12 Chapter 12

The next 2 days went by as Axel had taken All Might's advice and stopped tirelessly trying to find an answer. Combined with Aizawa's advice he relaxed as the day went by. Though there were some annoyances such as the reporters outside the schools when they knew All Might worked at UA.

" All right, listen up. You have another problem to sort out. " Aizawa stated as everyone was on guard for this. They paid attention to Aizawa as he spoke...

" You guys need to choose a class president. " Aizawa said.

' That's a normal school thing. ' Most of the students thought in relief.

" Choose me for president. " Denki said as he raised his hand.

" No me. " Mina said as she raised her hand in excitement.

" You idiots. I should be class president. " Bakugou yelled.

The class went back and forth in their arguing before Iida stopped them.

" Stop! The position of class president is an important duty. We aren't getting anywhere with agreeing so let's hold a vote. " Iida said as he looked at Aizawa. " Is this all right sir? "

" Don't care. Just choose. " Aizawa said as he got in his sleeping bag and slept.

" Okay then. Also, we can't vote for ourselves. " Iida said as he took out some paper and handed it out to his classmates. Everyone agreed since if they vote for themselves, the chances of getting a class president would be slim.

Axel thought about it and decided to vote for Iida since he was the most uptight person in the class.

The results were in as Axel stared with his usual poker face before looking away from the results.

Axel: 6 votes.

Momo: 5 votes

" Guess Axel is our class president. " Kirishima said with a smile.

" I'm fine with that, ribbit. " Asui said.

" Who voted for him? I demand to know. " Bakugou yelled.

" Bakugou, chill. Anyway, Axel, go make a speech. " Mina said as she grabbed Axel and placed him in front of the class. She then went back to her seat as Axel looked at everyone.

" Thank you for this opportunity. My first order of being class president, Iida please come up here." Axel said. Confused, Iida walked up to the front as Axel looked at the students.

" Iida, you are the class president now. I quit. " Axel said as he walked back to his seat. Being class president means he had to take care of everyone in the class. Thats to much work.

" Okay then. Iida is class president and Yaoyorozu is vice president. " Aizawa said as he got up from his sleeping bag vampire style.

The bell rang as the class went to the cafeteria for food.

Axel sat down next to Todoroki to eat his food like when they first started coming to school on the first day.

Kirishima and Mina sat with them along with Jiro and Hagakure who were friends with Mina due to their love of music.

" You shouldn't have done that. If you were class president I would have more leeway. " Mina whined as she wanted to use Axel to do whatever she planned to do.

" That's exactly why I rejected the position. Plus I didn't want to deal with everyone. " Axel said.

" Makes sense. So what did you think of that new song that came out? " Kirishima asked.

" It was awesome." Hagakure squealed.

" Yep. " Mina said as she and Hagakure high-fived.

" The best part was diffently the guitar solo. " Jiro said as she took a bite of her food.

" It was so cool. " Kirishima said.

" Which song are you talking about? " Todoroki asked as he swallowed his soba.

" This song. " Axel said as he showed Todoroki and kept the volume low for him to hear while not disturbing others.

"It's good but I don't see the appeal. " Todoroki said bluntly.

Mina, Kirishima, Hagakure, and Jiro froze as they looked at him with betrayal written on their faces.

" Why are they looking at me that? Did I say something wrong? " Todoroki asked Axel.

" No. They just like the song a lot and the hype is still there. Anyway, try a song from this creator. More your style." Axel said as he showed Todoroki a different creator.

" I like it. " Todoroki said with a small smile on his face.

" I'll send more songs similar to this later. " Axel said.

" By the way, please stop with those looks. " Axel said as he looked at the others who were looking down at their food.

Suddenly the alarm went off as they looked in confusion while others in the cafeteria got up in a panic.

" That alarm only goes off when there's an intruder in the school premises!! " Some random student yelled.

Axel watched in disbelief as everyone started to run out of the cafeteria, bumping into each other and crowding the halls.

" So what do you think is the reason for the alarm going off? " Hagakure asked. She and Jiro didn't move from their spot since the others at the table didn't get up. Axel and Todoroki just continued to at their food.

" Probably the press. " Mina said as she leaned on her hand while looking at her food.

" They were really determined to get into on All Might," Kirishima said.

" Yeah but it's just a question how did they get past the security system? " Hakagure said.

" I doubt they have anyone that can hack into UA's system to open the gates. " Axel said.

" Guess so. " Jiro said as she leaned back in her seat contemplating the info.

" Calm down everyone. It's just the press. This is not how UA students should behave. " They heard Iida's voice loud and clear as they sat at their table.

" Seems Iida is already hard at work. " Mina said smirking.

" You should have taken the position. " Mina said blankly as she looked at Axel.

" And deal with all those people. No thanks. " Axel said as he continues to eat.

' Though it could be possible that this was a distraction. UA is known for its impenetrable defense system. No one can get in by hacking the system.

It could be someone with a quirk to target the front door, allowing someone inside. While the teachers go straight there to check out the situation while the students panicked. Besides, it must be someone unrelated to the press.

They must want something here. It's just a matter of what? No matter. The reason will happen sooner or later. I just need to be prepared for it. ' Axel thought.

While the heroes dealt with the reporters, a lone figure hid amongst the sea of reporters.

He watched everything occur before leaving with a group of reporters.
