4 Chapter-4 Frontier.

Chapter-4 Frontier.

In space, the border between Jotunheim and Asgard.

On an Asgardian ship, Merric sat with his eyes closed in the main seat of the interstellar warship.

His handsome, spindly face was covered by long white hair with messy locks.

"Your Royal Highness, we have received a signal of strange contact."

Hearing the voice of the ship's attendant, Merric's eyes opened, his pale green eyes cold and indifferent.

"Weird?" Merric asked confused.

It had been a month since the war had started, but to Merric's surprise, there were no signs of suspicious movement on the part of the Ice Giants.

Normally, the ice giants would have already started a war against them and marched towards Asgard.

But that didn't happen, there was only silence on their part, even Borr was surprised by that.

His old rival, Agnar, is not someone who would hesitate to go to war.

"Yes, the signal comes from Jotunheim." Replied the ship's assistant.

"Plug it in," Merric spoke while looking at the blue hologram.

[Connecting… connected!]

"Hello, Prince Asgardian." The two-meter-high ice giant spoke to Merric with an ugly and cruel smile.

"Ruby red eyes ..." seeing the ice giant's red eyes, Merric narrowed his eyes and whispered nonchalantly.

"You are the half-breed, son of Ragnar." Merrick leaned back in his seat and said it nonchalantly. The green eyes stared at the being that will make Odin lose one eye in the future.

Hearing Merric's words, Laufey showed a fierce smile, but soon calmed down.

"Prince Asgardian, Jotunheim is in the civil war, I am fighting for the throne of Jotunheim against Agnar, but my power and army are not strong enough to kill Agnar, and become king," Laufey spoke, showing clenched and pointed teeth, cruel red eyes shining with greed and resentment.

Puffff!

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Listening to Laufey, Merric tried to contain himself, but he couldn't stand it and laughed as unscrupulously as possible. His smile was so full of sarcasm that Laufey clenched his teeth in anger.

"I don't know if you're brave or just plain stupid. You think Agnar would die for a child like you, half-breed." Merric smirked at Laufey and said with a look full of sarcasm and contempt.

"My name is not of half-breed, it is LAUFEY !!!" Laufey roared angrily, and an extraordinary fury shone in his horrifying red eyes.

"Don't waste my time, just say what you want to say and get out of my sight, my eyes hurt just to see your ugliness. "Merric smiled indifferently at Laufey's uncontrolled roar and said with an icy expression.

"Prince Asgardian, you will help me kill Agnar, in return, we will not attack Asgard for a millennium," Laufey spoke with a proud and smug smile.

"You must be crazy, half-breed," Merric replied without hesitation, he never thought that an enemy prince would ask for his cooperation to kill, Agnar, the king of the ice giants.

But would he believe the words of an ice giant? The answer is no. Merric prefers to believe in the god of lies than to believe the words of an ice giant.

"Stupid Ice Giant, I prefer to see you kill each other up here. I'm going to have a great show to entertain myself for a long time." Merric showed a cold smile and said while looking at Laufey with indifference.

"So, this goddess Vanir will be great entertainment for me." Laufey laughed darkly and showed a young woman bound with handcuffs on her wrists and ankles.

If she were a normal Vanir goddess, Merric wouldn't even bother to look at her, but seeing the girl's appearance, his face was covered with frost.

He recognized the young woman, one of the two daughters of Njord, Borr's brother. Freyja, Merric and Odin's cousin.

Although Vanaheim and Asgard are not on good terms, but Vanaheim's king, Njord, is still Borr's brother. How could Merric stay put when his family was threatened?

"Shitty half-breed, I will take your head off personally and throw your body in front of your mother, the same half-breed that put you in this world." Merric got up from the seat and said in an extremely icy tone.

The space around him wavered and a pitch-black crack opened behind him, thousands of red eyes staring at Laufey with a bloodthirsty look.

Even though he was so far away, Laufey still felt that he was being watched by thousands of horrifying eyes. That feeling made his body stiffen. A feeling of fear arose in his heart.

Laufey felt a little regret about messing with this monster, but thinking about the life of his mother and he lives in, a steady look reflected in his red eyes.

"Help me to win the throne and I will free the goddess Vanir, in case you do not accept my proposal ... I don't need to speak, what will I do with it," Laufey spoke, showing a grotesque and horrifying smile.

"When this is all over, I'll be happy to take your head off, half-breed." Sitting in the main seat of the warship, Merric spoke through clenched teeth.

Since he was reborn as a god, this was the first time that he suffered such humiliation.

That feeling of helplessness, he never thought he would feel again.

Taking a deep breath to keep calm, Merric suppressed the extraordinary fury inside him and said in a cold, indifferent tone.

"Where and when."

"Utgard, in three days," Laufey spoke with an enthusiastic smile, he gripped his own fists tightly and an animated look appeared in his red eyes.

Seeing Laufey's happiness, Merric gave him a look of contempt and ended communications. He felt like he was going to throw up if he kept looking at Laufey's ugly face.

"Freyja, just wait a while and I will save you, then I will take the head off that half-breed in your name." Muttering to himself, Merric closed his eyes and began to understand his own divine authority.

A God is born with divine authority, but he himself has to develop and understand his own divine authority.

The more a god develops and understands his divine authority, the stronger the god or goddess will be.
