11 Chapter 10: Saving people and getting the side mission done!

MengYu's sixth senses are telling him to swim faster. So he did, but it's still slow as he was caring a mid age man and a kid.

MengYu is strong but he's now a preteen and also didn't exercise very much.

Just then, someone came running and jumped into the lake and pulled him out.

It was ChangHao, he came out with his cousin to eat outside, just then he hear people talking that someone was drowning and some people try to save but had problems too.

Zhang ChangHao came and try to save people but saw MengYu and his heart rate with up. When saw a crocodile approaching him. Without thinking he jumped in and pulled them out.

Thankfully he was on time as the crocodile jump up to bite, it was just where MengYu and the other people was.

MengYu was stunned in place. Even in the apocalypse, he never fought with a crocodile before, so be was a bit surprised.

He is too weak right now and needs to get stronger now!

"Are you okay." Asked ChangHao as he hugged MengYu.

"I'm fine."

Then Mengyu looked a the kid, it was a young boy about 6-7 years old. He's wet all over, he almost drowned but he didn't cry like MengYu thought he would.

They two people, man and a woman ran to that boy.

"Mom, Dad" said the little boy.

The boys mother is already crying and his dad had a worried face. His father Pat him all over to make sure he's not hurt.

The father ask the boy " LinLin are you okay did you choke? How did you fall into the lake???"

"I was pushed."The boy says

"What!!!???"

The bystanders are whispering gossip to each other.

MengYu stare gloomy at the people here.

So many people and only one try to save the boy.

'Maybe I shouldn't save any of these young people here.'

Then the ambulance came and took the middle age man and the kid away and asked my if I need to go to.

The Wen parents given me a their business cards and said thank you.

I said no to the ambulance and say my goodbyes to the kids parents.

I was very tired.

But I still have 0.5 miles to run...

So MengYu sat down and talked to ChangHao.

"Thank you."

"No problem" ChangHao Reply.

"Okay."

Then a teenager came running at us.

"Hey! How could you leave Me you demon!!!"

ChangHao didn't reply to him.

" oh! Hi there! Mine name is Wang HengBo!"

"I'm this Devil's cousin!" HengBo said as he got a glare from ChangHao.

"Name is Hui MengYu."

As MengYu trying to find this person in his memory.

MengYu understand that, in the apocalypse you cannot even trust your friend if you are not close enough, let alone strangers.

As HengBo chatter away. MengYu said goodbyes to ChangHao to them both and went home running.

His clothes are still wet but ChangHao given his Jersey to him and ask him to go home to change.

MengYu blushed as he run back.

Grandpa Hui is trimming the potted tree so he can run back in when he is not looking.

"I'm back" I said as I run to My room.

"Good, I'll tell Lao Gu to cook lunch." With Grandpa Hui back facing him.

When grandpa trims the plants, he is very focused in it. So when MengYu came back he didn't even look at him.

"Okay!"

MengYu took some clothes to the shower. Today is on the weekend, tomorrow is school day.

He have to go to school so he need to relearn or else grandpa is going to get mad at him as he got his grade down, which he never does.

So MenYu started to study, thank goodness his memory isn't that bad and he was a studies student. Even past 8years in the apocalypse he can relearn it quickly.

After eating lunch Meng Yu took out one sanitize pill.

[Meng YuYu should do it in the bathroom! You need to wash yourself afterwards!

So he did what was told, went to the bathroom and locked the door, Swallow the pill and sat in the bathtub.

As the pain wash over, MengYu groaned. It hurts, but not as intense as when the research cut open his body or when takes his blood out and didn't even use pain reducer.

Then black glu came out of his body and overs his skin.

The pain stopped then MengYu asked Xiao Lan to but the beauty pill in to his mouth, as the system said that it make blisters or harmful things out out of his body so he needs to shower it to.

The beauty pill isn't painful at all, it's like mint. It gives a refreshing feeling on his skin.

Yellow and orange color water-like thing came out of his body too.

MengYu showers again.
