8 Revelations

The moon was high in the sky. it shined in its full glory, granting its silverish light to the dark world underneath. It was late at night, or early in the morning, the streets of Musutafu city were empty except for the few heroes that were patrolling; and even then, a small figure managed to bypass them, he was silent and he moved like the bones in his body didn't follow the rules of anatomy. If anyone were to see him, they would surely think that his quirk was something between elastic bones and some kind of goo quirk that allowed him to move like the bones in his body didn't exist. In reality, though the lonely figure was just flexible, a skill that was forced upon him. He runs through the streets and into alleys and roofs, the wind was gently caressing his face as he runs against him on the rooftops before jumping down on the street once again.

He came to a stop when he found the hidden entrance for the Underworld, his grayish hair waving in the same manner as the soft wind did, it was like the wind was yelling its goodbyes to his young running partner as the boy descended the stairs and started heading towards the monitor room. He became one with the shadows like he was part of them, part of the darkness. Once again, he passed by people that didn't even notice him, and even if they did, they wouldn't be able to register what was happening next. He knocked out a plethora of villains that stood in his way, he saw them as small obstacles that if not taken care of they could put this entire raid in danger, no matter if the obstacle was in the green zone or in the red zone, he took no chances.

A few moments later, he stood in the empty stadium. He knew every exit and escape root the stadium had but also, he had analyzed all entries not only the ones for the monitor room but also for a variety of other places of the underworld, combined with Aizawa's handmade map, he now had the map of the entire base and a big portion of the Underworld, engraved in his mind. He looked up at the monitor room. He already had formed a plan that ensured success, but just to be safe he had a contingency plan as well.

He started running towards the closest wall, jumping as high as he could and finally holding in a small prominence. The good thing about the whole place being underground? the walls were rocky with plenty of protrusions to hold on to. He climbed all the way up reaching the small balconies of the VIP's, jumping from balcony to balcony and eventually taking out one of his yo-yos using it as a grapple gun, jumping with no fear, he swings to the monitor room, and with the attitude he had, he retrieved his yo-yo and caught the edge of the monitor room's window. Killua then used his electricity forcing the electrical lock on the window to open and give him access to the room. He slowly slid the window open without making any noise, he peeked inside and saw three man playing cards, -one of them being the announcer-he heard them talking about today's matches and the bets that were made along with multiple other gossips, he rolled his eyes - still hanging from the window's edge – "amateurs" he thought, if they actually took their job seriously, they might have seen him jumping from the balconies, obviously, he had avoided every camera, he did analyze the place and knew every camera's angle. How did he know them? After his fight with Medusa, he went to the monitor room to request a copy of his fight, of course, his motive was to see the camera's angles so he could avoid them, not that they would know about that.

He climbed silently into the room and with scary speed took out all the three and oblivious men. Then he headed to the computers and took out from his pocket a small flash drive that Aizawa gave him, he inserted it into the computer giving access to the hero community, to the underworld's security and installing a virus, a small gift from the heroes to the villains. The various would force all the firewalls to break down, making them vulnerable. After that was done, he took another flash drive out and put it into a different computer, gaining access to the top 'Players' files of the underworld and all the betting information they had on them.

With that, the first step of taking down the underworld was complete. Of course, it wouldn't be that easy, the underworld was like the villain's society, they couldn't simply destroy it overnight. But taking out the big guns, the villain community will come to ruins by itself, of course, there was another possibility, new Players rising. Unfortunately, that was expected, but it wouldn't be easy and it would take them a lot of time to rebuild their community. As for the black market; it was untouchable for now at least.

With the little, unsatisfied information he had gathered, he left the monitor room, this time like a normal human being, through the door, and headed to the locations of his targets to gather clues in order to put them away. Obviously, Giran was one of them, but he decided to leave him for last, after all, revenge is a dish best served cold. With that thought, a devilish grin took over his face, as multiple sadistic plans of revenge formed in his mind.

As he got out of the underworld, he headed towards his meeting point, where he found Aizawa waiting for him. After a small exchange of information and a lot of convincing to split up, the reluctantly agreed Aizawa and the overenthusiastic Killua finally took off, to their respected destinations.

Killua was ecstatic, he didn't have so much action for a while now. Despite having multiple matches now and then, the matches were boring and easy to win, even Medusa was easy to beat, after all, he didn't even use his nen against her. He only used his strength and, in the end, his claws. Sure, she was stronger than the others and he fought cautiously, dragging it out, though in the end his anger got the best of him and flipped his switch on, ending her life brutally. The worst thing, Aizawa saw him flipping out, and now he was a bit scared of his opinion. He didn't say anything to him about the fight, on the contrary, Aizawa looked him over as making sure he was uninjured. He didn't understand why, he doesn't understand Aizawa. Wasn't he mad for what he did? Questions like this were flooding his mind, as he traveled through the roofs, and at the same time all his sealed adrenaline finally was coming out in huge waves. Even if this was infiltration, he would make the most of it.

It took them three hours to gather all information on their targets, and now they only had one last target Giran, Killua, and Aizawa entered the building together, Giran was the only target to infiltrate together, both of them were equally pissed at the Villain for his little stunt. As they entered his empty office, they started looking around for clues, Aizawa in the computer and Killua in his stack of papers, where he found a little project of the LOV.

Killua: Aizawa takes a look at this. He said in whispered tones to his partner. Aizawa looked away from the screen and towards Killua, who started explaining what he found. This piece of paper contains information about one of the League's projects, assuming that they have more. It's called the Nomu project. Artificial quirk installing and combining them into one. Aizawa's eyes widened as he heard Killua read.

Aizawa: They found a way to artificially give people quirks, and how to combine them.

Killua: If they succeed, they could literally create over-powerful villains with multiple quirks to take down the hero society. Killua added.

Aizawa: What else does it say?

Killua: Nothing, it has a picture of a man and his information. He looks to be a teenager but based on the information he should be around your age. He is named as Subject one, Shirakumo Oboro. When Aizawa heard that name, multiple memories flooded his mind, memories he had thought he had forgotten. He froze in place, unable to move. You know this man. Killua stated as he saw him freezing up. He folded the paper and put it in his pocket. We need to hurry, or else we will get caught. I'll handle the rest, as you gather your thoughts. Killua told him as he continued Aizawa's search on the computer.

After he gathered all the necessary information and Aizawa returned to his normal level-headed persona. They found Giran's safe with his most valuable items inside, his money. They took every bit of money he had and put them in the bag Aizawa brought. They would give it to the police as evidence since Killua had already made a small fortune from his fights - especially his last one – they weren't in need of money. Besides, Aizawa was a hero and Killua aimed to be one, stealing it would go against Aizawa's morals, and Killua wasn't interested. "It's not like it's Choco Balls." He said to Aizawa.

Lastly, Aizawa gained access to Giran's bank accounts sending all the money he had in the bank to multiple organizations, like Orphanages, animal shelters, homeless institutions, and many others. Technically he didn't steal, he donated the money, besides it was better that way, if he left the money untouched, the police would get their hands on it, some dirty cops would use it for themselves and some other would end up in hero agencies. Hero agencies already had a huge amount of donations, they didn't need more money, other organizations did. And that concluded their revenge, Killua wanted to do more, but Aizawa forbid him, though he settled with a small harmful prank, installing in his chair an airbag (A/N I just rewatched the Neighbors and just couldn't resist, lame I know…). Where he found the airbag was beyond Aizawa, little did he know his car's condition. Killua did feel a little guilty for what he did to Aizawa's car, but he had a score to settle, and more than twenty pranks to make, unfortunately, he didn't have the time to do all of them so he did the airbag and a few others. With a disappointed look on his face, the two of them left the office, leaving no trails behind as if they were never there, the only proof that they left behind, were the pranks and the missing money.

They once again found themselves jumping through the rooftops, with the rising sun accompanying them. The sky had now beautiful colors of pink, yellow, orange, and blue.

"I can't wait to go home and watch anime," Killua thought, his time in this world made him take a liking to anime and video games. He did like them before, but the anime of this world seemed to be even better, with better plot twists and graphics. Actually, it wasn't just the anime. In this world, they had multiple languages while in his world they had one language. The writing was another difference they had, while in his world Japanese, as they called the language, was his world's national one the writing was different. And lastly, Technology. The technology of this world was years beyond his own.

Reaching Aizawa's hero agency, Aizawa signaled Killua to give him all the Flash drives he had and follow him, staying close to him. They entered the building and the few workers that were there this early in the morning were all looking at Killua, with questionable gazes. At some point he thought that somehow, he had gained telepathy, like this pink-haired guy from the anime he recently finished, it was just too easy to read these people.

They entered the elevator and headed to the last floor, where the whole floor was only for intelligence and infiltration operations. They walked down the hallway passing by a big number of underground heroes and finally coming to a stop. In front of them was a huge wooden double door. Aizawa knocked and waited a few seconds before the reply came, then he opened the door and entered.

Killua looked around in wonder, it was like this office was completely separated from this building.

While the whole building had a modern structure, this office was classic and more old-fashioned, all the furniture was wooden and even the computer on the desk seemed to be extremely old in comparison with the computers outside.

Buff looking man: Eraser head, I take the mission was a success? The man behind the desk said. He was fairly tall and wore a suit. He was bald but had a blonde mustache and blue eyes. The man was gigantic, not just height, he was very muscular too. 'Holy crap, is that Armstrong?' Killua thought as he looked at the guy. He had a serious expression but his looks were way too similar to Armstrong for Killua to completely hide his smile, good thing he was still wearing his mask. The Armstrong guy then looks at Killua, his expression changed a little bit to a softer one. Who's the kid? He asked.

Aizawa: Setchi, this is my nephew Killua. He wants to become a hero in the future and thought that I would show him around a little. As for the mission, yes, we have complete access and I've gathered plenty of information on them.

Setchi: As expected from you. He said with a serious tone to Aizawa, then he once again looked at Killua. I was unaware you had a nephew, how old are you boy? His tone changed when he addressed Killua.

Killua: Fourteen, sir.

Setchi: Let me guess. U.A.? Killua simply nodded.

Aizawa: But not through recommendations.

Setchi: Why not? Is it not easier?

Aizawa: Actually no, the difficulty level of the tests is pretty much the same, but the chances of entering are higher through recommendations, and if he's going to be one of mine students, I don't want to play favorites.

Killua: That, and I also want to enter by my own power, not through connections.

Setchi: I like your spirit boy. My nephew is a student in U.A. as well, he's a third year. You might even meet each other.

Aizawa: He's a lively one, reminds me of you. Aizawa mocked his friend and superior. Anyway, this is all the information I gathered. He said while handing the flash drives. When you guys are ready, we can do a meeting and decide our next move, for now, we're going home to sleep…

Setchi: Get some rest, you're going to need it and Killua, in case I don't see you before the exam, good luck.

Killua: Thank you, sir.

Once they entered the house, they stabled upon the boxes that contained Killua's stuff and both of them grumble at the sight. They had completely forgotten about this detail. They looked at each other and decided to unpack before getting some rest.

For the longest time, they were silent, only a few mews were heard from Aizawa's cats. The silence was a bit uncomfortable. And both of them stole glances at each other, obviously trying to find the right words to say.

Killua: I'm sorry. Killua decided to break the silence.

Aizawa: Why? Aizawa was honestly surprised at Killua's worlds, he knew what he meant by that, but he wanted to see what exactly bothered him.

Killua: For what happened at the fight… I was angry and flipped. Killua said while looking away from him. 'So, flipping his switch, as he calls it, made him more cautious around me, perhaps he thinks I'm mad or disappointed'

Aizawa: I'm not mad. True it was a little overboard…

Killua: I broke her neck, then cut her head and crushed it with my yo-yo while it was still in midair. He deadpanned.

Aizawa: Okay, perhaps it was more than overboard, it was brutal. But as I said I'm not mad.

Killua: Why?

Aizawa: You didn't have a choice but to kill her. Yeah, you did flip, but guess what the aftermath would still be the same. Besides I'm just glad that you weren't hurt. Killua finally looks Aizawa in the eyes, he wasn't able to look him in the eyes ever since his fight. And Aizawa was finally able to see clearly all the insecurities and uncertainties those eyes hold. And all of that because he lost control of his emotions and reverted back to his old ways. Look kid, it was how you were raised, it's going to take a lot more than three years to change your ways, even if your mindset has changed, habits and instincts still remain. We just have to work on that.

Hearing those words was like a huge weight was lifted from Killua's shoulders, after all, Aizawa's opinion about him hadn't changed. In a way, Aizawa reminded him of Wing but there were times that he reminded him of Biscuit, and that was one of them, minus the brutality of her punches. At the memory of those two and his newest teacher, Killua smiled a little, a genuine smile. That's when he realized he was going to be okay, he had lost so many things, so many people, and had invisible wounds that were never going to heal, but somehow, he was going to be just fine. After all, he now had someone to rely on instead of being relied on and having a bunch of expectations thrown into him. 'Alluka, thank you…' he thought, truly thankful to his sister, but if only she was still with him, things would be so much better. Little did he know, even then his little sister had his back. After all, people don't die when memories and strong bonds keep them alive. "You're welcome, Onii-chan" a little girl with black hair whispered to Killua's ear, she had beautiful sapphire eyes and a smile that could rival All might. Killua looked in the direction he felt the familiar presence and heard the sweet voice he had missed so much, only to be met by nothingness.
