Chapter 43: Have No Fear Students
Hitomi lets out a breath she didn't know she was holding as she speeds away from the Fire zone and towards the central plaza
"Hitomi? Hitomi! You can slow down now!" Toru shakes her shoulder
"Huh? O-oh right..." She turns off the lights and sirens and starts slowing down "Are you ok?"
"I'm great!" Toru leans back in her seat and sighs "What a rush"
"I'm uh, I'm also fine" Ojiro raises a hand from the back seat
"Ok..." Hitomi slowly comss to a stop "I say we split up"
The two others stare at her in shock "Huh!?!"
"You two can head for the exit, Toru you're invisible and Ojiro you're an amazing acrobat, you'll both be fine, I'll head to the central plaza to see how Aizawa's doing and if he's ok I'll see if I can find and pick up more students zone by zone" she shuts her visor for now
"No way am I leaving you to fight alone! I can help!" Toru clenches her fists
"She's right, we're sticking together" Ojiro folds his arms "Strength in numbers"
She hits the steering wheel! "My priority is your safety guys...! If I take you somewhere and you get hurt-"
"Then that'll be on us because we refused to leave" Toru pulls Hitomi's hand off the wheel and holds it "Please... Don't try and do this alone..."
She sighs... "You two won't take no for an answer...?"
They both grin at her "Nnnnnope!" "No chance"
She sighs and taps the steering wheel for a few moments in thought... "Fine... Let's go... You reckless children you..." she smiles despite herself "If Aizawa tells me off then I'm throwing you under the bus"
"We're the same age Hitomi!" Toru lightly hits her arm and has a smile of her own "And as long as it's not the bus back to school I'm fine with it"
"So" Ojiro leans forward "Central plaza first?"
"Yeah, if nothing's gone wrong Thirteen should have evacuated a handful of students that weren't warped away so Aizawa is the only teacher here for now" she starts the engine and pulls off at a steady pace "So with him holding off the fodder Thirteen should have gotten outside and contacted the school"
Toru leans back and watches the approaching center fountain "And what are the chances nothings gone wrong?"
"Ha! Veeeery low" she chuckles "I'm surprised the USJ's still standing at this point"
There's suddenly a huge BANG from up ahead! Followed by a massive rolling shockwave
"Woah Woah!!" Hitomi struggles to control the vehicle as the shockwave smashes into them "Hold on!!" She slams on the breaks to try and save it but... The firetruck ends up getting pushed back and flipped over and over a few times "Craaaaap!!"
"What's happening!?!" Toru grabs Hitomi's arm and part of her own door
Ojiro uses his tail to hold himself down on his seat "Something bad!! Is it a Villain...!?"
The truck keeps tumbling before the shockwaves finally cease and it comes to a battered stop... Laid on it's side...
Hitomi groans as she lays on her door... Shards of broken glass littered around her... "You guys ok...?"
Toru is hanging from her seatbelt above her "I'm... Ow... Ok... Ow..."
Ojiro groans but raises a thumbs up... "I'm alive... I think..." His hand flops back down
"Good... Good..." She unclips her seatbelt and slowly shimmies around so she's sat on her door now "Ok... I'll get out... Then Toru... I'll help you..." She braces herself and starts kicking the windshield, eventually kicking it off the truck
Toru groans as she dangles there "Ok Hitomi... Not so loud please... My ears are still ringing..."
Hitomi crawls out and flops on her back for a few moments... "Ok... Save the pretty Princess..." She climbs up and stands on the side of the truck, then she grips the door and slowly manages to pry it open "Toru gimme your hand"
"Fancy seeing you here..." She chuckles and reaches out to her
Hitomi takes her hand and then reaches past and unclips her seatbelt... Lifting her out and holding her in a princess carry "I got you..."
Toru blushes heavily a giggles... "My Hero..."
"Y-yeah...?" Hitomi blushes too as she carefully hops off the truck "Guess I am..." She chuckles
Ojiro climbs out of the backseat window "Oh don't mind me. I saved myself"
Hitomi scoffs "I was about to!"
"Uh huh" he smirks "Suuuuure"
"U-um... Hitomi...?" Toru taps her arm
She looks at the girl in her arms "Yeah Toru...?"
"Y-you can put me down now... I'm not really very hurt..." She says this very reluctantly though
"O-oh right..." She puts her down and stares at her own hands 'I-I was touching her...! And she was naked! Ahhhh! Bad touch!! But Goooood touch...'
Ojiro snorts "You ok Class Rep? You seem a little flustered"
"Yep! Yeah! I'm gonna go fight bad guys now!" She stiffly turns and starts marching back towards the central plaza 'Her skin was so soft...'
"I-I'm coming too!" Toru rushes after her
Ojiro rolls his eyes "You two are hopeless..." He follows after them
Some snakes look back at the truck "In all seriousness though we should get away from the truck, I'm smelling a gas leak" Hitomi reaches back and grabs Toru's hand before picking up the pace
They reach the middle fountain and look out to see a creepy guy covered in severed hands and a giant muscular creature with an exposed brain and large beak, over by the waters edge of the shipwreck zone... Midoriya is in the clutches of the muscular creature and the creepy guy is moving to grab Tsu and Mineta!
Hitomi sprints out! "Tsu!! Midoriya!! Mineta!!"
There's a loud CRASH from the top of the staircase to the entrance along with a large dust cloud... And from within the cloud the imposing form of the Symbol of Peace himself strides forward... And he looks pissed. Super Pissed!
"Have No Fear, Students..." He rips his tie from his neck "Because I Am Here!" He glares down at the amateur Villains as he tosses his jacket aside
The unnoticed Hitomi takes a step back... 'Oh... Ok then!' Then runs back to Toru and Ojiro behind the fountain "All Might's here..."
Ojiro breathes a sigh of relief "Thank god...! We're saved..."
Hitomi stays crouched behind the fountain and watches All Might take down the small fry, gather up Midoriya, Tsu, Mineta and the crippled Aizawa... And all faster than she could see...
She gasps in horror "A-Aizawa... I didn't notice..."
Toru rests her hand in Hitomi's... "He'll be ok... He's super strong and cool right...?"
"R-right..." She bites her lip nervously and keeps watching...
All Might sends the three students away with Aizawa... Then turns and launches towards the creepy guy "Carolina..."
The beaked thing suddenly appears between them
"Smaaash!!" The hit releases shockwaves through the water behind the creepy guy but... Has no effect on the monster... To All Might's confusion...
Hitomi frowns... "Somethings wrong... Very wrong..."
"What?" Ojiro looks over the fountain
They watch All Might land blow after blow on the monster... But the monster shows no reaction...
"All Might's punches... Aren't doing anything...?" Ojiro stares in shock... "Is that thing stronger than him?"
Hitomi frowns "It must be their weapon to kill All Might... It doesn't seem to be faster than him... So the best move would be to restrain it... All Might can still win this."
All Might dashes around behind the thing and wraps his arms around it's waist
Toru gasps "Is he gonna!?"
"Oh he is!" Hitomi laughs
They both say at the same time as All Might lifts the monster "Suplex!!" Another huge dust cloud explodes from the impact of the suplex! Leaving everything temporarily hidden...
"Did he get him...?" Ojiro drums his fingers nervously on the fountain...
The dust begins to clear... Revealing a horrible sight... The suplex was a success... However instead of hitting the ground the Monster's top half went through a warp gate... And came out directly under All Might's back... It reaches up and digs it's fingers into his sides...
Toru bites her nails "Guys... Can All Might get out of that...?"
"No... If he could he would have already" Hitomi stands "It's... Dragging him down"
"What's the point of dragging him down...?" Ojiro folds his arms and nervously pats his bicep "He'll just come out the other portal"
"Unless the one controlling the portals happens to want All Might dead... What's stopping him closing the portal when All Might is halfway through?" She looks at the ominous cloud man that's appeared in the midst of battle...
Toru gasps and looks on in horror "Th-that can't be a thing right...!?"
"All Might can get through this! He can get through anything" Ojiro clenches his fists... Trying to convince himself
'No... It's true that All Might has overwhelming strength... Charisma for days... But at the end of the day... He's just a human...' The monster sinks it's claws into All Might's side! And his white shirt starts quickly getting stained red 'And humans bleed... And need help when they're in trouble...'
She looks around the area... 'No Aizawa... No Thirteen... No pros... Just students... Who? Me, Toru, Ojiro, Tsu, Midoriya and Mineta... All Might's strength has no effect on the thing so Midoriya's won't either... Thinking about it, the shockwaves that took out the Firetruck must have been from Midoriya' she looks at the distant boy carrying Aizawa away 'But his limbs are fine... So no backlash... No power... That thing must have a strong shock absorbing Quirk!' she shakes her head... "So that means Ojiro and Toru wouldn't be of any help against it either... Tsu... Not so much... Mineta... No... That thing can just rip his grapes free of any surface they stick to... And then there's... Me...'
She starts looking around... Looking for help... Inspiration... Anything... And her eyes stop on a statue... Of the eye covered Villain she petrified accidentally when they first arrived 'Right... I forgot about him...' she looks from the statue to the staircase to the entrance... 'That was pretty far...'
She keeps looking around, looking at the smoking fire truck 'That's gonna blow up... Damn gas vehicle...' she freezes in place... Then looks from the truck, to All Might's situation, to the statue...
"Hey Ojiro..." She shuts her visor and looks down at him "I have a plan... And I'm gonna need your help..." She clenches her fists
"A-a plan to do what...?" He looks up at her...
"A plan... The save the Symbol of Peace himself." She smirks "We're gonna save All Might" she points at Ojiro "Right now!"
