6 CHAPTER - 6
A notification popped up. The person saw the message and uttered, "Im already here." The person who told that was the 'sunbae'. Yeon Joon asked, "Sunbae, did you tell something now?" The sunbae replied, "Oh, nothing. What are you guys doing here??" Ha Sang told, "We came here to get something. Same question goes to you. Why are you here?" The sunbae told, "I came here to work." Yeon Joon told, "Are you working part-time here?" The sunbae told, "Yeah." Ha Sang told, "Sunbae, are you a robot? You just tell one line or word and don't talk anything else. With your cold face it's even more scarier. Smile at times, it will make you look good even more. Yeon Joon, let's go." Yeon Joon told, "See you later sunbae!" while patting his shoulder and went.
Bo Young reached her home. The house owner was still there looking at her phone. She was young. Bo Young told, "Hello?" The house owner turned and told, "Oh, Nam Bo Young?" Bo Young nodded and opened the door. They both entered the house. Bo Young smiled and told, "Welcome, please take a seat." The house owner told, "Ooh, you are maintaining your place beautifully. By the way, I'm Park Eun Mi. I and Seul Hee are really close friends. She has talked a lot about you. Like really a lot." Bo Young asked, "Oh really?" Eun Mi told, "Yeah, she keeps talking about you and blah blah...." Eun Mi just kept on talking. She sounded to be a really outgoing and cheerful person. She talked everything about her and didn't let Bo Young speak anything. Bo Young was only giving reactions, which was awkward too. Finally Eun Mi told, "Bo Young, why aren't you speaking anything? By the way you are really pretty. It is making me to keep starting at you." Bo Young told, "Thank you." And then thought: "Woah she is really talkative. Even Hee unnie doesn't talk like this. I don't know how they both became friends in the first place. She is weird too. 'Making me want to keep staring at you' is she in a normal condition?"
She zoned out again. Eun Mi woke her, "Bo Young, are you okay?" Bo Young told, "Oh, yes." Eun Mi's phone rang. She attended the call, "Yeah, why?" the person in the phone told, "Father told we had a family dinner by 6 right. Now it's 5.45. We don't have time. I asked the maid where you were and I came all the way here. Hurry up!" Eun Mi replied, "Okay, okay stop shouting, did you forget that I'm older than you. I'm leaving, wait for a while." Eun Mi hung up the call and told, "Im sorry, but I have somewhere to be, even I forgot. Time flew talking to you. Nice meeting you. Bye!!" she rushed. Bo Young also stood up in a hurry and told, "Ye, yeah. Shall I see you leave??" Eun Mi told, "No no it's okay. Bye." Bo Young told, "Bye, be careful on you way!!"
Bo Young sighed. She was thinking: "OMG. It was so tiring today. Why did today have to go so slowly. Like really slow. I want to sleep. I hope tomorrow doesn't go the same as today. First of all, why did I have to run into those fellows? I don't want to get to know them too." Her notification popped. She looked at it. It was from Seul Hee. The message read; "I heard Eun Mi came to check out." Bo Young replied to the text; "Yeah, you never told me you and the house owner were friends." Seul Hee replied; "Oh, Yeah we are close friends. She is from a big family. She was so genuine to provide such a nice flat for a lesser price." Bo Young replied; "Oh, Really? that's nice." Seul Hee replied; "Yeah I know right. Ok, so how was your first day of your new school?" Bo Young sent a tired emoji and replied; "Omg, don't start that topic again Hee unnie." Seul Hee replied; "Why? Was it bad?" Bo Young replied; "More than the word bad, I would use tiresome and pointless. Shall I tell you everything?" Seul Hee replied, "Woah, you must have had a really long day huh? I'm ready to hear it. Wait, I will call you." Just after she sent the text she called her.
The both talked endlessly. After getting it all off her chest, Seul Hee told, "Oh, my , God. Just hearing this made me tired. I wonder how tired you must." Bo Young told, "I know right. Oh, I talked with someone today." Seul Hee asked, "Who? Someone in school? Is it a boy or a girl?" Bo Young told, "Unnie, take it slow. It's someone I met in the part time job. It's a girl, so don't get your hopes up high." Seul Hee told, "Oh, it's a girl? I'm not interested then. Were you at least attracted to some of the guys you bumped into?" Bo Young thought for a while: "Attracted? Everybody was handsome but no-" Seul Hee exclaimed in the phone, "Oh, it's already 9. We will talk later. You have school tomorrow. Good night." Bo Young told, "Oh, okay. Good night Hee unnie." They hung up the call. Bo Young thought: "Thank God I escaped. Before realising anything I would have told her that there was somebody. They called him sunbae though. Let's not imagine something and make myself be in a situation I don't want." She went to sleep, hoping tomorrow won't be the same like today.
*Beep beep* *Beep Beep* her alarm started to ring. She stopped it and sat down and told, "It is morning already? I just slept." She got ready for her school and went to the bus stop. She had more time left, she thought: "Don't fall asleep in the bus or else you'll miss your stop. Hear some upbeat song and stay awake!" She didn't fall asleep successfully. She got down and started to walk towards the school. After reaching the school the only thought that came into her mind was: "Thank God, I didn't bump into those people. I think it is happening as I thought. It won't be the same like yesterday hereafter." She changed the genre of her songs to R&B and went on walking. She reached the class. She saw her table and chair lying there in the corner as lonely as a white crayon. As soon as she sat she laid down and closed her eyes for a bit. The students were all so chatty that she couldn't nap for a bit.
She gave up and started gazing out of the window. She got immersed into the view and music. She couldn't hear anything else. "Nam Bo Young!!" someone told loudly. Bo Young was startled by the noise. She took off her earphones and turned to look. It was a girl, she had a cold look in her face. She asked Bo Young, "How dare you hurt Yeon Joon!" Bo Young was confused, she asked, "Huh?" the girl broke into a very bright smile and told, "I was just playing with you. You might've faced a lot of problems because of yesterday's incident right." Bo Young told, "Oh? Phew, you scared me. How did you know about that?" The girl told, "How could anyone not know that, just on your first day you became the hot news. By the way, you are really pretty. Did they bother you so much?" Bo Young told, "Thank you. They? Who are you referring to?" The girl then told, "The HF girls." Bo Young told, "Oh them? They didn't bother me. They told they would leave me go. I don't care." The girl replied, "Woah, really? You are so cool."
"Kang Ji Ae!! Where were you? Oh, isn't she the HYJ girl?" Bo Young asked, "HYJ??" The girl told, "Oh shoot, I forgot to introduce me. I'm Kang Ji Ae. Nice to meet you." The other girl told, "HYJ is an acronym of 'Hurt Yeon Joon'. You didn't know that?" Bo Young told, "Really? I didn't know that. Do things spread so fast?" Ji Ae told, "Normal news doesn't spread fast. News that involves the IT boys spread fast. Oh, and she is Jo Yu Ah." Bo Young asked, "IT boys, is it Information Technology?" Ji Ae told, " No, IT stands for Idol Trainee boys. There are many other trainees. But these boys are those who are training under the really big agencies." Bo Young asked, "You guys use a lot of acronyms right?" Ji Ae told, "Yeah, shall I tell you about the HF girls?" Yu Ah told, "Ok, ok stop. You are making her feel bored. The bell is going to ring. I better go to my class. See you later."and left.
Bo Young asked, "Is she from other class?" Ji Ae told, "Yeah, she is from the next class, she-" The bell rang. Ji Ae told, "I will talk to you later." And went to her seat. Miss.Han came inside. Everyone became quite. Miss. Han told, "So, did everyone think of what I told yesterday?" The students replied chorally, "Yes Miss.Han." Bo Young was confused. She thought: "She told something yesterday? I don't remember anything. Was it when I went to the infirmary?" Miss.Han told, "Can I hear the candidates name?" Bo Young was in endless thoughts , she thought again: "Candidates? For what? Omg, it's all because of those idiots." She wasn't listening to the class. Miss. Han asked, "You guys might have discussed together. Tell me the first candidate's name." Half of the class shouted, "NAM BO YOUNG!" Bo Young was startled. She looked at everyone puzzled. Miss. Han told, "Oh, Bo Young it is just your second day and everyone wants you to be the class president." Bo Young thought: "Class president? The students want me to be a candidate for class president?" The boys and the girls looked in awe at her. The boys were looking at her even more intensely.
The HF girls entered the class. Miss.Han told, "Stop being late to the class guys." They chorally told, "Yeah, we are sorry." They proceeded to sit down. Bo Young ignored them, and they did too. Miss. Han turned to the board and wrote Bo Young's name. Soo ki asked the next girl, "Why is she writing her name in the board?" The student told, "It's for electing the class president." Soo Ki exclaimed, "Really?" And glared at Bo Young scarily. Sang Sun told, "Why did they choose her? Every time, they choose our Soo Ki right. It's been only a day since she joined." The girls glared at her. Bo Young knew that they were staring at her, and talking about her. Rae Bin continued, "Adding to that, she is the HYJ girl, and still they choose her." They kept on blabbering things. Bo Young got really mad and turned to glare at them. When Bo Young gets angry and cold, her face becomes the scariest. As soon as she glared at them angrily, they got goosebumps and looked away. Bo Young told "Brats." Miss. Han asked the students, "Ok the next candidate please." The next set of students shouted the next candidate's name. Hyun Mi asked, "What is wrong with these people? Till yesterday our Soo Ki was the first candidate and now these idiots haven't told our Soo Ki's name." The group was ruffled. Bo Young got tired. She laid down on the table again. She didn't care about what they were talking about. Miss.Han asked, "Ok do we have any other candidate? If not I will confirm the names and tomorrow we will conduct the voting." Rae Bin didn't wait for a second and told, "Song Soo Ki!" the group looked at Miss.Han intensely. Miss.Han wrote her name on the board and told, "Ok, these are the students-" "Excuse me Miss.Han." As soon as the girls saw the person they were making exclaiming sounds and started murmuring something. Bo Young was as usual really irked. Bo Young murmured to herself, "What the hell is wrong with these girls? Can't they shut their mouths for a while." And looked at the door. After seeing the person she exclaimed, "What!!!??!?"
