20 CHAPTER - 20

Previously,

"Hmm? What are you guys doing here?" She said as she recognised them. It was Yeon Joon, Seong Seop and Ha Sang. "Oh, you guys know each other?" Shin Na asked.

"Oh, you guys know each other?" Shin Na asked. The three guys looked at Bo Young in confusion of why she was there. "Oh Bo Young!? Why are you here?" Yeon Joon asked. "Definitely I'm here for working. For what else would I come here." Bo Young said. "Wait, so you work after she finishes?" Seong Seop asked as he pointed to Shin Na. Bo Young nodded. Seong Seop was shocked. "But, why are you guys with her? You know her too?" Bo Young asked. "Bo Young if you didn't know, this one(Seong Seop) is my little brother and the other two are his friends, I think you know all of them." Shin Na said. "This guy is your brother!" Bo Young asked in surprise. "You guys really know each other, right?" Shin Na asked. "Yeah, we go to the same school." Yeon Joon said. "Woah really?" Shin Na asked. Ha Sang nodded. "But is it that surprising when she said that I'm her brother?" Seong Seop asked. "Kinda." Bo Young said. "But, you don't work at this time right?" Seong Seop asked. "Who said that? Her shift starts by this time." Yeon Joon said. "How do you know that?" Seong Seop asked. "We come for buying some snack during the rest." Ha Sang said. "Ohh, so this was the girl you talk to every time I come to pick you up." Seong Seop said. Shin Na nodded. "Wait, and that day! You asked if I had a girlfriend, to set me up with HER?!?!" Seong Seop asked. Shin Na smiled awkwardly. Yeon Joon, Ha Sang and Bo Young were wide eyed. "WHAT?!" The three asked chorally. "Really? Unnie, did you ask that?" Bo Young asked. "Yeah I did. Well, it's not a bad thing though, you both suit each other too." Shin Na said. "Aye, don't be ridiculous noona." Ha Sang and Yeon Joon said together, then looked at each other weirdly. "Yeah, why would I date him? He isn't even my type." Bo Young said. "You neither." Seong Seop said. They both mocked each other. "Alright, I'm heading inside." Bo Young said. "Alright, bye!" Shin Na said. Bo Young waved as she went inside. "She is such a nice one." Shin Na said as she saw Bo Young leave. Seong Seop shrugged while Yeon Joon and Ha Sang didn't even hear what she told and was looking at the store. "What are you guys looking at? Aren't you going back?" Shin Na asked. "Yeah, but before that I have something to do. Be right back." Yeon Joon said and rushed towards the store. "Where are you going?" Ha Sang asked. Yeon Joon ignored and left to the store.

He went inside. "Welcome!" Bo Young said thinking it was a customer. "It's you." She said. "Yeah...did you get back home safe yesterday?" He asked. "Yeah, didn't I mention that in the text though? How is your uncle and aunt now?" She asked. "They are doing fine, one week left until he discharges from the hospital. Wait, how did you know they are uncle and aunt?" He asked. She thought: "Crap, did that just slip out of my mouth?" "Uh..yesterday, Seong Seop told everything when he was talking about you. He was just worried about you so he started talking about you. And don't tell him that I told you, please." She said. "If he mentioned about my uncle and aunt...he would've said everything." He said. Bo Young nodded. "Fine, I will take care of that later. I came to say one thing to you." He said. "What is it?" She asked as she sat on the chair. "I actually-!!" He was interrupted. Ha Sang came rushing inside the store. Bo Young looked at him in confusion. "We have to leave, they are calling us in for a meeting." Ha Sang said. "Shoot, Alright I'll tell you later!" He said and left with Ha Sang. "Okay." She said. Yeon Joon and Ha Sang went outside. Yeon Joon was running while Ha Sang was just walking casually. "What are you doing? We should hurry." Yeon Joon said. "Calm down, I lied." Ha Sang said. Yeon Joon stopped. "What??" Yeon Joon asked. "You seemed like you won't come back sooner, so I lied." Ha Sang said as he kept walking. "Ha Sang." Yeon Joon called him in a serious tone. Ha Sang stopped walking. "What?" Ha Sang asked in the same tone as Yeon Joon. "What's with you these days?" Yeon Joon asked. "What's me with these days? I've been the same. What's wrong with you?" Ha Sang replied. "What?" Yeon Joon asked. "Don't act like you don't know. Now, let's go. We have to practice." Ha Sang said. The atmosphere within them was totally different, it was serious.

Meanwhile Bo Young,

She thought: "Sigh, I hope today ends soon. Think about it, many things happened in just three weeks of me in South Korea. I don't think three weeks is enough to talk about it. I felt many emotions, met new people, created new memories. Somehow I feel that, upcoming days will be interesting." "Welcome!" She continued with her work. The hour passed. "Those guys didn't come today, whatever let's just get home." She said. "Welcome!" She said as she heard the door open and looked at. "Hey." Hyun Wook said as he was the one who entered the store. "Hey sunbae. Continue with your work, I will get going now." She said as she took her belongings. "Bo Young," He said. She stopped and looked at him waiting for him to complete his sentence. "Can you stay for a while?" He asked. "Hmm?" She asked being confused. "I mean, I have something to talk to you." He said. His ears turned red. "Ok sure." She said. "Let's go outside." He said. She nodded and followed him while smiling shyly. He didn't notice that. They sat on the bench. "Oh, Wait a minute." He said and rushed back inside. "Where...- He is fast." She said. He came back with two soft drink cans in his hand. She thought: "It's the same as the other day, anyways he is gonna say that it's for him. Don't expect so much from him." "Here." He said while handing out one of the soft drink. "What...is it?" She asked. "This is for you, here, take it." He said. "Oh..really?" She said hesitantly and got the can. "Thank you." She said. "What did you want to talk about, sunbae?" Bo Young asked as she took a sip of the soft drink. "Ah, right. Thanks for reminding. I actually taught Soo Ki a good lesson. You don't have to worry about it anymore. And, if she keeps troubling you again, tell me, I will take care of that brat." He said. "Its alright sunbae, she was just petty. She will learn her lessons too. So...is this what you wanted to talk about??" She asked. He shook his head. "Thank you. I want to tell thank you." He said, looking at her in the eye and smiling. She started to blush. To prevent him from noticing that she drank another sip of it. "Why...out of the blue??" She asked being flustered. "You know, somehow what you told reached my mom and dad and telling you that made me really relieved and I can actually tell what happened later too, and that makes me feel happy." He said. "Aaah, you mean, 'they should have did something in return for what you have done'?" She asked being unsure. "Ohhh, you remember." He said. "How did they return?" She asked being curious. "Mom, hugged me and gave me food." He said. "Ohh, that's it? I thought she did something big." She said being disappointed. "No, that hug was actually different. I could tell how she felt too. She felt happy, proud of me and that hug was out of pure love and affection. That was totally unexpected too. And before you told me to eat, my mother already told the maids in my house to prepare food for me. I could tell, she felt so satisfied. Plus, she has never done anything like that to me. She never talked to me properly because she was only immersed in business." He said unable to control his happiness and smile. "That's amazing and sweet. What about your dad??" She asked. "He went to abroad for a business meeting regarding the recent promotions, he sent me a video message, stating 'Our son Hyun Wook, you worked really hard and now the business sales are going really up, all because of you. We feel so proud to say that you are our son. I love you and thank you so much for what you have done, I promise that I will give something bigger than just a video message when I come back. I love you, oh no, we love you so much, our son!!' from his heart. I didn't want any other present bigger than that." He said smiling widely. "Woah, that's awesome, you must feel so happy. Are you sure that they have never shown this kinda affection to you?" She asked. "Yeah, they have always smiled and said they loved me but this was special. And its all thanks to you." He said again. "Haha, well..umm..its not like I had something to do with it, they just did what they should do, y'know, show their children love and affection. That's all that we want, some parents don't do it nor some aren't there to do it." She said but mumbled the last line. "I couldn't get it." He said as he couldn't understand what she told at last. "Its nothing. But, you must feel really happy now." She said. "Yeah, very happy." He said smiling widely. "Woah, your smiling widely now, its my first time seeing you smiling." She said. "Oh, really? Its just that, I feel special and happy." He said. "Lucky you." She said as she was looking at the soft drink can. There was silence in between them for a while. As she had her last sip, she got up from the table taking all her belongings in her hand. "You're leaving already??" he asked. "Yeah, I have to walk. Take care sunbae. Bye." She said and started leaving. "Wait a minute!" he said. She stopped and turned back to look at him. "I don't feel satisfied." He said. "What?" She asked. "Its that, I feel that, this thanking you wasn't enough." He said. "Well, you don't have to thank me. And I actually don't deserve the gratitude, you just wanted to tell me what was in your mind and you even said that just because of the situation, the real person you should thank is no one, even not your parents, they just did what they should do. Its alright." She said. "But, I don't feel good enough...so.." he hesitated. She was waiting for him to complete his sentence. "Are you free tomorrow evening?" he asked. She was totally flustered. "What do you mean?" she asked being really flustered. "I mean, we can hang out tomorrow." He said shyly. She blushed halfway. "Yeah sure, I won't have any plans too and it sounds fun." She said. "Yeah, it will be fun. I promise." He said. "Alright, alright. Text me the details later sunbae. I will leave now, bye!" She said and started leaving. He waved.

She thought: "WOW, JUST WOW. That was totally unexpected. How is he like that? He looks like a stone outside but acts like a child when he is happy. And he even wants to hang out with me, *blush* stop getting flustered Bo Young. He just wants to hang out because he isn't feeling enough with his gratitude. He just wants to thank you in a different way. Don't get too much of thoughts. He just want to hang out as friend, but wait does he even see me as a friend, never mind, he just wants to hang out as you are someone he knows. That is it." She thinks as she shakes her head to distract herself. She reached her home soon. She sat down on her couch knowing that she will go shower soon. "Woah, now that was a long day. I was totally packed today. And tomorrow I'm going to meet up with sunbae. Should I tell the girls? Well, lets tell them if they ask me about tomorrow's plans though. But, they are already making fun of me. They are already doubtful, so if I say that he wants me to hang out tomorrow with him, they will totally think in the wrong way. Never mind." She said and took out her phone and was scrolling through the recent call list to call Seul Hee but got distracted by another number. Which was the "threat call?" "Woah, I totally forgot about this call. Sorry, Mr.Threatcaller, I forgot your existence. I don't who this man is but, I feel totally frustrated because of him. Who does he think he is to talk to me like that?" She said. She then chatted with Ji Ae and Yu Ah. "Sorry for being late to tell, but I reached my home. Where are you guys now?" She texted.

"I just left the hospital now. My dad will send a car right now." Yu Ah said.

"We stay in the hospital during weekends." Ji Ae said.

"Ohh Okay. Alright, good night. Get home safely Yu Ah. Take care Ji Ae. Bye." She texted and kept her phone aside.

"I should eat now. Will eat and then sleep." She said. Soon, she ate and then went to bed. "I'm tired, I hope I will fall asleep faster today." She said as she closed her eyes to sleep. She slept sooner than she thought. At that moment, she heard a knock at the door. The knocking got louder enough, to wake up her. "Tch, the doorbell is present there, but why do they knock the door? And who is here at this hour?" She said being half asleep and went to the door monitor. She saw a person who's face wasn't clear, all she saw was a black face with no eyes, no nose and nothing. She thought it was a person because she was half asleep. She then opened the door. "Who are you?" She asked. "You wench, are you living a happy life? *looks around the apartment* well, seems like it though. Are you living a happy life after ruining ours??!" The person yelled. She thought: "The same voice from the call." He wore a long brown jacket with a black vest and pant. "Who are you? Get out! What are you doing?! Don't come in here!" She yelled. That person didn't listen to her and took out a gun from the jacket. She just went backwards. The person came towards her, pointing the gun towards her. "Since, you ruined our life and are living happily, how about I ruin your life and we live happily? Go meet your mom today, Bad bye!!" He said and pulled the trigger. "NO!!!".....
