12 CHAPTER - 12

"Hello? Hee unnie! How- Wait-Are you crying?!"

"Bo Young..." Seul Hee sobbed.

"Why are you crying? Tell me, you are making me worried."

"These days the hospital is full of patients, so I have become really busy. But, my husband has been misunderstanding and scolding for last few days. I can't take it."

"What? He is not understanding you? Don't cry now unnie. It will all become alright soon. Don't cry now.

"Alright, how is school?"

"It's normal I guess?"

"You don't seem too happy."

"No, you're absolutely wrong. I got two friends. They have been really nice to me."

"Oh- Bo Young he is back, I will call you tomorrow good night."

"Oh alright. Bye."

They ended the call. "Strange, He is late and why is he scolding Hee unnie? Alright, let's go to bed." She said and fell asleep. The next morning, she woke up earlier than she expected. "Arghh, my head is paining. Why is this happening every year? Previous years when I was in Miami it was even worse, that caused a whole drama in the school. I don't want it to happen this year too. I hope I will be able to bear it." She said and woke up with a whole set of headache. She started leaving for school. She was about to lock the doors but one thing crossed her mind. She thought: "Wait- after getting the ornament from Yeon Joon did I put it back on my bag? Let's check." She checked and was right. She didn't put it back. She went and got it and then put it back on her bag. "I somehow feel lonely without this." She said and went down the stairs. As soon as she got down the stairs she saw Hyun Wook standing there. "Oh sunbae! Why are you here? I can go by myself though." She said. "I know but if I don't give you support then Ji Ae will grill me." He said. "Ji Ae told you? I will tell her so you don't have to do that exactly. Let's go." She said. She kept massaging her head. The pain was a bother to her. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah. Sunbae, and I request you to not tell anyone that I'm working in part time job." She said. "But, Ha Sang and Yeon Joon already know it." He said. "Oh Yeah, then it's alright. But why are you working in a part time job? All those studying in this school are from rich families I suppose." She asked. "It's true that I'm rich but my parents wanted me to experience a normal student life. They don't like me to live all luxurious." He said. "Wow, that's a lot." She said. They reached school. The weather was nice. But her headache was the same. She was looking around. She saw the garden in the side. She thought: "Oh! How come I forgot? I was going to water those plants. I guess it's normal for someone to not start a new habit. Argh, this headache is killing me." "Sunbae, I have to go somewhere. Thanks for keeping me company. See you later!" she waved and walked towards the garden. Hyun Wook nodded and left too.

She went to the garden. She thought: "Woah, these are really beautiful. Have any students seen these scenario? I swear that I won't even be able to see these in any part of the country." She started walking further. She stepped into something. "A cold drink can? Sigh, these students can't even keep a beautiful place-" She was cut off. "What are you doing here?" Someone asked. She thought: "Whaat? I thought I was the only one here." She turned to take a look at the person. It was Ha Sang. She thought: "Why is he there at every place I go? First at the auditorium, then the store, then here." "Same question goes to you. What are YOU doing here?" She asked. "I asked you first." He said. "I came here for something. Now tell me why you are here." She said. "I come here regularly." He said. "It isn't a store yet you come her regularly." She said. "If you have a problem with that then leave! Nobody forced you to stay here." He said. "Why should I leave? I have some work to do here." She said. "Then do it and leave." He said. She glared at him and took out her water bottle. She went towards the flowers arranged on the walls. She poured the water gently. Then sat down to water the plants arranged down along the line. The cool breeze made it even better. Her hair was in the way, she then tucked it behind her ear. Ha Sang was watching the scene like watching a movie. She was confused on which plant to water next. She saw a very pretty lavender and Mimi pink* coloured  petals alternatively. She thought: "Woah, am I seeing right? This looks so pretty. This flower is Devopré**. And this flower seems so familiar. I don't think I have seen this anywhere. This one is so magnificent." She slowly went towards the flower. "Stop!" Ha Sang yelled. Bo Young got startled and looked at him tilting her head. "Don't go near her." Ha Sang said firmly. "Alright. But her?" She asked. "She is lavami." Ha Sang said. "But isn't this flower's name devopré?" She asked. "Yeah, It is but I named her differently. It's mine so I don't let anyone touch it." He said. "Oh okay." She said and sighed in relief. She thought: "Sigh, I feel somehow good now. I think coming here relieves my stress. I should get going now." She started leaving but then saw the soft drink can down. "Try not to throw the trash in this place." She said. "That wasn't thrown by me." He said back. "Oh then throw it when you see any lying on the floor anywhere." She said and picked it up and started walking. "Hey! What about the medicine that I gave?" He asked. "Oh, that, it reduced the pain. Thanks." She said and left. Ha Sang smiled and left soon after.

"Bo Young!" Ji Ae called out when she saw Bo Young. Bo Young looked at her, with a wave and smile. "How is your leg?" Ji Ae asked. "It's fine, the pain has reduced. Why did you ask Hyun Wook sunbae to do that?" She said. "Do what?" Ji Ae asked. "You asked him to help me right, to have his support while walking." Bo Young said. "What are you talking about? I never told him to do such a thing. And, I don't talk to him so much, adding to that I don't have his number either to tell him anything. But why?" Ji Ae asked. "Oh, really? But he told something like-" She was interrupted by the girls. Ha Sang entered the class, as usual the girls made a ruckus. "Ha Sang~~ I heard you had your monthly evaluation, did it go well?" Soo Ki asked. "Of course it would've, after all he is Ha Sang." Rae Bin said. Ha Sang didn't care about anything and laid down on the desk like he usually does while facing the direction of Bo Young. *Crash* "What the! Argh, Soo Hwa!! You should've been careful! My makeup pouch is a mess right now! Pick it up!" Soo Ki yelled at her. "I'm really sorry." Soo Hwa said and went back to her seat. "Geez, She did the mistake but she is being upset. I don't know what is wrong with her." Soo Ki said and the other girls nodded. But except one which was  Sang Sun. "Sigh, they are causing all kind of dramas here. I can't stand them." Ji Ae said. Bo Young didn't utter word. "Good morning y'all." Ms.Han entered. They did the usual greeting and settled down. "Do you guys know what's next week?" Ms.Han asked. "Is it vacation?" A student asked. "Wow, the school has just started and you want a vacation? Next week you guys are going to have a small exam to make you guys remember what you learnt last year." Ms.Han said. Everyone booed. "Alright, Alright. But there is something else that is waiting for you guys when the exam is done. But that might happen only when you guys score good marks. Alright, continue with your classes. Prepare well." Ms.Han ended giving her instructions. *Rrriiiiinnngg* the bell rang. Ji Ae turned and started chatting. "The school just started and they do this. Anyways we are gonna study arts, why bother trying to remember what we learnt last year?" Ji Ae said. Bo Young smiled. She thought: "The headache has reduced. Yay! It feels better now." "Shall we go to our classes?" Ji Ae asked. Bo Young nodded. They started leaving.

Bo Young couldn't continue with her dance sessions because of her leg's condition. "Hello everyone!" The teacher said. "What happened to Bo Young?" She asked. "It's an injury mam, you can continue." Bo Young said and sat down in a corner. They did nothing special though. The teacher asks the students to do some warm up and asks them to recommend songs to create a new choreography to teach them. Sometimes, they start learning Kpop dances on their own. "Hey you! Pass me the water!" Someone shouted from crowd. Bo Young got startled and looked at them. "Me?" She asked pointing to herself. "Yeah you!" The student said. "You got some nerve, can't you see I can't stand up properly!" Bo Young said. "Just do it!" The student said. "I won't." Bo Young said won't a really scary look. The students got goosebumps. "You, c'mon, Hurry-" The student was hit by someone in the back of their head. "Who the-" The student said and turned to look at. It was Seong Seop. The student looked defeated and scared. "Don't you have eyes? She is sitting for a reason, and you being lazy ask her to take water for you? Didn't I warn you already to not bully people?" Seong Seop warned that student. "I'm sorry." That student apologised. Their classes were coming to an end.

Bo Young went to the vending machine in front of the cafeteria alone. Ji Ae and Yu Ah were busy with their classes even though their break time was same. But Bo Young took a break even earlier. "You sure know where to tell what." Someone asked while getting a drink from the vending machine.

She turned to check who it was. It was Seong Seop. She just looked and shrugged. "What kind of response is this? I was expecting something better." He said. "Were you expecting something like 'Thank you so much for stopping him!'?" She said while impersonating how it would like if she said. "Exactly!" He said. "Tsk, tsk, that won't come from me. If you want you can hear that from Hyun Mi." She said. "Argh, even you know it. I'm embarrassed. Don't even talk about her." He said. "But, you did the right thing at the right time but I was going to tell him something that would've made him have a nightmare for the next few days." She said. "What is it?" He asked. "Why would I say you? What if you use that line? I can't believe you just like that." She said. "Tch, Hey, even I can't believe you are like this. I thought you won't even talk." He said. "You judge just by my looks huh? And..." She was thinking of how to put her words. "And....What?" He asked. "Yeah and you really are...." She was stretching the words again. "I really am.....? Just tell already." He said. "Nothing. You are actually nothing. I'm leaving." She said and started walking. "*scoff* this girl really! Hey! You are nothing too! Did you know that?!!" He yelled. "If i were a nothing, why would you talk to me in the first place?" She said while walking. Seong Seop didn't utter a word. Bo Young kept walking while giggling. She went to her class. She thought: "How come my headache is not bothering too much? No no, I shouldn't think about, then it will bother me again." She looked out for Ji Ae but wasn't there. She looked around and thought: "Hmm? Where is she? She didn't tell me anything either." "Hey, did you see Ji Ae?" She asked a classmate. "Yeah, but she went somewhere." The student said being flustered. "Thanks." She said and took her phone out. "OMG, did Bo Young just talk to you! Woah, you're lucky." Another student told to the another student. "I know right!" The student replied happily. Bo Young thought: "I hear you guys. Ok now, where did she go? Shall I ask her in text?" She texted: "Ji Ae where are you?". She sent the text but Ji Ae saw and didn't reply. "Ji Ae! Why aren't you replying?" She texted again. Then finally Ji Ae replied. "Don't search for me." Ji Ae sent. Bo Young thought: "If she sends this, then how would I not search her?! But where shall I start? Wait, let's ask Yu Ah for help." She texted Yu Ah: "Yu Ah, something has happened to Ji Ae." Yu Ah didn't hesitate and replied.

"Why? what is it?"

"She wasn't there when I came back to class. I asked her where she was, she didn't reply, and then again I sent a text she replied 'don't search for me.' Something's wrong. Will you come with me?"

"Now where are you?"

"In my class."

"Wait there, we will go together."

She then ended the text and waited. Yu Ah came soon. "Yu Ah! Here! Let's go." Bo Young said. Yu Ah went with the pace of Bo Young as she was recovering slowly. "Where shall we go first?"

"Usually, does she do this? Like wanting to be alone and stuff?"

"No, that is why I'm worried. Did you check the restroom?"

"No, let's go."

They went and called her but she wasn't there. "We will go to the cafeteria." Yu Ah said. Bo Young just went with the flow. They went there too she wasn't there. "Where else would she be?" Yu Ah stopped in a place and started thinking. Bo Young got an idea. "I think I know where. Follow my lead." Bo Young said. "Alright.." Yu Ah said looking confused.

They reached the place. "We are here." Bo Young said. "So this is where you think. And what kind of place is this? I have never seen this place before, in the past few years I have spent in this school." Yu Ah said. "WHAT!?!? You don't know this place? This is the garden. I have visited this place though." Bo Young said. "We will talk about this later. Now let's go inside." Yu Ah said. They both went inside. "Woahh, this place is beautiful." Yu Ah said. "I know right. We can go further in. Let's see if Ji Ae is there." Bo Young said. They both walked even further in. "Oh! Ji Ae!" Yu Ah said pointing to a corner. Ji Ae was sitting down looking at a flower. When she called her, Ji Ae turned with tearful eyes. "Oh? Why are you here? And why are you crying in the first place?" Yu Ah asked. "What is this flower's name?" Ji Ae asked neglecting the tears flowing down while looking and pointing at the flower. "Stop changing the subject. Now tell us why you're like that." Yu Ah said while going towards Ji Ae. Bo Young also limped towards there. "Only if you tell me the name I will speak up. If not, forget it." Ji Ae said. "Tch, I don't know." Yu Ah said while looking at Bo Young. "Devopré. The name is devopré." Bo Young said. "Alright, now she said the name, you have to tell us what is wrong with you." Yu Ah said. "What is the meaning of it?" Ji Ae asked ignoring Yu Ah's words. "Stop-" Yu Ah was cut off. "Wait a minute." Bo Young whispered. "It's an acronym from three French words meaning 'From your precious one'." Bo Young said. "'From you precious one huh? What if I'm going to lose a precious one?".......
