"Sehby baby, I never knew you'd look this handsome in the wedding outfit." She whispered in his ear.

He turned pinkish at her intimacy.

"Omygod! Are you blushing, Sehban? You're so cute."

She pinched his cheeks while saying making him turn a shade darker.

"See as much as you want to see me in this suit. Because you won't be able to see this on me after our ceremony." He winked and now it was her turn to blush hard.

"You're shameless!"

"Want to see my extent of shamelessness?" He came near her and started taking off his coat.

She held his hands to stop him not being able to meet his gaze.

"Let's go." And she left the store leaving Sehban alone for giving instructions for the alterations.

"Do you really think it's possible?" Asked a grey haired lady.

Before the person replied, the lady's phone rang.

"Oh, so you remember me?" She asked on phone.

"Mamma..." The girl on the phone sighed.

The lady looked at the guy in front of her and spoke on the phone, "what happened? Why do you sound like that? Did something happen? Did anyone say anything inappropriate to you?"

"No.. mamma. . . I'm coming home tonight and I'll stay for a few days."

"Alina, I miss you. Come right away. This is your home my little girl." Said Aanya Khan, Alina's mother.

"Nah! I'll come at night and sleep. We'll see each other in morning."

"Fine. Do what you want." She was annoyed by her daughter.

After disconnecting the call, she turned and, "Sehban, what happened to her? Why did she sound so sad?"

"Mom, why are you asking me this?"

"Because I know you stalk her." She said unwavering.

"Like mother, like daughter. Blaming me for stalking her." He said to himself.

"What did you say?" Her tone was intimidating.

"Nothing mother. What did she say?"

"She wants to stay here for a few days. I think you should leave before she comes."

"When is she coming?"

"Tonight and that brat said she'll see us in the morning because she will come and directly go to sleep"

Sehban laughed heartily.

"You look good now. Be happy like this Sehban. You make me worry more than Alina does." She said sadly.

"I can only be happy with her."

"You didn't tell me why she sounded sad. I'm sure you know the reason or maybe you are the reason."

She said eyeing Sehban from top to bottom.

"Where's dad?"

"Don't change the topic."

"I'm coming to the topic mother. Please let Father come here so that I can tell you."

"He'll be here any moment." She said proudly of her husband's punctuality.

'I don't have good feeling.' thought Sehban.

"Sehban." A deep voice echoed through the room.

Sehban stood up before his name was completely called out.

"Dad... Hello!"

"Sit." Alina's father, Rehan Khan, ordered.

Sehban sat with his hands on his knees just as a kid in front the school principal.

"Speak." He demanded.

"Sehban, he's here now. Tell us what you want to talk about." Said Aanya politely.

"Mother, Father... Ive been meeting with Alina recently."

"Why?" He asked calmly.

"Dad... I... I couldn't stay away from her." Tears formed in his eyes

"Sehban, you know how it is already.. Alina is...." His tone was much softer now.

"I can't stay away from her. I.. don't.. have... Strength left ... In me..." He said sobbing.

Aanya tried to comfort him by patting his back but he was hysterical now.

"Alina is the one person I've ever loved to this extent. I can't let her get away from me. Please understand that I'm not that weak and fragile Sehban from 3 years back. Dad, look at me. Mom, look at my status now. I can protect her." He said in a determined tone.

"Why are you doing this out of nowhere?" She asked.

"I love your daughter, mother. I can't stay apart from her anymore."

"I did a few things in the past month with Alina. I told her not to tell you both but now I think it's better if you know a few things before she comes here. Please listen to me patiently as we don't have much time left."

"What did you do to my daughter?" Rehan's temper raised.

"Nothing physical. I just asked her to marry me." He said not looking in his father-in-law's eye.

"How could you? You know she's already married.." Said her mother.
