8 CHAPTER - 8

She thought: "Wait, it's that sunbae from yesterday right? I'm right!! His name is Song Hyun Wook huh?? Wait am I smiling?? What? Nam Bo Young stop." she finally stopped smiling. "Are you okay?" the guy who blocked the ball asked her. Bo Young was totally concentrated on Hyun Wook. She heard what the guy told but didn't have full attention. "Uh, Huh? Oh!? I'm alright. Thank you." Bo Young told while being flustered. Ha Sang and Yeon Joon were there. They were aware of the situation but didn't open their mouths to utter a word. Bo Young started to leave. She was not affected by anything other than his name. She then thought: "Oh my! Why am I caring about it too much? This is not right. I should forget about it soon. Let's leave for class. Oh right. It's probably gym class for me too. I saw my classmates there. I shouldn't have left in the first place." She turned all the way around and went in the same direction.

She reached the basketball court and noticed that the match was still going on. She went on and searched for a place free. "Bo Young!!" someone yelled. Bo Young recognized the voice. It was Ji Ae. Bo young turned to the direction of the voice. She saw Ji Ae waving at her energetically and Yu Ah smiling at her eagerly. She paced towards them. The guys she passed through looked at her in awe. Bo Young sat beside Ji Ae and Yu Ah. "Are you okay?"Ji Ae asked. "Right, you didn't get hurt right?" Yu Ah asked. Yu Ah, even though she looks tsundere, her character is totally opposite. She is a really sweet girl. Same goes with Bo Young. "No, nothing happened. I didn't get hurt. I'm alright." Bo Young said to them with a smile. "Phew, thank god that guy blocked the ball, otherwise u might've been bruised. Wait, is that a bandage on your face? I never saw that when I talked to you before. Now seeing it up close I can see it. What happened?" Ji Ae asked. Bo Young hesitated to tell. She changed the topic. "Isn't the match interesting? Haha." Bo Young awkwardly changed the topic.

"WOAHHHHHHHHHH!!" the basketball court was filled with screams. The girls got distracted by it. Bo Young thought: "Phew, I was literally caught. Even though it's going to be disclosed one day. Let's not care about that for now." "It seems like Hyun Wook sunbae took the game point for his team. Wow, he is really cool" Ji Ae said. "What are you talking about? Kim Dong Hoon sunbae told him to do it." Yu Ah added. "Okay, okay. Everything was done by your Dong Hoon sunbae, alright? Geez." Ji Ae mocked her. "What are you guys talking about? Is it something I should not know about?" Bo Young asked curiously. "Nope. When the whole school knows, there's nothing wrong if you know it." Ji Ae said. "Really? What is it the whole school knows?" Bo Young was very curious. "Yu Ah and Dong Hoon sunbae started dating a month ago." Bo Young was really surprised. "Really? You guys are dating? Woah..who asked who out first?"

"Yu Ah liked Dong Hoon sunbae for a really long time. She finally mustered up her courage and asked him out. It seems that Dong Hoon sunbae also liked her. I don't how he got to know her." Ji Ae explained. "Hey, just tell that you are jealous of my relationship with him." Yu Ah talked back. "Ji Ae, you will also get a guy, don't worry." Bo Young joined the conversation. "What about you?" Yu Ah asked. "Yeah, you?" Ji Ae asked too. "Me? What about me?" Bo Young told. "Boyfriend. Do you have a boyfriend?" Yu Ah told. "Oh, I- I don't have one." Bo Young told. "What?!" The both exclaimed. "Why are you being shocked with my response? When Ji Ae told she didn't have one, you both had no reaction." Bo Young said. "How could someone like you don't have a boyfriend? You are really pretty and your personality is also the same. It's unbelievable." Ji Ae added.

"I'm not interested too. Who is that? I'm seeing this face again." Bo Young told and tried to change the topic. "Don't change the-" Ji Ae was interrupted. "Hey, Ji Ae it's, it's Yeong Hyun." Yu Ah was stuttering. Bo Young was puzzled in between them. "Huh? Yeong Hyun? Which Yeong Hyun." Ji Ae asked. "Hey! Don't talk as if there are many Yeong Hyun. Lim Yeong Hyun! Your Lim Yeong Hyun." Yu Ah kept pulling Ji Ae back and forth. "WHAT????!! Yeong Hyun is back? Where?" Ji Ae told very shockingly. "There! There! Can you see?" Yu Ah pointed her hand. "Right. He was the one I asked. I saw him many times today." Bo Young told. "What??!" Ji Ae and Yu Ah shouted chorally. "Why?? Is there something wrong?" Bo Young asked being scared. "Why didn't you tell earlier?" Ji Ae asked. "Well, I did ask earlier. By the way, 'your' Yeong Hyun?" Bo Young told. "Huh? Oh, that is.." Ji Ae told but hesitated and looked at Yu Ah. "If it's something I should not know, it's okay, I will forget about it. You don't have to tell me." Bo Young assured them. "It's nothing like that. Nobody knows it except me. That was why she was hesitant. She will tell you." Yu Ah told Bo Young. "Ah, it's-it's that we have been close since elementary school, since then I like him." Ji Ae told. "Woah, I've never seen a situation like this. Are you guys really close now too? How did you never show it to him?" Bo Young told really surprised.

"We are really close but after he joined the IT guys, he hasn't been talking to me much but we wave and smile at each other we we pass by. If we have a chance we would talk, but I don't think that is possible." Ji Ae told and smiled. Bo Young could see that she was hurt and was having a fake smile. "Things will get better, don't worry." Bo Young held and squeezed her hand. "Woaaaaahhh" the students screamed. The girls got startled. "Why, what happened?" Yu Ah asked. "I don't know." Ji Ae told. "What has happened?" Bo Young asked the student beside her. "Oh, The sunbae team won the game." The student said. "Oh, okay." Bo Young said. "Yay!! Hooray!!" Yu Ah exclaimed. "Did you forget that we should support our grade boys?" Ji Ae asked her. "That 'we' is only suitable for you girls. I am always on the sunbae team's side. I'm going to meet him, see you guys later." Yu Ah told and went down the stairs. "Yu Ah, wait, What about us!?" Ji Ae shouted at her as she went. Yu Ah just waved her hand and left. "What is wrong with her?" Ji Ae pouted. Bo Young giggled in silence. "Oh! Is Yu Ah calling us?" Ji Ae asked. Bo Young looked at Yu Ah. "Right, she is waving at us but does that mean she is calling us or she is leaving without us?" Bo Young asked. "Yeah...it's confusing." Ji Ae told. Yu Ah came running to them. "Oh, she's running towards us." Bo Young told. "Guys, come with me." Yu Ah told with a bright smile in her face.

"Why? What is it?" Ji Ae asked. "The sunbae team won right, he is treating us." Yu Ah told very excitedly. "What?!?! He is treating us? Not you alone but us?! Woah!! So touching. You boyfriend is the best." Ji Ae told happily. Bo Young was the only one confused but still she went with the flow. Yu Ah grabbed both of their hands and rushed. They went and stood before them. "Congratulations on your win sunbae and thank you so much for willing to treat us." Ji Ae said. She was extremely happy. "It's alright. Oh, it's a new face." Dong Hoon said. "Oh, I forgot to introduce her. She is Nam Bo Young. She joined yesterday. She is our new friend." Yu Ah introduced. "Hello." Bo Young bowed and told. "Oh, there is no need to bow. So shall we leave?" Dong Hoon asked.

"Yeah, sure." Ji Ae told. Yu Ah linked her arms with Dong Hoon and went forward. With Dong Hoon there was another one. It was Hyun Wook. Bo Young was talking with Ji Ae. She made a sudden eye contact with Hyun Wook. Her heart was racing again. She bowed to him. He bowed back and proceeded. The went to the convenience store nearby and bought some ttokbeokki and some cup noodles. They found a table free and went there. They sat down. Dong Hoon and Yu Ah sat together, Ji Ae sat in the single chair which was near her. Bo Young sat beside Ji Ae which had two chairs. Someone sat beside her. It was Hyun Wook. Her eyes were opened widely. Hyun Wook didn't find it uneasy to sit beside her. Bo Young looked at Ji Ae and did weird facial expressions. She looked at Ji Ae, then looked at herself and then moved her eyes to Hyun Wook. Ji Ae found it weird. Ji Ae raised her eyebrows being confused. Bo Young elaborated what she did before. But still Ji Ae couldn't understand. "Can we join you guys too?" Someone interrupted. "Oh, you guys want to join us? If you want to, then sure." Dong Hoon told. They all turned to look who it was. It was Ha Sang, Yeon Joon and Yeong Hyun. Bo Young thought: "Huh? Why does it have to be these guys at this time? What? Dong Hoon sunbae is allowing them? No, please don't. Wait, first let me tell Ji Ae to sit near me. It is so awkward."

Bo Young then looked at Ji Ae and did the same. Ji Ae then understood and then mouthed okay. "Hyun Wook sunbae, you can sit here. I'll sit beside Bo Young." Ji Ae told. Hyun Wook nodded and switched their seats. Bo Young made a relief sigh, she then looked at Ji Ae and made a finger heart. Ji Ae then smiled lightly. Bo Young could sense something wrong with Ji Ae. Bo Young then figured it out that it was because of Yeong Hyun. Ji Ae and Yeong Hyun smiled at each other but no other interaction was there in between them. Bo Young could see that Ji Ae was disturbed. "Ouch, my back pains Yeon Joon. What will be the reason~~?" Ha Sang mocked. "My face is also damaged. I think the reason is..." Yeon Joon told and slowly turned his head. "Will you both shut up?" Bo Young told and glared at them. Ha Sang and Yeon Joon got goosebumps. "Why? What is it?" Yu Ah asked. "So, shall I add some chairs here?" Ha Sang asked. "Wouldn't it be suffocating?" Yeong Hyun told.

"There is some room for three of us to sit." Ha Sang told and dragged some chairs from the next table. "What do you guys wanna eat?" Dong Hoon asked. "We have also asked for cup noodles. We will eat soon. It's in the bag with Yeong Hyun." Ha Sang told. Yeong Hyun held the bag to show everyone else. "Congratulations in winning the match sunbae. Yeong Hyun go and fill water in the cup noodles." Yeon Joon told. Yeong Hyun nodded his head and went. Bo Young pinched Ji Ae's hand. "Ouch." Ji Ae cried. Everyone looked at her. "Mosquitoes." Ji Ae told to divert them. Everyone else started to talk. "What is it?" Ji Ae whispered. "This is your chance. Yeong Hyun went alone. You should go and 'help' him. Go use your chance. You won't know when there will be another chance. Go! Hurry!" Bo Young rushed her. Ji Ae left a heavy breath. "Excuse me for now guys, I will be back." Ji Ae left. Bo Young started smiling. Yu Ah looked at Bo Young as she was smiling. Yu Ah slowly understood what was happening. Bo Young turned to take a look at Yu Ah, she saw Yu Ah was already smiling. They made an eye contact, Yu Ah made a thumbs up. Bo Young winked back.

"Yeon Joon, what's that on your face? It looks like a wound." Dong Hoon asked. Bo Young turned to look at his face. It really was a wound. She looked at him while he did too. She was making a sorry face. She thought: "It's an injury caused by me. It's because I punched him. It is so minute and small. But still it looks like it hurts. He should not tell that it was me. Well, he might-" "It was a pimple." Yeon Joon told. Bo Young thought: "He isn't saying that I was the reason? It's the second time he is doing that. But last time he failed. Never mind that. But what's with this lame reason?" "Why are you lying? Say that yesterday we got into a fight." Ha Sang declared. Bo Young thought: "There he goes again. Same like the previous day, trying to disclose everything. I guess my dignity is going to be smashed." "You guys fought? With whom? Each other?" Yu Ah asked.

"Nope we didn't fight with each other. We-." Ha Sang was cut off. "We are here." Yeong Hyun said. Near him Ji Ae was also coming. She was smiling brightly. Bo Young thought: "Phew, thank God, they both saved me." "Ooo, the ramen is cooked well. It looks good." Yeon Joon said. They all ate well. They walked together to class. "Ok, bye we will see you later. Now go to your classes." Dong Hoon told. "Yes sunbae. Thank you so much for your treat. We enjoyed it well." Ji Ae told. Bo Young just smiled the whole time. Her eyes kept going to Hyun Wook. But when he found her staring at him, she looked away. She didn't know whether she liked him or not. She couldn't describe it. "Dong Hoon oppa, text me if we are going to meet somewhere. Thank you." Yu Ah said. "Ok, sure. So, now we will get going. Let's go Hyun Wook. Bye guys." Dong Hoon Said. Hyun Wook just nodded and left.

"Then I'll get going to my class. Bye guys. Let's meet at the gate after school." Yu Ah told Bo Young and Ji Ae. Ji Ae and Bo Young waved their hand. Yu Ah left. "I will get going with Yeong Hyun. See ya later Ha Sang." Yeon Joon told. "Um, Ji Ae, see you soon." Yeong Hyun said to Ji Ae. Ji Ae just looked at him and smiled. They both left. "Yeah, I totally forgot about that. I see something is going on Huh? What is it~~~." Bo Young asked eagerly. "That is..I will tell you later. Now I have somewhere to go. Leave without me for now. I will join you soon. Bye!" Ji Ae told and left somewhere. "Hey! Don't leave me like that!!" Bo Young told her. Ji Ae showed a peace sign while running towards somewhere. Bo Young turned to go, Ha Sang was standing there looking at her. She then realised that they both were the last ones to leave. Bo Young was creeped out in the expression he had. "What are you looking at?" Bo Young asked glaring at him, hands folded. She always had her hands folded.

"What?! It's my eyes, I can look at anywhere I want. Why do you bother?" Ha Sang asked. "Do you know about what kind of a person you are sounding like?" Bo Young told and looked at him in an intimidating look. He shut his mouth and started walking. Bo Young also started walking. They went off like that without any chat. Bo Young thought: "I feel so comfortable with Ji Ae and Yu Ah. I hope they are comfortable with me being myself. But how did I get so comfortable in talking with them without being cold and shy. Well, I guess that is my personality. Damn, I don't even know my personality well." She reached the class just thinking about that.

School ended even faster than she thought. The only thing she had in her mind was what happened with Ji Ae and Yeong Hyun. She was always interested in her friends and family love stories than herself. As soon as she exited the class, she stood at the door and looked at Ji Ae eagerly. "Ji Ae, you didn't tell me what happened. I'm dying of curiosity." Bo Young said. "Ouch." Bo Young whimpered. Someone bumped into her. Bo Young and Ji Ae turned to look at. It was Ha Sang. "That bastard really! Yang Ha Sang! Are you out of your mind? You bump into someone and never ask sorry?" Bo Young scolded him. He stopped. He turned to leave a smirk and left. "That son-" Bo Young told. "Alright, alright. Many girls are waiting for him to just look at them, while he is bumping into you voluntarily. Be happy." Ji Ae told. "Tsk. Why should I be happy if he bumps into me. I hate it. Okay never mind. Now-" Bo Young was pushed by a group full of girls even though she was standing in the corner. She lost her balance and fell down. "Hey!!!! IDIOTS!!" She yelled at them. It was the HF girls. They all went behind him while Soo Ki went behind him calling him. "Bo Young, are you okay?" Ji Ae asked. She reached out but before that someone else came to help. Bo Young thought: "These punks!! Aaaaah SO IRRITATING!! THYE ARE JUST RUSHING TO CATCH UP WITH ANOTHER BASTARD!" "Are you okay?" Someone asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks." Bo Young told and looked up to look at. She thought: "Oh? This face?"
