4 part 4

Thomas looks at her as they walk bumping into people and things on the side of the road but

without taking his eyes off her ,as she walks they then get into a bus and he has no pass so he takes

out some cash and hands it to the driver all the while still looking at her ,she sits down and he sits

next to her she looks at him and sighs then looks away after a few minutes she looks at him again

and sees how he still looking at her he quickly turns his head ,she then asks him if he intends to

continue following her ,he says nothing and continues to smile ,she then asks him if he even knows

what he did to her ,he asks her to tell him and she says nothing ,they exit at the next stop and she

heads to the same café before they enter she tells him to wait outside and he obeys ,a few moments

later he hears a gunshot and before he can enter Lola comes running out and he follows behind they

reach a alley then stop to rest as they catch their breath, they hear some people approaching and

Thomas quickly pulls her to the side looks if anyone was following them, then they see some kids

walking pass he then looks at her and notices how close to each other they are ,she then knees him

and he yelps but holds the pain in and laughs ,she looks at him sarcastically then continues to walk

he takes a moment to catch his breath then runs after her and they continue to walk until they

approach a payphone and she picks up the phone and dials a number then cuts it she then looks at

her phone and sees some funds have been transferred ,she smiles then looks at him and changes her

facial expression then walks on.Thomas walks next to her then asks her if she just killed

someone ,she coldly replies yes, he then tells her that she must be some kind of assassin ,then says

and the phone call must have been to confirm and that means the message you got was payment ,he

then tells her that he is rich and she didn't need to do this, she blatantly ignores everything he just

said and continues to walk until they reach a clothing store that she enters she then browses some

dresses and picks up a few items as he follows her and is stopped by a store clerk that tells him he is

not allowed in the changing room he waits outside, Lola then calls for him he then gestures to the

clerk who allows him in and he sees Lola trying on a dress ,he quickly turns around and says that he

didn't see anything ,she tells him to zip her up and he does as he sees her back and pulls up the zip-

per slowly, she then pulls of the tag and throws it on the floor and walks out of the store, the clerk

tries to stop her and Thomas stops the clerk and says he will pay for it and for any inconvenience he

takes out a stack of notes and hands it to the cashier then runs out worried that she was gone ,he

looks down the road and then turns around and sees her leaning against the wall smoking a cigarette

she then throws it down and continues to walk and Thomas smiles because she waited for him.

They arrive at a restaurant and Thomas stops she turns and looks at him then asks him if he was

going to open the door for her ,he then rushes and they enter she walks straight in and Thomas

follows her in she takes a seat at a table that she chooses and the waiter approaches them

Thomas notices that the table is reserved and stops the waiter and tells him to give her whatever

she wants and asks him where the manager was and he heads to the manager moments later

everyone clears out the restaurant and they begin to serve them he sits across from her and looks at

her as she sips some wine, she then takes out her lipstick and begins applying it ,he notice how red

it is like an apple and for a moment is reminded of Alex she notices how he looks away but doesn't

care she then orders and they begin to eat as they eat, Lola begins to question him as if he is in a

interrogation and Thomas answers every question for some reason he finds it easy to tell her

everything even though she tells him nothing and brushes over every question he asks her, she

finishes her salad then orders desert and finally asks him one last question, she asks him who is the

most important person in his life ,he thinks for a moment then without hesitation tells her that the

that it is him more specifically the him before he lost the memories ,she looks at him for the first

time with a puzzled look as if this was the first interesting thing he had said since they met ,then

stands up and tells him to meet her at a address the next day at noon she then finishes by telling him

that she will give him some answers if he makes it and leaves.

Thomas still sitting at the table feeling a hint of excitement orders himself a ice-cream and eats it

while thinking about Lola , he wonders why he told her everything then sighs and takes out the

phone that Steve gave him and considers giving him a call ,he feels that he is getting closer to his

answers and its all because of Steve then puts it down ,he then takes out his phone and switches it

on to see multiple messages from Tara he reads through them then smiles, then opens a message

that he received from Jane telling him that she is ready to meet him, he closes the phone then walks

out ,as he exits he sees a bike approaching him with speed and in the matter of seconds notices the

rider pulling out a sub-machine gun and jumps for cover as bullets spray at him he then stands up

and notices that his leg got hit by a bullet ,he assesses the damage as the bike turns around , he

quickly jumps into the restaurant as the bullets spray once more the biker then stops and walks

toward him to finish the job as Thomas begins limping towards the kitchen the biker enters and

continues shooting up the place and following him as the biker enters the kitchen Thomas keeps

himself hidden with a kitchen knife in his hand , the biker begins looking for him as the restaurant

staff scream and leave the kitchen, the biker searches for a minute and just as he gets close enough

and Thomas prepares himself to attack he hears police sirens approaching and the biker quickly

exits and leaves.

Thomas then drops the knife and strains as he sees his leg is losing blood he grabs a dish cloth

and ties it around the wound and escapes out the back he limps his way to a taxi and tells the driver

to take him to the hotel after which he gives the guy some extra cash and tells him to forget he ever

saw him, he then heads in luckily it was late and the staff was minimal so he manages to get to his

room unnoticed, he quickly looks for a first aid kit and using a kitchen knife after sterilising it

removes the bullet as he bites on his belt, he then stitches the wound and ties bandages around it he

then heads the bar fridge and takes a drink for the pain he then rests his leg and goes to sleep.

Thomas once again finds himself in his mind of darkness and looks around for something, he

wonders why after all this time is back there and decides to use every ounce of his will power to

summon a mirror more specifically the mirror to see himself and well enough it worked and he

looks in the mirror to see himself looking back with no expression almost as if he were looking at a

inanimate picture he then gets closer and reaches his hand out to which his reflection does the same

although using his other hand and just as they are about to meet Thomas is pulled out back to reality

as he opens his eyes and feels the pain on his leg ,he still tries to get back to the depths of his mind

but the pain makes him unable, he then tries to stand up but falls as the pain is too intense ,he opens

the bandage and looks at the gruesome wound "that looks infected" he says to himself, he decides to

head to the hospital and gets ready ,he then looks at the time and realizes its almost noon and

decides that meeting Lola was more important, he quickly gets dressed while trying to hold in the

pain and heads out while limping out slowly.he calls for a cab and tells the driver to take him to a

pharmacy after which he buys the strongest pain killers he can get then leaves to meet with Lola, he

reaches at the café. Thomas arrives an hour earlier and finds a place to scout it from afar as he waits

for Lola to come, he knows that whoever tried to kill him would surely come there and so he waits

with his hand on a concealed weapon ,he is sure that whoever tried to kill wasn't for personal

reasons because the person left as soon as the cops showed up, he also knows that it definitely had

something to do with Lola ,he feels the pain of his infected leg and knows that he need to get to a

hospital soon but cant without seeing if Lola is still alive and so she was, he looks at her as she

enters the café and stops himself from going to her as he looks from across the street he looks

around to see if anything looks suspicious, he also looks if there are any sniper locations and notices

a light reflecting on the roof of a building he stands up then takes a few more pills and begins

heading that way, he gets in the lift and heads to the roof even as he feels excruciating pain as he

walks up the stairs he takes a few more pills as he prepares himself ,he slowly opens the door on the

roof and sees a sniper looking through a scope, he knows that he cant kill the man without finding

out why he wanted him dead ,he looks at the man closely and notices that he has a pistol

Thomas slowly moves forward with his gun drawn aims at the man's right shoulder so that he

wouldn't be able draw his pistol then for the first time takes the shot with absolute precision, the man shocked falls to the ground as Thomas limps towards him ,the man tries to take his gun out but

cant. Thomas aims the weapon at him and asks him who sent him, the man says nothing while

holding his shoulder ,Thomas then takes the man's gun and throws it to the side then presses his

arm with his leg as the guy screams and cant hold the pain ,he then says its the woman who hired

him ,Thomas looks at him and believes him then moves his leg after which he shoots the guy dead

right in the head he hears sirens but takes a moment and holds the sniper rifle and looks at Lola

through the scope with his finger on the trigger then mutters to himself and says "why are you so

beautiful" then smiles and stands up and heads out avoiding the police ,he calls for a cab he tells the

driver to take him to a vet clinic .

Thomas limps into the clinic and asks the receptionist where the Doctor is then sits and waits as

the Doctor comes out, he stands up and asks the Doctor before he can say anything if they can go

somewhere private then follows the Doctor into his office and sits on the table and shows the

Doctor the wound the Doctor immediately says that he needs to go to a hospital but Thomas then

takes out his gun and points it at the vet Doctor then tell him no hospitals and to fix him, the Doctor

then fumbles and starts cutting the bandages of to reveal the very infected wound and the Doctor

then takes out a injection and Thomas then tells him no to the anaesthetic then takes his belt and

bites on it as the Doctor goes to work

after the Doctor is finished he tells Thomas that he needs to rest and should still go to a hospital

Thomas then puts on his clothes and takes out a bundle of cash and leaves it on the table then pops a

few painkillers and walks out he then calls for a taxi and goes back to the hotel .

Thomas feeling light headed from the pain passes out on the couch ,he is then awoken by Lola

who taps him on his shoulder, he tries to reach for his gun but cant find it, she then asks him if he is

looking for this then holds the gun up, he smiles then tells her that he knew she would come then

limps to the tap to get some water. Lola looks at him then asks him why didn't he show up to the

café ,he turns to look at her then continues to drink his water and then reaches for the bottle of

painkillers and finds it empty, Lola then goes on to ask him what happened ,he looks at her again

then says nothing ,Lola looking frustrated walks over to him then asks him if he would like to know

what happened between them before he lost his memory ,he once again ignores her and starts to

limp to the door after taking his things , she follows him as he exits and enters the lift ,he looks at

her for a moment then presses the button to go down ,as they are in the lift Lola turns him to look at

her then asks him if he wants a apology and that he wouldn't get one, he smirks then the lift door

opens he limps to the reception desk and tells the woman at the desk that he would like to check

out, Lola then asks him if he is leaving and he ignores her and walks out the the door and calls for a

taxi he then enters it and Lola follows him, he then tells the driver to take him to the airport and

Lola then asks him again if he is really leaving and what about his questions ,he once again ignores

her and she folds her hands as they get closer to the airport, she then tells him that she is sorry in a

unapologetic tone he looks at her then looks away ,she then states that she thought he wasn't going

to leave her to which he then asks her why ,she looks down then at him and tells him that it was

orders and that she had no choice, he then looks at her and tells her that there is always a choice, she

then asks him if he is going back home and he nods yes they then reach the airport and Thomas

exits the car, she follows him out and tells him to help her, he looks at her then continues to

walk ,she then says that if he leaves now then she will be dead by tomorrow ,he stops and turns to

look at her ,she then tells him that the company she works for does not tolerate mistakes and by now

word must have reached that Thomas was still alive and that she would be branded a betrayer and

has no money, he then tells her to leave with him and that he would protect her ,she tells him that

she cant not without getting what she came for ,he thinks for a moment then decides to help her but

tells her that they would have to do things his way and that she has to tell him everything or else he

would leave ,she then accepts his conditions and they leave together.

They arrive at the place that Lola stays as Thomas looks at the house he sees how it has huge

glass window panes and wonders why she would stay at a place with so much exposure as they

enter he sees the open layout of the house with barley a few partitions, he can see the bedroom as

well as the kitchen without moving ,he almost feels as if they are still standing outside ,he then begins to look around and notices racks of clothing and shoes, he continues to explore as he notices

Lola heading to the room to get something, he wonders what it all says about her its clear that she

enjoys an extravagant lifestyle and wonders if its because of her poor background ,he then puts his

things on the couch and sits down as he notices he can see the room from where he sits he looks at

her searching for something in a drawer after which she turns and walks to him holding a photo

album she hands it to him then sits down as he opens it and starts flipping through it ,he sees

pictures of himself with her ,he then closes it and looks at her ,she then sighs and starts to tell him

her story.

Lola begins by telling him that her childhood wasn't great and that her parents passed away at a

young age and she was looked after by her grandmother, she continues by telling that her dream

was to study and look after her grandmother, she then continues to say how her life changed when

she was recruited by a government agency shortly after she started university, she laughs and tells

him she thought she was special but now realizes that it was probably because she had no one

except her grandmother, she then tells him how she was placed in the home of a dictator as a

houseworker and her only job was to observe and report and that she was young and happy to serve

her country and things were going well until the man she was reporting on began to take a liking

into her ,as she reported this she started getting different orders like coping documents and giving

them high value Intel by using her position as she was able to get close to her target, she slowly

began becoming more important to her target and was given orders to get closer to him ,she

followed the orders blindly even though it felt as if her government was practically pimping her out,

her target was a ruthless man who used to beat her but she kept on doing her job and things

continued like that for 2 years until, and she looks at him, Thomas looking curios asks her "until

what" she then smiles and tells him until she saw him, at first she thought that he was just someone

unimportant but soon realized how her target treated him with respect ,she started trying to get

closer to hear their conversations and that's when he noticed her, he asked her target who she was

and he just said some maid that has been in his service for a while then calls her and introduces her

as Kira her target calls her to bring them a drink and she puts it down on the table ,her target then

grabs her ass in front of him to show him that she means nothing ,she tells him how she remembers

how he looked away when he saw this and she found that to be curious, she then tells him that he

stayed at her targets house that night ,she then goes on to tell him how he showed up in her room

that night and how she tried to attack him and how he asked her what her name was and she told

him it was Kira and he saw right through her ,she then tells him how her target showed up at that

moment and her identity was compromised because of him and how she was locked up in a

dungeon and thought that her life was over and then her target visited her with him and she begged

him to spare her life but he clearly thought that she was garbage and held his gun up to her head

ready to shoot and she closed her eyes and heard a gunshot as she thought she was dead she opens

her eyes to see her target fall to the ground dead and sees Thomas standing behind with a gun in his

hand ,she then tells Thomas how he saved her and how she escaped with him as the country broke

out in a civil war, it was clear to her that it was his intention for that to happen and that he then left

her on the side of the road and left ,she laughs slightly and tells Thomas that he was the most

emotionless person she had met then continues to tell him how her government declared her dead

by making up a story and she decided to stay that way and that she always wanted to find him so

she searched for him and met him once again a few months later she then tells him how she found

out that he was this rich successful business man and began showing up at his office until he met

her and asked her what she wanted ,she told him that she wanted to thank him but he didn't seem

impressed or interested in her and told her that he only saved her because she saw him kill the

dictator, she then tells Thomas how she still followed him around like a lost puppy until one day

when she almost got hit by a car and he saved her and that's when she knew that she loved him and

they slowly began meeting more often and became close, she then looks down with regretful eyes

and tells him that she then fell pregnant and lost the baby after which he didn't want to see her again

,then stops talking and begins tearing up ,he looks at her with confused emotions and tells her that

its okay then asks her what happened next, she then continues by telling him that after that she felt alone and lost until one day a tall man showed up and offered her a job where she could travel the

world ,she thought about refusing it but felt that Thomas would maybe come after her if she left and

decided to take it and that led her here as a contract killer, he then asks her why did she try to have

him killed to which she tells him that she didn't, she tells him that she called the cops to the

restaurant and she told the killer to wait on the roof where she knew he would be visible.

Thomas doesn't know what to think, he knows that what Lola told him could be be true, she did

seem sincere but finds it hard to believe that he just left her after she lost their baby, he wonders if

that was the kind of person he was then decides to stand up and walks to get some water he then

takes his painkillers and walks back and gives her a glass of water ,he then sits next to her and sighs

then remembers what she told him and asks her what couldn't she leave without, she then tells him

that her first kill was recorded to use as leverage ,as a insurance policy for the company she worked

for and that if it got out she would be put on the most wanted list, he asks her who was the first

person she killed and she tells him it was a state turned witness that was going to testify against one

of the biggest drug lords, she then tells him that she regrets how her life turned out and that she

wishes she could turn back time ,Thomas rubs his eyes then tells her that he needs to think then

walks to the bed and lays down and closes his eyes.

He finds himself in his broken mind and wills himself a mirror ,this time he would speak to

himself and finally get some answers and so he does, he begins by telling himself that he is no

longer afraid of him to which the old him smiles and says nothing, he then asks him why does he

keep on disappearing and gets no answer, he then tell him that he thinks that he has been taking

over his body when he was asleep ,then says no he is sure, the old him looks at him then tells him

that he is asking the wrong questions, he then asks him who are you, the other him smiles and tells

him that he is him only clever then tells him that time is running out, he looks at him then asks him

one final question and asks him if he got Doctor Kim Rogers killed to which the other he nods yes

and Thomas is pulled out.

He opens his eyes and looks to his side and sees Lola laying next to him ,Thomas feeling more

confused then ever stands up and gets a glass of water and in the corner of his eye notices a car

speeding to the gate and bang the gate breaks ,he rushes to get his bag and pulls out the gun and

runs to the room, he wakes Lola up and tells her that they have to go as bullets starts spraying in the

house and glass starts falling everywhere ,she tells him to follow her as they head to the garden and

go through a secret tunnel leading out ,they arrive at a car hidden and waiting for them

Thomas jumps in the drivers seat and pulls away, Lola then says "damn they found us" as they drive

once they reach the road Thomas notices 2 more cars pull behind them and bullets start shooting at

them as Thomas swerves and plans a escape, he notices a truck carrying tree trunks and accelerates

to pull up in front of it ,he brakes hard and swerves in the direction that the truck driver swerves

causing the driver to turn the other way and topples the truck and he makes his escape then looks

back and notices one car still after him ,as he is chased through traffic he tells Lola to grab the

wheel and pulls out his gun ,the car behind them continues to shoot at them as he tells her to drive

to the left giving way to is pursuers as they get closer he opens the back door and while grabbing

the seatbelt with one hand leans his body out and shoots the tire of the car that's chasing him and

causes them to crash as they drive ,after a few minutes Thomas tells Lola to stop the car and she

pulls over to the side of the road he climbs out and takes a moment to evaluate his situation then

takes takes out the phone Steve gave him and calls the number, he skips the pleasantries and

immediately tells Steve their location and asks if there are any safe houses near them, Steve takes a

minute then tells him the co ordinates of the nearest one then asks him if he is in trouble he answers

by telling him that he got some answers but that he had to go and he hopes he can see him again

then cuts the call and jumps in the drivers seat, he drives to a nearby car park, he knows that the

police will be looking for a car with that description and steals another one and they leave for the

safe house Lola sits quietly not knowing what to say.

Thomas stops at a gas station on the way to refuel and buy some food as Lola goes to freshen up

he then waits in the car and when she comes out they continue to drive, Thomas is worried that they

are still been tracked as he constantly keeps looking back, Lola falls asleep and he glances at her for a moment thinking what is he going to do, he knows things will just get worse from here and that he

has to devise a good plan, he also thinks about the other him and is confused about how to handle it

he decides that he needs to see a neurologist then tries thinks of a reason why the other himgot

Doctor Kim Rogers killed ,he knows why he asked himself that but still tries to piece together how

he got her killed when he was with Alex, he then realizes that he must have had contacted someone

but how he thinks then it comes to him ,the flash disk he doesn't know the password but the other

him does, he then wonders what else did the the old him do when he took over his no they body ,he

thinks that he wasn't there first then sighs and mutters by saying that "it is all so confusing"

Lola wakes up and yawns as he looks at her, she then asks him how far and he tells her that they are

almost there ,she then leans on her side to look at him then asks him what his plan is, he tells her he

doesn't know she then turns to look forward and he looks at her ,she screams by saying watch out

he looks at the road and sees a deer crossing, he swerves to dodge it but ends up driving into a ditch.

He looks at her and asks her if she is hurt and she tells him that she is fine then laughs, he asks

her what's funny and she stops and says nothing, he climbs out of the car and assesses the damage

and tells her that they will have to walk the rest of the way and in a chirpy tone she tells him that

she wanted to stretch her legs any ways and they start walking as they walk she asks him how his

son is doing ,he wonders for a second then realizes that she must be knowing that he has a son and

wife, he then replies by telling her that he hasn't seen him in months ,she smiles then tells him that

some things stayed the same, he got what she was getting at and brushes past it ,she then asks how

is Jane he looks at her then looks away ,she then mutters "I guess he still doesn't like her" this

grabs his attention and he asks her what does she mean by that, she then tells him that he didn't like

her before in fact he once told her that Jane cheated on him, suddenly it made sense why Jane

wasn't staying with him then wonders if what else has Jane kept from him then tells Lola to walk

faster ,she then tells him that she is tired, he tells her if they don't hurry they wont make it there

before it gets dark, she tells him that they should hitch a ride, he looks at her then tells her "no" she

decides to do it any ways and tells him that she's tired, he wonders if she was always like this and

that he just didn't notice or if she is like this because she is now comfortable around him, he smiles

and thinks it doesn't matter then bends down and tells her to hop on his back and he marches on and

they finally reach a quaint and deserted motel in the middle of nowhere .

Lola looks at the place then turns to Thomas and asks him if this is the right place, he looks at the

place then turns to her and says "there's only one way to find out" and they walk to the entrance and

look around they see that there is no one else there but aren't surprised, they then look through the

windows into the rooms and see that they are empty, they then walk around the back and notice a

storm cellar and open it.

Thomas tells Lola to wait while he checks it out ,he heads in and returns after a few minutes , he

tells Lola that this is the place and they head in ,Lola looks around at the dusty and empty place and

seems disappointed ,Thomas looks at her then laughs ,she asks him if he is laughing at her, he then

sighs and smiles then starts looking around and taps the wall ,Lola looks at him like he is crazy ,he

then stops as if he found what he was looking for then looks around for something heavy and finds

a heavy rock ,he picks it up and throws it through the wall revealing a hidden space he then kicks

and breaks the rest of it by hand and walks in ,he switches on his phone torch because its dark and

sees a door that he opens and smiles, he calls Lola and as she comes through and they see a nicely

set up room ,she then looks at him and asks sarcastically if he knew this was here then runs to see if

the shower has hot water he looks at her and smiles.

Thomas looks under the couch and finds his weapons, he then closes it and lays down he decides

that he needs to create a good plan and begins to think, he knows that he has to get back the

information that the company has on Lola and at the same time he needs to call off the kill order on

them, he thinks for a while then Lola comes out she tells him that she needs some clothing he points

to the room and tells her to look there she finds a oversized shirt then comes to sit by him, she then

tells him that she is hungry ,he stands up and cooks some food that he finds and they sit to eat she

then asks him about his plan ,he looks at her then asks her to tell him everything she knows about

the company, she tells him that she doesn't know much and that the way it worked was she would

receive a message on the company phone with a picture,location and time of a target and after she

was done she would call a standard number to confirm then receive the funds, he then asks her if

she still has the phone, she tells him that it was left in the house along with all her things then sighs

and tells him her clothes too, he then asks her what the number was, she looks for a pen and paper

then writes it down, he looks at it then puts it down and tells her that she should get some sleep, she

then yawns then tells him so should he ,she then heads to the bed and he goes to the couch ,she tells

him that the bed is big enough for both of them, he smiles and joins her after a few minutes they fall

asleep.

Thomas back into his mind begins to talk to himself he wants to find out answers but knows that

time seems to move a lot faster in his mind, he then asks himself if he can trust Lola, the old him

looks at him then smiles and tells him that the first time he saw Lola he remembers that she was

wearing bright red lipstick then tells him that he needs to protect her and that as strong as she seems

her mind is weak ,he then asks himself how should he get out of the situation he is in currently he

then tells himself that the answer is to make a deal and that he should first establish communication

with whomever is in charge ,he then asks him where are they is it his mind or the other his mind to

which the old him smiles and tells him that he learnt a long time ago that to try and understand his

mind is like trying to understand god and that no answer no matter how precise will be exactly

correct, he then tries to ask himself one final question but cant as he is pulled out.

He wakes up and sees Lola still sleeping while hugging him ,he looks at her then moves her hand

and stands up, he goes to the table and calls the number he talks on the phone for a few minutes

then cuts it ,he then cooks some breakfast and Lola walks out of the room, they sit and enjoy each

others company as if they have no worry in the world, Lola makes a remark and tells him that she

wishes everyday would be like this, he looks at her and smiles then tells that he too hopes that one

day her wish would come true and after they finish eating she asks him if he decided on a plan he

tells her that she should go to his safe house back home and tells her that a woman by the name of

Tara would be waiting for her and that she should stay there until he comes to get her ,she seems

confused and asks him if they were going to go together and what about the blackmail on her that

they still have not yet retrieved, he looks at her and smiles then stands up, she stands up too as they

hear a helicopter approach she heads to pick up a weapon he tells her not to worry and to get ready

they get done and exit to a blinding light and a bunch of men holding guns, he gives Lola a hug then

tells her to that she should take a car that was waiting for her and turns to go with the men leaving

her behind she tries to stop him but cant.

Thomas finds himself in a dark room handcuffed to a chair when big man with a scar walks in

and looks at him then tells him that he was going to wish he were dead

Thomas then asks the man politely about the deal the man takes out Thomas flash disks then and

places it on the desk ,he then asks if it was the only copy the man walks to him then smacks him

Thomas tells him that he takes that as a yes and the man laughs then tells him that he was told to

make his death slow and painful then tells him that he was going to enjoy it, he then looks at

Thomas and asks him if he knows him ,Thomas says nothing and the man then tells him he would

be right back and that he was just going to get his tools then laughs Thomas looks around and tries

to break free then closes his eyes and falls asleep he finds himself in his mind once more but this

time he walks through the mirror.

Thomas wakes up in the safe house and wonders what did he do once he let his old self take over

he looks around and sees a note written in his handwriting telling him to go home and a flash disk

on the side he picks it up but has no computer to play it, he wonders what is on it then puts it in his

bag and heads out, he finds a car outside and jumps in it ,he looks around it and finds nothing he

then starts it and drives to the airport he wonders if its all over and knows that he would get answers

from himself but now was not the time, he had to make sure that it was the flash disk contained the

file Lola wanted to get rid of and heads to the airport as he drives he thinks about what is he going

to do once he reaches home then decides to first get to the airport and then he can decide what to

from there, after he gets near the airport he calls his pilot to get the plane ready then tries to call

Tara and she answers he then asks her if Lola has reached there and Tara tells him that she is there

and asks if he wants to speak to her, he tells her that he would be back the next day then cuts the

call.

Thomas reaches the airport hanger and sees his plane waiting for him ,he gets in and immediately

takes out the flash drive, he wonders what he would see and knows that after he sees it there would

be no turning back ,he wonders if he should just destroy it but his curiosity wins out and he plugs it

in, as he opens the video file his face turns white with shock he then closes the laptop and in a whim

of anger destroys the flash disk then ruffles through his bag and takes out his cloned phone flash

disk and looks at it then thinks if he should destroy it too then puts it back and thinks that he should

make sure that things are what it seems before he makes that decision, he then decides that he needs

to consult with himself and maybe get some answers he puts his head back and closes his eyes he

tries to call himself with no answer ,he then thinks if he was going to ignore himself he decides to

try and access his mind palace maybe this time the doors will be open but as much as he tries he

seems to have locked himself out, he knows that even though he seems to have the control of his

body its clear that the other him clearly knows how to control his mind.

The plane lands and Thomas decides that before he can do anything he needs to find out about his

mind for now at least its clear that Doctor Kim Rogers was hiding things from him ,she had to have

known more after all she was the one who gave him a brain scan, he exits the plane and sees John

waiting for him he greets John and is glad to see a familiar face, John asks him where would he like

to go, he tells John to take him to the hospital ,John asks him if he is fine, he smiles then tells him

its just for a check-up, they reach the hospital and Thomas asks to see the neurosurgeon ,as he waits

he sits next to a small kid and asks him what is his name the kid tells him that his name is mike and

he is reminded of his son ,he then asks the kid what is he doing there ,the kid tells him that he is

waiting for his mother who is inside, Thomas then goes to the vending machine and gets some

candy he heads over to sit and sees the kid looking at him eat, he then asks the kid if he would like

some and the kid nods yes ,he hands him the candy as they sit and talk and laugh until the kids mom

comes out she then calls him and he runs to her.

Thomas now sitting inside a brain scanner looks at the light flashes as the Doctor tells him to stay

calm and close his eyes, he then closes it and finds himself back in his mind with himself looking at

the old him, he asks him why appear now and tells him that he was looking for the old him, he

smiles at himself then wakes up to find the Doctor trying to wake him ,the Doctor asks him if he is

okay and he asks the Doctor what did he find, the Doctor in a rush of curiosity starts telling him that

he had never seen anything like it before and that his mind should be studied

Thomas curious asks him to explain ,the Doctor then takes to viewing room where several other

doctors are waiting, Thomas feels a bit like a lab rat as he sees how they are all looking at him, the

Doctor then tells him to look at the screen, Thomas doesn't know what he is looking at

the Doctor then begins to explain, he tells him that this is his mind when he just got in and that it

seems normal but as soon as he closed his eyes his brain lit up ,Thomas then asks him if its because

of his mind palace ,the Doctor looks at him then writes down something along with all the other

doctors ,the Doctor then asks Thomas to tell him more about his mind palace, Thomas then explains

how he finds himself in darkness the Doctor curios then tells him that a normal humans brain neural

synapses fires at a hundredth compared to how his was and that he was surprised at how powerful

his mind was, Thomas looks at the Doctor with a surprised expression ,the Doctor then tells him

that with a mind like his nothing is impossible he could be a Doctor as well as lawyer and other

things at the same time,Thomas then asks the Doctor what about his memories, the Doctor looks

puzzled the asks him to explain, he then tells the Doctor how he met in a accident and lost his

memories ,the Doctor then begins writing something down then shows him on the screen the area of

his brain where long term memories are stored and shows him how it was dark until he closed his

eyes ,Thomas then asks him if there is anyway he can access it ,the Doctor then tells him he

wouldn't know and that normal patients who suffer from amnesia usually find something that

triggers that part of their brain to light but that based on what the he just saw he wouldn't know

what to tell him and asks him who was the Doctor who examined him after the accident and maybe

they would have some answers, Thomas thinks of Doctor Kim Rogers then thanks the Doctor

knowing that he wouldn't be able to help him further and walks out.

Thomas tells John to take him to see Jane as he reaches the building, he heads up to her office

and walks in to see her sitting behind her desk, he walks over to her and without greeting her he

asks her what was she doing in Belarus with the Mafia she seems baffled and caught off guard then

composes herself and tells him that it was a meeting and that she didn't know who the guy was and

she met all kinds of people during her time running the business and if he had his memories he

would know this ,he looks at her and senses that she is trying to divert the topic, she then tells him

that she hasn't seen him for months and how can he just show up like this, he asks her if he needs

permission to come to his company and to see his wife ,she doesn't know what to say, he then tells

her to buy the hospital he just visited and to get the neurology department to sign non disclosure

agreement forms preventing them from telling anyone what they saw ,she looks curiously then

baffled she just nods her head, he then asks her how mike is doing ,Jane still in a state of shock nods

her head then tells him that mike is doing fine, he tells her that he wants to see him and to bring him

back then walks out saying nothing else.

He tells John to take him home and when they arrive he walks in and feels nostalgic

remembering Alex then walks out and tells John to take him to where Lola is on the way he sends a

message to Jane asking her for Steve's contact information ,they soon arrive at the safe house and

he tells John that he wouldn't be long , he goes up and knocks on the door ,as the door opens he

sees Tara who immediately hugs him, he greets her then walks over to Lola who looks happy but

also sad, he gives her a hug and asks her how is she doing, she tells him that she is doing fine and

that she really likes Tara ,he smiles and tells that he knew she would, he asks Tara if she could get

him a glass of water and tells Lola to get her things, Lola heads to the room and he sits with Tara

and thanks her for all that she has done she tells not say that ,he then asks her how was things at

school and she smiles and tells him that she was almost done and that she would soon get her own

place ,he smiles then tells her that she should keep up the good work then takes out a bunch cash

and hands it to her ,she tries to refuse it but he insists by telling her that she is like his sister ,Lola

comes out with a bag and they leave after greeting Tara.

Lola asks him where they are going and he tells her that they are going home ,she smiles at the

notion then asks him why did he leave her ,he tells her that he couldn't get things done while he was

worried about her ,she then tells him that he knows she can take care of herself ,he then smiles and

tells her that as long as he was there she wouldn't need to ,she then softly asks him what happened

about her and before she can complete her question he tells her that it has all been sorted ,she then

smiles and gives him a kiss to which he smiles ,they reach his home and he tells her to excuse the

mess, he then thinks for a second and tells her that she should redecorate the place she asks him

with a sparkle in her eye if he is really means it, he smiles and tells her that this is now her place too

then shows her their bedroom, he then heads to the study as Lola looks around.

Thomas sits in his office reminiscing on his memories, he then takes out his cloned phone flash

disk, he then receives message and sees that Jane had sent him Steve's contact information, he puts

down his phone and plugs in the flash disk and looks at the computer screen staring at the pop up

asking him for his password he tries a few phrases but still has no luck ,he then puts his head back

and finds himself in his mind palace, looking at his old self he asks him what the password is, he

answers by telling him that he is not ready yet, he then asks him what was Jane doing with the

Mafia boss of the informant that Lola had killed and what did do after he gave him control he

answers by telling him that he took care of things ,he then feeling frustrated at his old self tells him

to answer his questions his old self smiles at him and tells him "look who finally grew a spine" then

tells him no answer he can give him would make him understand, Thomas then laughs and tells his

old self that he also doesn't know everything and with all his secrets they are still things that he

doesn't know his old self smiles at him then asks him if he found the secret office yet and looking

shocked Thomas asks him what is he talking about, his old self smiles then tells him to look inside a

specific book and to insert the key exactly opposite where life meets death and to balance the scales

and before he can ask the old him to explain he once again is pulled out.

He opens his eyes then looks at the time, he sees that he had been asleep for almost 4 hours and

heads out, he looks around and sees the place had been cleaned up abit and sees Lola sleeping on

the couch, he walks to her and looks at her for a few minutes ,he then picks her up as she wakes up

and he takes her to the room and places her on the bed and covers her with a blanket then turns to

leave as she grabs his hand, he smiles then lays down next to her until she falls asleep after which

he moves her hand and gives her a small peck on her cheek then heads to his office, he finds the

book the old him told him about and opens it not knowing what to expect ,he finds a brass looking

key that looks like some lever he wonders what kind of lock this opens then sits down and begins

examining it ,he writes down what the old him said to him about balancing the scales and about life

and death and it makes no sense to him, he then puts his head back and closes his eyes for a second

then opens it as he sees the mural on the roof,he stands up looking at it then walks around looking

closely at it and wonders if this was what he meant by life and death, he then looks down and sees

nothing he starts feeling around on the ground and surely enough finds a false tile, he lifts it up

revealing a key hole he heads to his desk and takes the key then goes back to the hole and puts the

key in and begins turning it ,as it turns the mural begins to move balancing the scales he suddenly

sees a wall moving revealing a hidden stair way ,as he begins to walk through it ,he finds himself in

a hidden room just as he had told himself.

He looks around and sees files and journals laying everywhere, he begins picking them up and

starts to read them ,he begins looking through them as fast as he can until he comes across a file

labelled the date he came home after the hospital he opens it and sees times sometimes hours

sometimes minutes, he continues to look through it and sees it written in his handwriting, he finds a

note written subject seems to have peculiar emotions of love and fear with the word emotions

circled ,he wonders if he is the subject then puts down the file and thinks to himself ,he now knows

that the other him had been coming here from the very beginning and wonders why did he keep him

why didn't he just find a way to eliminate him from the moment he came to, could it be because of

the emotions ,could it be that the other him didn't know how to feel ,he begins picking up journals

written from his early days containing information that he had no idea things like meetings and

dates and pictures of people that were dead and files of companies and a lot of blackmail on

important people, he puts the file down then starts ruffling through the drawers where he finds dog

tags with different names on it , he then finds a old photograph of two young boy with a woman

dressed in red and wearing red lipstick, he turns the photo around and sees a line written the scarlet

queen and he two princes, he sits down on the ground and doesn't know why but he begins to cry

as he looks at the photograph ,he then begins looking through any file that has anything to do with

the words scarlet queen he wonders who the other boy is could he have a brother ,until he hears a

knock on the door and realizes that Lola must be up and that he spent a long time in there he

quickly runs up and takes the key out as Lola enters ,she looks at him and asks him what is he doing

on the ground ,he smiles at her and tells her "nothing just exercise" he then stands up and asks her

what would she like to have for breakfast.

They decide to have breakfast at a restaurant as they sit and eat Thomas thinks of Alex this was

where he first saw her, Thomas asks Lola if she slept comfortably she tells him that she would have

slept better if he was by her side ,he smiles at her then asks her if she would like to go shopping

after they were done ,she asks him if he is serious and he sees her smile and tells her nothing would

make him happier, they then head to multiple stores as she begins to buy things and he carries it

even though he was with her and happy, he couldn't stop thinking about his hidden office and all the

information he found ,he knows that he needs to have a talk with himself but is worried that this

was the end of the road he couldn't help but wonder if the reason he told himself about the office

was because his old self was finally ready to take over, after all for some reason he felt like it was

all some kind of preparation and he definitely felt prepared for something as he looked at Lola,he

sees how she tries on dresses he wonders what should he do he couldn't help but feel like he was

about to disappear and if so he had to find answers and quick, after they were done shopping he tells

John to take Lola home.

The most important question to him was who was behind his accident and the way to find that out

would be to open the flash disk, he takes it out of his pocket and holds it in his hand, he then goes to

the office building and goes to Jane, he greets her and asks her when would mike be there ,she tells

him that he would be there the next day, he then asks her if she did what he told her about the

hospital ,she hands him a file and he looks at it going through the signed forms he then puts them

down then tells her that she has always looked after him and for that he would always be thankful,

she doesn't know what to say ,he asks her if she can leave and that he needs to borrow her

office ,she stands up and leaves ,he then takes out his phone and calls Steve, he tells Steve that soon

he would have all his memories and that without him he wouldn't have had any answers and before

Steve can reply ,he tells his that he wishes they could grab a drink before he gets his memories back

Steve then tells him that he was speaking as if he was going away, he tells Steve that he has to go

then cuts the call.

Thomas plugs in the flash drive and before he can decide what to type in to the password

contemplates whether he should, he wonders what would happen now that he can open it, he

contemplates for a moment then types in thescarletqueenandhertwoprinces that he saw written on the back of the photograph and the files open he goes first into the pictures and sees mostly photos

of his son, he then begins looking to the call logs and sees that he received a unknown call moments

before the accident ,he then begins looking through the recordings and sees some from after the

accident the old him must have saved the recordings he finds one from the day Freddy was killed

and opens in he hears the voices of him,Freddy and the pilot Rob and as he listens he hears them

arguing and then he hears the pilot say Steve it was Steve and just as he is about to figure it out a

bomb explodes in the office next to him and everything turns black.
