.

" Yes. His speeches are just so annoying. Especially during the takes. Instead of just using technology to change the names and make it easier, he wanted to do all of them one at a time. " Nezu said with an annoyed look on his face at the memory.

" I recommend taking a day off to have a spa day and get deep tissue massage. " Axel said.

" Already booked for the weekend."

"Nice. When he made speeches on TV, I just mute him and make my own speech for him. "

" Same. "
