Mended Ties

Claec Forser is the first son of a Dukal house in Kellak, one of the six kingdoms. Given the name Claec from his midnight blue hair, he grows up with his twin Claire and his step brother Carin. He lives a good life, despite his mother's anger issues and his father's general issues. However, he is plagued by dreams of the grim life of a depressed modern teen. And this teen enjoys a specific book, a book in which the stories of Claec and those around him are foretold. So what should he do when his fate is less than ideal? Change it? Or should he just live out the lot he was given, choosing not to jeopardize his sibling's happy endings?
