After talking for a while, Annie went back to her room as she was dead tired. After studying for a while she heard the doorbell it might be her mother. It's already been 10 past 8.
She went downstairs. She saw Mrs. Mrunal handing Mrs. Rian a glass of water.
Thank you Mrs. Mrunal, Mrs. Rian said.
Mom, you are late today as well", Annie tried to fake anger.
But mom is a mom. She definitely knows what's going on in their child's mind.
She laughed and told her to come sit beside her.
yes, there was an emergency meeting held by the director, Mrs. Rian said.
So how was your day, Mrs. Rian asked while removing her coat.
Nothing much ", Annie replied.
I missed you, I miss dad", Annie said while hugging her mother's hand.
I missed him too, wait till he comes back I'll definitely teach him a lesson to leave their child and wife behind who are missing him like crazy. He must be having fun somewhere while we here did nothing but only kept worrying. Said Mrs. Rian puffing her chest.
Annie sighed but seeing her mother made her feel better.
Madam, dinner is ready it's already placed on the table.
Mom, first you go freshen up.
Mrs. Rian nodded and went to her room . While Mrs. Mrunal left for her home which was basically 20 min away from our house.
Both mother and daughter had their dinner peacefully.
You go and rest early " Mrs. Rian said to her daughter.
Okay, mom you too and good night, said Annie.
Good night sweetheart replied Mrs. Rian.
They went back to their own rooms. Mrs. ria was very much exhausted she put on her daily night care routine. as she touched her bed she was asleep.
While on the other side of the house, there was no sign of sleep in Annie's eyes. she felt she was experiencing something that she never has gone through. she missed her father very much. even though they spent very less time with each other they have an exceptional bonding.
dad, I miss you, I wish you were here", she felt emotional while thinking of Mr.Rian.

When I read those texts, I could hear exactly how you would say it. I can't explain how it makes my heart beat faster and harder and I'm liking that feeling.
Should I reply or not? What will he think of me? Why do I even care he's nobody to me.
I threw my phone beside me and laid down.
1, 2, 3...9 no way I can't take it, grabbed my phone and texted him with "Hey".
Instantly I got a replied as though he was waiting and knew I would reply.
"Am I disturbing you "
"Not really, BTW how did you get my number", I texted back.
I have my ways... hahaha", came a reply.

I was flustered didn't know how to reply.
[ding] I was kidding. I was just writing my assignments, he replied as though he understood my nervousness.
We talked for a while.

I texted him back saying goodnight with a smiley emoji.
I didn't realize that he directly or indirectly bought a wave of peace to my mind. I placed my phone on the nightstand beside the bed and laid down with a light smile on my face which was barely noticeable.
