A child's view

Mommy didn't come get me again today. What kind of work is she doing. She has been gone forever. I miss her. Where did she go?

I'm staying with Dr. Martin. He's nice and all but I want my mommy.

"Where is my mommy?" I ask Dr. Martin again.

"You will see her soon Elijah. Just be patient." he says as he drives the car down the highway.

"Where are we going? Mommy won't know where I am if I'm not at home. We have to go back."

"Elijah, we have to go to a new place. A new home. You are going to really like it there. There is someone really special that wants to meet you."

"Who? Who wants to meet me?"

"Your father, Elijah. Your father wants to meet you."
