End of Ragnarok

"Let this fight be an interesting one."

Zeus smiled as Merlin started casting different spells. Zeus could sense that all of the spells were dangerous. Merlin decided to start aiming for the places that Zeus could not comprehend.

The crowd started cheering for Merlin as they saw Zeus suddenly fall onto the ground.

Zeus quickly got up and asked Merlin "How did you do that?" Merlin had no problem as he had plenty of tricks up his sleeve. The crowd started laughing as they saw Zeus's remaining hair turn pink and started transitioning into different colours in a cycle. Zeus narrowed his eyes, he did not feel anything happen.

Merlin began his magic 101 explanation. "I did not hit you. However I did hit you from the past." Zeus clearly understood as he had faced off against his father who reigned over time. Merlin then stated "I won't use it again." Zeus rushed in with a Axe Kick, Merlin saw this and pulled out his sword from the bottom of his staff.

The crowd cheered as they saw Merlin block Zeus's kick with his sword. Merlin was feeing the pain, if not for his absorption spell and superior reinforcement spell, his arms would not be attached anymore.

Merlin quickly cast a healing spell before decided that enough was enough. Merlin got serious as his face merged into an expression that showed maliciousness.

Zeus sensed something dangerous and rushed in before landing a blow on Merlin. The fist that surpassed time, a move he stole from his father. The crowd cringed and lost hope as they saw Merlin become a stain on the wall.

The announcer started to announce the results.

"And so the round goes to Ze.."

"Damn. that was not pleasant. If it wasn't for me seeing the future and placing that conditioned revive spell. I'd be dead."

The crowd and the gods looked to see a perfectly fine Merlin who was picking up his staff. Merlin saw their faces and sheepishly smiled.

"Surprise! You got pranked!"

Merlin had just pranked all the gods and humans watching to think that they either won or lost. The gods stopped cheering as they realised they got pranked. The humans felt a sigh of relief and anger that they had no lost yet.

Merlin could feel the hostility behind those glares. He whispered.

"Save me from their stares Fou"

Fou just turned his head away and hopped over to Brunhilde.

Merlin sighed and continued on explaining the prank.

"So I saw the future of what you would do, so I set a conditioned revive spell with the following condition that it would activate 4 seconds after my death."

The glares intensified.

"Well since you used a move that you stole so will I."

Merlin had created his own rip-off "Gates of Babylon" using a spatial pocket.

"Gates of Avalon"

Somewhere Merlin snickered as he could imagine a certain king vomiting blood.

Chains sprung out everywhere as Merlin cast a restraint spell on Zeus. Even if it was for a split second. The chains latched onto Zeus, Everyone was watching as Merlin skipped over to Zeus before pulling out a marker.

Zeus could feel his divinity being sapped away as the chains fed on the divinity and strengthened it's hold on Zeus. Merlin knew what they would ask.

"That is Enkidu, the chains of heaven. The chains that bind the gods."

Brunhilde felt relieved that she let Merlin participate though he had that irritable smirk that caused you to hate him. While Zeus was still restrained Merlin opened a portal and asked a certain Goldie if he wanted to deliver a message.

Gilgamesh poked his head through and spotted a certain goddess. Gil smiled as this mongrel had allowed him to meet that bitch.

"ISHTAR GO SCREW YOURSELF YOU HARLOT MONGREL!"

Ishtar quickly recognised the man even if he was different. Gil wanted with all his might to fire off his treasury at the slut. However the white haired thieving mongrel had told him it could affect the timeline. Gilgamesh vanished from the portal as Merlin turned back to his task.

The gods looked disgusted and were yelling out insults at Merlin while the humans simply wanted to see what he would do next.

Merlin cast a barrier so that no on could see and faced Zeus. "Old man I'm simply giving you a make over. Do not struggle harder as the chains will respond."

The gods and humans watched the barrier intently while Odin sat on his throne.

The barrier unraveled as Merlin was seen rolling on the floor while wheezing in laughter. The crowd all looked at Zeus and struggled not to laugh.

Zeus had hair, or should I be more specific?

Merlin drew him some hair.

Zeus was enraged and started thrashing about trying to break free of the chains. Another gate opened and a sword poked through before embedding itself into Zeus's head. Zeus's rage had allowed him to bounce the sword off his skull as he stripped and started wriggling on the floor like a caterpillar made out of chains. Merlin found this amusing as he put his finger in front as Zeus attempted to rip of his arm.

The humans watched on for about 20 minutes of just Merlin teasing and leading Zeus to wriggle around the arena.

Merlin had enough, he just needed to settle Ragnarok and make sure the humans survived.

"I think this is enough. Just let mankind live cause they're just gonna destroy themselves sooner or later through atomic or nuclear means. Soon they might wage war over stupid reasons and bring themselves to extinction. So why not just let them live until they get rid of themselves?"

Merlin seeing this decided he would have his way no matter what.

"If you don't agree, i'll have to force you to agree."

A key dropped onto Merlin's hand. The gods and humans watched as he pretended to insert the key into empty space.

They watched as a 3d representation of the world appeared and red lines congregated into the weapon known as Ea.

The gods couldn't fathom the weapon as all attempts of understanding it failed. The weapon gave shivers to even the most powerful gods. Zeus even stopped wriggling just to get a better look at it.

Merlin asked the gods one more time.

"Will you agree to my terms and conditions? If not I'll just get rid of you."

Merlin asked Zeus as he stopped and looked at Merlin straight in the eye.

Zeus nodded before agreeing. The moment he did that, every single god felt something chain them.

Merlin knew they felt it. "The curse will only activate if any of you harm mankind before their intended destruction.

Merlin called for Fou as he saw the fluffy creature bounce to him.

Fou came bouncing down to Merlin and ran to him. The humans thought it was cute until Fou gave Merlin a drop kick. "Fou fou fou Kyu" Merlin furrowed his brows "Okay maybe it was a bit overboard to use Ea but it was for the better good." Fou simply gave up and hopped onto Merlin's hand.

Merlin held Fou in his hands and spoke "We really need a permanent residence Fou."
