8 Chapter 7: Looping of Time

THEY ARE SOFT.

Sandhya's lips were so soft and enticing that Ram wished to kiss her forever. But alas, the Flow of Time around him came back to normal and Sandhya pushed herself off him, wiping her lips in disgust.

Ram's stomach clenched and realized that he was about to use his Powers of Time. He wished it would be Increasing the Flow of Time. But what he used was Looping of Time.

For both of them.

It started with him kissing her and her wiping away her lips in disgust, again and again so much so that Ram was enjoying it at first, but it was later that he discovered that someone were staring at Ram in horror, his hands pointing towards them and shaking their head.

Ram was about to kiss Sandhya once again when he controlled himself as much as possible. He couldn't.

During the next loop, he had discovered the utter disgust and hate in Sandhya's eyes, which were looking at him as if he were her worst enemy. Her eyes were red, filled with tears.

Watching her on the edge of crying seemed to snap them out of the Looping of Time for them and Sandhya pushed his back, but clutching the lapels his shirt to glare at him all of her being.

"I. Hate. You." She spat at him, looking at him with disgust and pushed further back, then slapped him twice.

Once on each cheek.

Much to his dismay, Ram's stomach clenched and Looping of Time activated for both of them, meanwhile the Flow of Time slowed down for him. This time, it was much slower than when they had been riding her bicycle.

Each and every hit to the cheek was slow and agonized and it repeated god knows how many times.

Ram started to regret accepting her offer to step into this world and train for becoming the Worthy Elder of Time.

His powers, which were not under his control were going crazy. His greed for Sandhya had complicated things more.

Ram didn't know when the Time returned back to normal. But Sandhya was still glaring at him, but she was smiling maliciously like a Devil.

"The kiss, Looping of Time and Slowing the Flow of Time, everything were accident. Please trust me. I don't know why, ever since I had sat on that Bicycle of yours, my powers were acting crazily," Ram said, hoping she would believe him.

Sandhya scoffed. "Like I would believe you. You had been interested in me ever since you saw me. I had seen you in action, using your powers to stalk me not only online, but also out in the open. And once you have using Freeze the Flow of Time around you to use this chance to kiss me. Probably to make me get used to it at subconscious level," she said.

Ram knew what she said was true. But he won't agree to it in front of her. He was about to object her, but was interrupted by a guy around their age. "What have you done to my junior sister?" he asked.

"And who are you?" Ram asked.

"Veera, I am disgusted by this creature. Take him to the Chamber of Torture and activate the torture under Time Loop," Sandhya said.

Ram felt his soul leaving him. Images of him stripped naked and tied to a pole, surrounded by various automatic devices resembling gloves, lashes, sword, a long wooden bamboo pole, meanwhile he was standing on a piece of land that burned his legs for few minutes followed by freezing for next few minutes.

You have very active imagination. Em said in his mind.

Please help me! Ram begged.

Who told you to kiss her when you have Frozen the Flow of Time for them?

It's my mistake. Please help me. Sandhya seemed so angry at me right now that I am afraid she was going to do something disastrous.

Before Em could reply, Veera interjected. "That might not be possible for the time being. Few hours ago, all our devices started to malfunction. Chandra had dispatched all of us towards our places and since this training round was the least useful to us, he had only dispatched me," he said.

"What!" Sandhya shouted.

"It happened so suddenly. Our experts were already investigating the cause and some of them were speculating that it could be returned to normal only with the help of Elder of Time. Chandra had gone to look for our Elder of Time, but he was unable to find him. All the data about him had been erased like he hadn't existed in our time in the first place. Did you know where your grandfather had gone?" Veera asked.

Sandhya's shoulders shook.

Veera sighed. "At least you are here. Chaos was about to erupt. If you would be able to calm them down with few words, we would do everything in our power to find Elder of Time," he said.

Sandhya sobbed as she sank to the ground. Veera stared awkwardly at her and he turned to glare at Ram.

"You kissing her and abusing your powers on the top of the disappearance of our Elder of Time had caused her to be like this. You have to console her," he said.

Ram swallowed. "I would like to. But if I were to touch her, I am afraid she would send me to Chamber of Torture of other Elders," he said.

Veera nodded. "But who are you anyway? Wait!" he screamed at the top of his lungs. "You affected your powers on her as well?" he asked.

Ram nodded.

"Just who the hell are you?" Veera asked.

"It all happened because of you. If only you hadn't existed, my grandfather…" Sandhya trailed off as she lifted her head, glaring at Ram with so much hostility that Ram felt like he was about to combust in her anger. "I wish for you to be disappear forever. But since that cannot happened, you have to face the consequences of your action."

Veera was staring at her in confusion, while Ram knew the truth. If only he hadn't appeared and caught her attention, her grandfather would've still existed. And to make matters worse, the transfer of powers had been done in hard mode.

"I am sorry," Ram said.

Sandhya ignored him. "Contact Chandra and tell him that I discovered the Elder of Time. Tell him to meet us alone inside this Secret Training Ground," she said.

Veera's confusion deepened, but he nodded and walked away.

"Chandra was the right-hand of my grandfather, whom he had trusted the most and shared almost everything. Except about you. When he learned that you had triggered the transfer in hard mode, you wished that you had never been born. Which is what I am going to reveal to him.

"We were also engaged together. If he were to know that you had kissed me and that too repeatedly using your powers…" Sandhya trailed off. "I previously forgot to mention to you. Welcome to Hell."
