1 Chapter 1

" Alright class, remember to fill in your forms to enter the hero school of your choice, if you want to, by Friday.

Need to send in the forms so that all of you can take the exams to see if you can qualify for the entrance exam. " The teacher said as everyone understood.

The bell soon rang as the class ended. The kids broke off into groups. The people who want to become heroes with their friends, the cocky brats who got praised by others, and the people who just packed their stuff to leave.

Axel got up from his desk, grabbed his bag, and walked away from everyone. He avoided everyone as he headed to the gates of the school to leave.

Axel had messy blonde hair with pale skin and light blue eyes. He had a swimmer-like build and had taken care of his body. He trained every day to not impress the ladies, but mostly to pass the time.

" Axel! Wait up. "

Axel didn't listen as he quickened his pace to getaway. However, he couldn't as the person in question had already got next to him. She had pink skin, short hair, and 2 horns on her head. Her eyes had black sclera and yellow irises. In her hand was the other poor soul who was dragged by her.

Eijiro Kirishima. He was quite a shy and quiet person as he didn't really talk to others that much. He had black hair that had bangs that covered his eyes and was quite skinny. Axel nodded towards him as Kirishima nodded back.

They didn't mind each other's presence and could talk to each other quite easily since they usually stay away from others, however, Mina was the exception as she never left them alone for a long period of time.

" So what is it this time? " Axel asked as he really wanted to go home and just sleep for the rest of the day.

" Don't be so grumpy. I just wanted to ask if you guys decided on which hero course you want to join. " Mina said as she walked ahead of both boys.

" I haven't decided yet. " Axel said as Kirishima agreed with him.

He just said that to make Mina say her option so he can write that on his paper. Kirishima wasn't really into the idea of becoming a hero at all.

" Well, I'm going to apply for UA. " Mina said happily.

" I see. " Axel said.

They talked for a while before heading into the local shop on their paths home. Going inside. Mina immediately dragged both of them towards the manga section. She wanted to get the manga that she couldn't get before because she was broke.

While she was looking at the manga, Kirishima picked one of them up and read through it. Axel glanced at him and saw it was his favorite. He walked away to the drink section.

He picked up a can of coca-cola as the door opened and people with guns entered the store.

" Get back all of you! Try to fight back and we will shoot! You give us all your cash! " One guy said as the others pointed their guns at the people in the stores.

Everyone was afraid. They backed away and tried to keep calm as they kept their mouths shut. Mina looked at the robbers. She wanted to become a hero however these guys had guns in their hands and would shoot. She didn't know how to handle this situation and the fear kicked in.

Kirishima was the same. He was already afraid of most people. Against these guys, he was absolutely terrified. They may be small fires to big-time villains but they were still dangerous. He hid behind Mina from the fear.

Axel however was just bored. He didn't feel fear from these guys. All of them were shaking as they held up their guns.

' They haven't killed anyone before. '

With that in mind, he walked over to the counter. The robbers noticed him as they held their guns towards him.

" What did we tell you? Don't move or we will shoot. " The robbers said. The leader looked at the kid who just ignored his friend and appear at the counter.

" Kid didn't you hear him?! " he asked as he raised his gun to Axel's head. Axel wants afraid while the others were for his safety. Mina and Kirishima especially. They wanted to help but didn't as they were still afraid.

" Yes but I don't care. " Axel said.

Immediately after, transparent yellow rectangles appeared above the robbers and slammed into them, pinning them to the floor. They had let go of their guns and couldn't get them at all.

" Excuse me. " Axel said as he placed his coke on the counter. Snapping out of her trance, the cashier did her job. Everyone else sighed as they saw the robbers couldn't move.

" Dammit. " The leader muttered as he tried to get up. Axel looked at him. the leader looked at him with rage as he tried to get up.

" So why did you try to rob this place? " Axel asked curiously. He knew that villains had reasons for doing what they did.

" My daughter is in a bad state as she got into an injury because of a hero fighting a villain. I don't enough money for the treatment that would save her because of my job. That's why I tried to rob the store with these people. They wanted to help me." The leader said with tears. In his emotional state, he couldn't think and said his frustrations.

Axel could understand. He probably had a really bad job which ended up with him unable to give his daughter the treatment. Plus his daughter only got hurt because of a fight between a hero and a villain.

" Was she directly attacked by the villain? " Axel asked.

" No. She got hit by a stray shot from the hero. The hero was just toying with the villain as his attack missed and hit my daughter. " The leader said as he cried.

Axel just stared at him and didn't flinch. He stayed silent as he pondered the thought. The cops soon arrived and took the robbers into custody. They thanked Axel but also told him he shouldn't use his quirk. he was giving a small fine because of the situation.

As the cops drove away, Axel went home, as both Mina and Kirishima went home earlier after saying goodbye and thanking him.
