Chapter 48

Axel stared at the options given to him by Aizawa for heroes to intern with. He looked through them multiple times while looking them up online. Once he did, he decided to intern with a hero called Rotate. His quirk allows him to rotate his fingernails and shoot them like a bullet. His control allows him to shoot through metal and strong to knock out a human being without drawing blood.

" Who did you choose? " Mina asked.

" A hero called Rotate. " Axel said.

" Really? Why though? " Kirhsima asked as he read through Rotates description.

" I looked through them all and decided to intern with him. I didn't like most of the options so I just went with one. Besides, his quirk is interesting" Axel said.

" Makes sense. " Mina said. " Who do think I should go to? I'm thinking either... "

They spent time talking about who they should internship with.

" Axel! " said a voice.

Looking to his left he saw Kota along with Mandalay enter the common room.

" Hey, Kota. " Axel said.

" Mandalay! " Mian said as she waved to one of her teachers who trained her during the training camp.

" What are you doing here? " Kirhisma asked.

" We had some time off, so we came here to see you guys again. Mainly Kota though. " Manadalay said witha smile.

" Yeah. I want to fly again. " Kota said with a smile.

" That's a good reason to come. " Kirhsima said with a smile.

" Yeah. Let's Let's now. " Mina said excitedly as all three of them looked at Axel with pleading expressions.

Axel sighed but smiled and got up.

" Let's go. " Axel said.

" Yes. " The three cheered as they got up and went outside.

" Alright, everyone. The flight will commence in a few seconds. There's only one rule. Trust me. " Axel said as he idled off the ground.

" Yes sir. " The other 3 said as Axel started flying over the campus.

Kota had a huge smile on his face as he looked down at the ground below. Mina and Kirhisma were enjoying this as well.

" If you look towards your left, you will see a wild Bakugou in his natural habitat. " Axel said.

They looked out to their left to see Bakugou training. Mina looked at him and a light bulb lit up behind her head.

" Hey, Kota. Want to attack him? " Mina asked as she smiled mischievously at Kota.

" What are we going to do? " Kota asked with anticipation.

" Just a good bombing. " Mina said.

" What? " Kirhsima asked.

So they did what Mina said. They gathered a bunch of water balloons, filled them up, and dropped them onto the Bakugou.

" You little shits!! I'll have my revenge! " Bakhiu said as he avoided the water balloons.

" Sorry Bakgou, but we have the high ground!! " Mina yelled.

" Sorry, Bakubro. " Kirishima said with an apologetic face.

" You're dead! " Bakugou yelled.

Laughing they went back to the dorms while Bakugou planned out his revenge. He succeeded as Kirishima and Mina switched skin tones while Axel gained red hair.

...

" Hello, Axel. " Rotate said as he held his hand out to Axel.

" Hello, sir. Thanks for agreeing to let me intern with you. " Axel said politely as he shook his hand.

Rotate gave Axel a rundown of what he will be doing being an intern. Once that was completed, he told Axel to go change into his hero costume and meet him outside to go on patrol.

Axel nodded and went to change. Once finished, he met up with Rotate outside.

" Alright then, let's go. We will start with the downtown area first before going to the highway and finally to the center of the city. We will patrol each area for 3 hours before switching to the next. " Rotate said.

" Okay. "

Patrols went smoothly as not much actually happened. With All Might gone, crime rates have skyrocketed so the heroes had to pick the pace.

They managed to adjust and work harder to maintain peace. This is why, Axel didn't see much crime occur while on patrol, but saw multiple heroes already on patrol.

Soon enough, they headed to the highway, where they watched for anything to occur. Everything was happening till Rotate got notified.

"Villains are heading on the highway in a mini white van. "

It was a good old car chase.

" Your time to shine kid. "

Axel quickly located the car and created a hoverboard. Getting on it he rushed off towards the car, leaving Rotate behind.

" He must have been eager for some action. " Rotate muttered as he watched Axel speed off.

" Jeff, see any heroes on our tail? " The guy at the wheel asked.

" Nope. No one so far. "

" Alright then, let's speed up so we can get to the rendezvous faster and lose them. " said the guy at the wheel before speeding up the car.

" True. But seriously, look at all this cash, Bois!! " Their companion said as he opened the bag. Inside was tons of money.

" Once we get back, can put the money in a dry tub and take a bath in it, Bob? " Jeff asked innocently.

" Sure man, but do it with your share of the cash. I don't want mine smelling like Jeff. "

" Same. "

" Yes. "

Bob looked forward to driving on the road. He was feeling great. Robbed a bank, got tons of cash, and the heroes aren't here to catch up to them at all yet. He was smiling with joy as he kept driving.

His eyes widened however when he saw a kid appear in front of the car, sitting on a yellow platform, flying backward.

" What the hell? " Bob muttered.

" Who's he? " Jeff asked as he looked at Axel.

" A hero Jeff. "

Axel then popped open the hood of the car, causing Bob to panic.

" Shit, I can't see the road!! " Bob said.

" Keep driving. " Said his companion who's name was Gary.

Gary then poked his head out of the sunroof part of the car. He looked ahead to see the highway was mostly straight and no one else in the area. The only person here was Axel.

" He's the only one here! I'll direct you. " Gary yelled as put his head back in the car.

" Got it. " Bob yelled.

" Good. Slam the brakes!! " He yelled

Bob slammed his foot hard in the brakes, causing the car to skid on the road. It was a straight road with other cars there. This also put the hood back in its place, allowing them to see what's in front of them.

Axel watched as the car got further and further away from him but he just went back to the car. Bob looked at Axel, clicking his tongue in annoyance.

" Use your quirks. " He yelled. Jeff and Gary nodded as they opened the window to us their quirks. That however didn't go well as Axel just wrapped them up in chains, preventing them from moving.

He removed Bob's hands from the wheel by chaining him so he just created two hands to drive the car to a halt. Bob tried to floor it in a last-ditch effort but it didn't work.

" What? Why isn't it working?! " He yelled.

Simple. While the hood was up Axel had to make one of the hardest decisions he had ever made. Which wire should he cut?

There were multiple wires connected to the engine. The red wire, blue wire, black wire, white wire, and green wire. He couldn't decide, so he cut all of them with a pair of scissors.

...

" No!! My dream is dead!! I'll never be able to swim in a pile of money. " Jeff sobbed as he was apprehended.

Bob and Gary also had tears from getting caught. Their goals in life were slowly dying because they didn't get away.

" Good job. " Rotate said as he congratulated Axel.

" Thanks. " Axel said as he looked at Jeff, Bob, and Gary

' Swimming in piles of money. I wonder how that would feel? I'll ask Momo later. '
