2 Chapter 2 - Identity

Regaining herself, she got up from the bed and began to look around for a mirror. While walking towards the table she stumbled many times.

"What the heck! It feels like I haven't walked in weeks!"

Once she reached the table, she found a mirror. Just as her hand was placed on the mirror, she knew she no longer was the same. The skin on her hand was darker than her actual skin tone! Looking into the mirror, what she saw was absolutely shocking. Her face had changed! Mian Le hurriedly checked herself and found that everything about her appearance had changed!

"This..., so the flashbacks were real! I really am Mian Le! The girl they talked about, was me!"

Shocked, Mian Le stumbled back and landed on the bed, placing her hand onto the jade pendant nearby.

Whoosh!

Mian Le's vision darkened, and she felt herself land on something with a thump!

"Sigh....the one that awakes me after a hundred thousand years, is a small ugly duckling?!"

Who is talking? Mian Le supported herself up and rubbed her eyes. A handsome young man dressed in dark blue robes stood in front of her. He was extraordinarily attractive! The refined features of his face could topple countries and start wars.

"Are you talking to me...?"

Mian Le couldn't help but be mesmerized by the young man's good looks. How could such a good looking man exist?! Confused and dazed, she stupidly sat there.

"Who else could I be talking to? We're the only people in this room!"

Room? Finally snapping out of her daydream, Mian Le looked around at her surroundings. She was in a big room full of books, armor, weapons, and pills! There was also a table near a window to the back of the young man. The light that shone through the window lit up the room.

"W-Who are you?!"

Panicked from confusion, Mian Le yelped out in shock.

"I'm Jue Tian the spirit of the Jade of Cultivation and Fortune, and you're my...ugh...new master. Anyways I'll be the best thing you've ever come across. I can help you cultivate to be an immortal, give you incomparable beauty, and benefit you with resources. Seeing as to how pitiful your situation is, I'll try and help."

Didn't he say she was his master?! What's with this arrogant attitude? Unfortunately, he was right. Mian Le had been accused of being a licentious and spoiled brat. Someone had spread rumors that she snuck out to meet a man. Her family had shamed her and looked down on her. Currently, the situation Mian Le is in was very pitiful indeed.
