I closed my eyes and don't know when I fell into a deep slumber. On the other side of the phone, the boy looked at the last text receiving from that one person who made him feel this way for the first time ever. He smiled and thought, "good night my love".

Flashback

Shaun received s text from sam. He asked for Annie's number immediately. He instantly replied, "why do you think I will ?".

[ding] Because both of our friends are single and might be ready to mingle? What do you think?

[Shaun....]

He heard another ding.

They might thank you later. It's a good opportunity for both of them. they would not want to be single for their entire life. One day they have to be, right? So why not now. As their friend, we have to support them. For the entire time, Sam was playing his emotional card on Shaun.

She will kill me if she found out, Shaun texted back.

Don't worry everything is fair in love and war, Sam replied.

It's a good opportunity, count me in, and by the way, do Ruhwan like her, or its.....Sam was concerned for her friend. It was all too new for her and didn't want to see her heartbroken.

Shaun texted him Annie's number. God protect him all Shaun prayed about what will she do when she will get to know the traitor.

Sam texted Ruhwan who was busy writing his assignment.

Text her now, do you want help. Sam texted.

Ruhwan was in dilemma if he should text her right now or not. What will she think of him to text her at this hour? Would she recognize him? He had lots of worries I'm his mind but still decided to text Annie.

Okay, let's text her. After carefully typing deleting typing deleting typing deleting he finally sends his text with was only a word "HI".

If sam would have seen this he would have been utterly disappointed. He waited until realized that she did not have his number how could she recognize him. He sends another text message saying it's me Ruhwan. Damn you Ruhwan you are making everyone more and more disappointed by now.

His heart was beating so fast that it could be heard. The thought of her made him miss her more and now it's killing him.

Did she see his text why hasn't she replied yet, damn it's killing me? He was anxious until he heard a DING.

He took a deep breath and looked at the text. He smiled like a fool. He was on cloud nine as he received the text from the one he was waiting for. It was a few minutes but it felt like an eternity.

Back to the present.

We have a new beginning, Ruhwan thought while placing his phone down and continue writing his assignment. He was in a good mood.
