Eating disorder

Hunger, that's what Oki felt right now, he was currently sitting upright on his bed and pondering whether to touch a bell that would call a nurse. Eventually he got too hungry and touched the bell. "DING!"

A few moments later, a nurse entered Oki's hospital room before greeting him, "Hello little guy, are you hungry?" The nurse kindly said.

Oki looked at her straight in the eye and told her "Yes, can you please bring me some food" after that, the nurse told Oki that she would bring his breakfast and to wait a little bit.

Whilst Oki was waiting, he looked at his fox plushie and thought 'How did I get a quirk? I was supposed to be quirkless for life.'

'I don't want it' Oki thought while he looked to be remembering something horrible.

Oki waited a little bit more before the nurse opened the door and brought a sandwich which consisted of eggs and turkey. The nurse gave the food to Oki and said, "Enjoy the food, let me know if you need something else alright."

"Thank you I'll definitely do" Oki simply replied before taking a reluctant bite to his sandwich, it didn't even take half a second before Oki spat the sandwich to the floor and held his mouth in an attempt to not throw up from the foul taste.

The nurse who was seeing all of this was flabbergasted, she quickly regained her senses and asked for his well-being, "Are you okay? Do you need something else to eat?"

Oki was about to respond but he just got out of bed and briskly went to the bathroom, he opened the sink quickly which caused a slight crack from the strength and washed his mouth till the taste in his mouth was bearable.

The nurse ran towards Oki and checked if he was okay only to find him drinking water like his life depended on it. The nurse got worried and messaged a doctor through her phone to make an analysis on Oki.

When Oki stopped washing his mouth with tap water, he closed the sink and avoided eye contact with the woman until he laid down on his bed. The nurse didn't know what to say so she waited until the doctor arrived and assessed the situation. But whilst she was waiting the nurse saw the cracked sink.

'Was the sink always like that? I remember that it was fine yesterday… I'll call the repair guy to fix it later today.'

The doctor took a few minutes to arrive but when he did, the doctor was quick to diagnose Oki after doing some tests. "The most probable cause of this is that the boy has anorexia, try to feed him low amounts of food for now" The doctor explained calmly.

"Hey little guy, did you have problems eating before?" The doctor asked.

"Yes I did have this problem before" Oki hastily lied.

The doctor looked at the nurse like if he was asking for something, the nurse understood what he meant and was about to bring something easier to eat but before she could exit the room Kenji and Aika entered the room.

Kenji looked at Oki before smiling kindly, he approached Oki and told him, "Hello little guy, we're here to take you to a new home, you'll be able to make a lot of friends there and all the people are nice." Kenji said whilst Aika was talking to the doctor and nurse.

Oki looked at Kenji and asked, "Am I going to an orphanage?" Kenji looked surprised by this question but it was only for a moment because in the next second he said "Yes, don't worry tough, you'll be fine there until someone takes care of you."

There was a short silence between the two of them but it was interrupted by Aika which told Kenji to come with her for a second. They both went outside the room, wasting no time she told Kenji that the boy had anorexia and that they should report this to the orphanage to avoid confusion and problems.

Kenji agreed to what she said as he understood the situation and went inside with Aika. They wanted to take Oki away right now but the doctor told them that they should wait as Oki hadn't eaten yet. The nurse quickly went outside and brought something easier to eat and a water bottle.

"Here, let me know if you need something or if you can't eat it, you also don't have to eat it if you don't want to" The nurse said before giving the food to Oki. Oki was hesitating whether he should eat it or not but he was feeling quite pressured from the stares that everyone were giving him.

Oki prepared himself mentally and took the smallest bite possible to his food, he immediately wanted to throw up but he quickly chugged down one fourth of his water to feel less sick. Oki still wanted to throw up but he could handle another bite for now.

Oki was now prepared to take another small bite, he bit the food and swallowed it fast with water. The doctor, who was looking at Oki suffer, told him that he could eat later in the orphanage and that he didn't have to do it right now.

Aika got closer to Oki and told him in a soft voice that he didn't have to eat it if he didn't want to. Oki took that as his cue to stop eating and get out of the hospital, he put down his food and stood up from from his bed.

"Can I go to the bathroom before we go? I want to pee" Oki calmly asked.

"Yes, we'll be waiting outside for when you go out" Aika kindly replied.

"Okay" Oki said simply before strangely walking inside the bathroom. Oki finally dropped his act when he heard everyone leave and threw up his stomach in the toilet, apart from the little food that he ate, he also threw up something red inside the toilet.

Looking at this red thing, Oki was terrified because he remembered what had happened yesterday.

(FLASHBACK)

When Oki killed his dad and mom, he was crying uncontrollably on the hard ground. As he was very hungry, Oki slowly started to go out of control, he lashed out at his dad and ripped his body to pieces with his tails in an attempt to resist the temptation but it was fruitless.

Oki looked at the corpse of his mom and at that time, she looked really appetizing… she looked… delicious. Oki finally lost control of his body and looked possessed as he ate the dismembered arms and legs of his mom, his dark black and red eyes looked like the darkness in the light.

When Oki finished eating the last arm, he finally gained some of his control, as he was now not as hungry. Looking at what he did, he was terrified and dashed upstairs to go to the bathroom.

After running up the stairs and entering the bathroom he immediately sat down on his knees whilst he faced the toilet, Oki looked to be hesitating with something. He sat there for a full minute before he inserted two of his fingers inside his mouth to provoke a gag and eventually vomit.

Even though Oki tried for eight minutes straight it seemed to not be working, he just couldn't throw up what he ate. Oki surrendered after that as he felt uncomfortable and was suffering from trying to vomit over and over again.

Oki slowly stood up before going towards the sink and looking at himself in the mirror. When he saw himself, tears started to drop from his face. He looked like a pained monster with those red and black eyes, his mouth was full of blood, the wound on his left eye had already scarred. The next thing that happened was his tails quickly getting out of his lower back and destroying the mirror.

In the current time, Oki was looking at himself in the mirror of the hospital bathroom, he had already flushed the toilet and washed his face. He got out of the bathroom followed by the hospital room and looked straight at the person in front of him.

"Shall we go?" Aika asked whilst she offered him her hand.

"Yeah" Oki replied before grabbing her hand and walking with her to the exit.
