15 One Sided Massacre

"I have seen years come and go, feats of magic and weaponry. The metal beast that blows fire, I will take it with this axe of mine! So wherever you are human, come out and FIGH-" As the Goblin King ridiculed Sen, Sen took the chance to hit him with a direct blast.. "I do not believe in immortality, there should be a reason why he is not dying. " Sen thought to himself.

Sen was not stupid to stay and wait for the dust and explosion to settle. After giving such a dirty sneak attack, he piloted his Strider to jump down from the cliff. The impact of the landing were softened by a few hobgoblins and Sen took the opportunity to kill a few more with another tank shell. But instead of loading a shell, he started to used his machine gun indiscriminately.

The goblins fell from the reckless machine gun attack like flies, some even burst with blood all over the forest floor. "The replicated striders left a minute or so!" Feng said in the intercom as he hurriedly push in another shell that was enhanced by his hammer.

"Well, I was partially reading the manual of the tank that was "conveniently" placed in one of its compartments while the mobile tank was reloading. Apparently, we can set the machine to auto-pilot and set it off to self destruct." Raizan noted.

"Well, I have no time to study such manuals!" Feng aimed and fired away. The continuous recoil impact of the replicated strider from the strengthened shots finally broke the roof of the house that Feng was using. The entire strider fell through and it got stuck in between two floors. "Ehh, I got fell into the house and got stuck, let me take a rest before the strider disappears."

"No worries, I will initiate the self destruct sequence and find you for a bit of tea." Raizan joked a little as he set the strider to move towards the village gate to destruct. After which, he left his Strider, making sure he had his sword and the replicated rifle.

Some of the goblins were brave enough to rush towards the Strider which Sen was piloting but they were met with death. Unless there was a huge enough threat like a large sized Hobgoblin charging towards Sen, he would not use the tank shells to fire. The hobgoblins that wished to challenge the mobile walker was met with a scene of splattered blood.

The King was not dead from the sneak attack but was noticeably weaken. It was furious that the human did not take pride into a one to one duel. It later noticed that the metal beast was creating havoc in the backlines. It took this chance and execute a long jump onto the metal abomination and started to use hack his axe into it. The impact of his attacks were so forceful that it starts to make a dent on the Strider's armour.

"Warning, Breach near the cockpit door. Door integrity remains at 87%" The strider screen interface was signalling to Sen but he did not care. He kept shooting and firing shells towards the goblins while moving as fast as the controls allow him to. Meanwhile, the Goblin King held as tight as he can be and attacking the metal beast when he had opportunity to do so. It was not an easy task being swung around.

However, the King started to realised the steel beast was not moving haphazardly anymore. The beast was moving straight towards the Village's gate, hitting over multiple goblins like a herd of bulls trampling everything along its path. The Goblin King eventually saw a similar metal beast walking out of the village but it was not attacking nor retaliating the few goblins that pounced on it.

At this moment, a sharp pain was felt through its feet and saw a sword protruding out of the metal beast, pinning him down. Sen had used all his might with the sword that was imbued by Feng to pierce the metal through hoping it does some damage without directly confronting it. Without the strength attribute increased from the System, he probably could not pull off any of these stunts. Sen took a mental note to try to increase them as much as possible.

The Goblin King tried to pull his leg out of the sword but it got frightened by the scene of the steel beast's back opening right in front of him. A shot of fire came out of the beast's back, hitting the chest armour the King was wearing. Surprisingly, it felt pain by the impact but the armour was able to stop the bullet from going through. The King was relieved that goblin magic imbued by the shamans it hired was still working even after taking so many hits from the metal beast previously.

Unfortunately that instance of letting his guard down to check the damage on his armour was the biggest mistake he had made. Sen was quick to react and took a grenade stick from the Strider's cockpit and punched it into the King's mouth, after which he jump off the strider and rolled over the ground and started to run away from the Strider.

The King took out the grenade stick and was slightly amused to see the human ace thought that shafting a blunt weapon will cause any damage to him. Suddenly, the stick exploded right in front of him. Its hand was blown off, a part of the face was partially scarred with burns. If not, for the magical helmet he was wearing, its head could have been blown off.

It shouted in pain and reached to take the last green potion it had on its belt. This green potion was the reason why it did not die. It was able to replenish vitality and recover any injuries it incurred. The Goblin King was frustrated that it had to waste all three green potions that he had brought for the expedition against the humans.

The potions required hundreds of slaves' vitality and the ritual to do it was long and arduous. Expert goblin shamans participating in the ritual can die in the midst of doing so. It took the bottle out of its belt and was ready to drink it but the metal beast from the village crashed onto the one the Goblin King was onboard.

It nearly lost its footing if not for the sword that was transfix to his foot but the pain caused it to drop the green potion bottle. The bottle bounced a little before making its way into the opening of the steel beast. The King tried cursed a little but it never had the chance.

-TA BOOOM-

A huge black cloud appeared at the front of the gates, causing everything caught in the blast radius to be blown off. A huge number of goblins flew in various directions. Some crash into the woods, others got killed by the splinters of the debris near the village gate.

The remaining goblins who survived the entire one sided massacre started to run. What greatest goblin army? The King is probably dead! Princess Zelanie and the other humans instinctively crouched upon hearing such deafening sound.

Raizan managed to have a spectacular view of the explosion and rated it 5.4 out of 10 while Feng was lying on a broken bed when his Strider disappeared.

Sen was not spared either and he got blown into the woods, breaking his right shoulder, spraining his left ankle and probably induced several internal organ injuries. He was breathing real hard to catch his breath.

"Now I hope that Axolotl Regeneration ability is not a hoax." He loosened the strap of the Zinger rifle off his back and armed it with his left hand while pinning his back to a tree for support.

Sen was ready to fend off any stray goblins he saw before they have the chance to finish him off.
