39 Resurrection of Agni

A booming sound vibrates through out the sky and two heads slowly popped out of the gloomy cloudy skies.

"Is that not Agni? Did Raizan fail?" Sen was still recovering from his wounds and could not move. If not for the Hobgoblins with the other parties to cover him, he would have already been killed or worse captured alive.

"How can the great Raizan fail?" He carried the two little kids, one hanging on his back and the other on left hand. He used his right hand to electrocute any of the warriors coming towards him into crisp. When the ice dome was created. He had overloaded the incantations on the ice cage and the death of Chief Priest Rahul rendered the incantations even more useless.

Hence he was able to cut open the cage.

"Brother Sen!" Kari cried out. She seem to forget she was in a middle of the battlefield and wishes to only unite with Sen.

"If you rescued the prophesied children, why is Agni appearing?" Sen questioned.

"Because the whole ritual is a rouse." A heavy presence of ice aura appeared and the battlefield turned silent. With the exception of Sen's party, everyone was frozen to death. Killed by absolute cold. A beautiful blue skinned lady who was nearly naked if not for the ornaments was walking on ice as if she was floating.

The moment Mailee and Malik caught a glimpse of her, they went on their knees no matter how cold the ice was on the ground. "Your Holiness, Shiva. Your humble servants at your service."

Shiva ignored them and paced herself like a cat walking towards the burnt Sen. "All of these ritual thingy was to bait the Saviour candidate of this plane, the ancients used to called them the Weavers of Fate."

"I indeed kept the saviour candidate of this plane quiet, but fate is whimsical. She decides to fight against fate and come here with another saviour candidate." Shiva gave a glance towards Mailee. Instead of understanding anything, Mailee became more confused.

"Mailee is indeed a saviour candidate just as you are, User." the System replied.

"Is that the reason why you asked me to rescue her?" Sen was lied to again by the System.

"In fact, Feng, Raizan, Kari and Kura are all saviour candidates. You happened to be intersecting them together that was why the system chose you. The Apocalypse lords in the previous planets had been killing the candidates off one by one to increase the chance of a successful apocalypse raid." Nes replied in lieu of the system.

"Oh gosh, another information bomb right before a battle." Sen closed his eyes trembling from the pain. Shiva kneel besides him and pressed her fingers on his chest and the skin that was closing slowly, increases its rate of regeneration. Sen also felt that his magic powers were being replenished.

"SHIVAAAAAAAA, I SEE THAT YOU ARE HERE TO WELCOME ME?" Agni shouted in agony and his face was slightly distorted. "How is that Agni?! He should not look like this!" Mailee exclaimed.

"Yes, you are right. It seems you have accepted the powers of the apocalypse. You looked like need to stay dead." Shiva replied back to Agni with an indifferent tone.

"SHUT UPPP!" Agni shouted with one head while the other head blew a fireball from his mouth towards Shiva as he tried to get into the plane forcefully by using the powers gain from the human sacrifice of Rahul. The flame was green in colour flying at a great speed towards her. Shiva created a barrier which deflected the blast. The green flame fire went burning to the left of her and it melt through the ice.

"Impossible! No fire could burn Shiva's Ice." Malik was shocked. He knew that Agni was of a lower tier rank in godhood as compared to Shiva. His attacks should not be able to do such extensive damage against her.

"That is Voidfire. The same kind of void magic that injured Lord Indra and the other friends of mine." Shiva grew a little annoyed as well to see Agni truly corrupted himself to be with the apocalypse lords.

"Well, you still have us Saviours..erm candidates." Sen managed to stand up and took out a fate crystal for Shiva to use.

"I see, I feel the will of the planes in the crystal. No wonder you were able to defeat Ken with it." Shiva curled a side of her lips as she held onto the crystal and uses its power.

She summoned a javelin as large as a watch tower and commanded it to fly towards the stuck Agni. Agni let go struggling and summoned an equally big voidfire ball against Shiva's sacred Ice Javelin.

When both of their attacks collided. The heavens and earth shook violently, Sen and the others could not underestimate the battles against the gods.

"Sen, your mission is complete. You are able to move away from this plane to safety if you wish to."

As if Shiva can hear the System talking, she opened her hands and said "Give me a few more crystals, I will buy you time. If possible, I will finish this cunning bastard one and for all."

"Well, if I run away now, won't I be not worthy of being called a Saviour?" Sen said bitterly.

"This is not a game, run now, you are no match for him. Learn when to run and learn when to fight." Shiva sternly scolded and her cold glances were extremely intimidating.

'When the apocalypse really sets in, I have nowhere else to run. Besides, If I can't defeat it with the aid of a god, I can really retire." Sen summoned the broken strider turret and pulled out to Feng.

"Feng, can you at least reconstruct the cannon mechanisms? We will try to distract it as much as possible." Feng nodded and quickly get to work.

Sen threw each of the party member a fate crystal including Shiva. Mailee took this opportunity to return the crown jewel of the ice clan to Shiva. "I am sorry you Holiness for stealing this."

Shiva picked it up and shafted the whole crystal into Mailee's body. Her body started to feel icy cold but at the same time burning hot with Shiva's compassion and love. "You are now my proper chosen champion. Serve me well champion." Mailee immediately kneel to thank for her kindness but Shiva refused it. "Thank me by helping me to kill these accursed god,"

Agni managed to pull half of his body down towards the ground but he still require time to completely emerge into the plane. He was slow in getting his entire body into the plane was because most of his believers were killed. His entire capital was ensued in chaos. There was no fervent believer's faith power when he needed it the most.

"As long as I can emerge fully, that pesky ice lady is no match for me." one of the heads of Agni blatantly shouted.

"Then we will not let you emerge! Nes, aid Shiva, take whatever crystals left for your consumption!" Sen commanded Nes and she became ethereal enough for Shiva to notice her.

"I was not able to sense her presence? Is she at the same level as Lord Indra?" Shiva had never been shocked for a long time to see someone even more formidable than her.

"Hi Sister Shiva, lets combine our ice magic against this two headed fool." Nes later turned her head to Sen. "Sen, this is on the house, I have some steam that I have been keeping for years to release." Nes was dying to take revenge against the apocalypse lords for years. Even if Agni is a puppet to them, he was still part of them and he will receive justice.

"Who are you to call me a fool!?" Agni roared and summoned a firestorm down towards the party but a large magical barrier was casted in time by Nes. "A bunny girl who happens to know some magic tricks." The firestorm was raging so fiercely and the impact can be felt despite the protection of the large magical barrier.

"This is a god level magic spell, this bunny girl really a god too?" Shiva learnt not to underestimate her and started to cast her spell. Meanwhile, the ragtag party of humans were plotting something again.
