Synopsis

In just eight weeks, I, Nerina Morsus, will graduate with a Bachelor of Agricultural degree. From a young age, I was an only child so typically my parents instilled in me the fundamentals of agriculture, preparing me as the sole heiress to our plantation. I immersed myself in the study of farming, exploring every possible aspect and working alongside them for years to master the business. While my passion for learning never waned, I always made time for my friends, cherishing our moments together. I couldn't help but wish this life could go on forever. But life has a way of surprising us when we least expect it. One day, I found myself plummeting into a dark abyss and was thrown to another world. #slowburn romance

Chapter 1Chapter 01

I was so engrossed in finishing my final thesis that I didn't even notice my alarm vibrating incessantly on the desk beside me.

Bzzzt! Bzzzt!

Finally, the persistent buzzing pierced through my focus, drawing my attention. I looked up and was startled to find the study hall empty. A quick glance at my phone confirmed the time: 6 PM. The once lively room—filled with the rustling of papers and hushed conversations—now lay silent and still.

With a sigh, I began gathering my laptop and scattered papers. As I stood, a sharp pain shot through my head.

"Ugh! Not this migraine again..." I muttered, pressing a hand to my temple. These headaches had been growing more intense with each passing day.

I made my way toward the stairs, my mind still foggy from hours of focused work, and started to fumble through my bag for my medication. Frustration welled up inside me as I realized the familiar pill bottle was nowhere to be found. Just as my irritation peaked, I heard a soft sound.

Meow.

I paused, puzzled. "How did a cat get in here?" I whispered to myself, scanning the empty hallway.

My gaze was drawn to the odd-eyed cat that stared intently at me. Its fur was the purest white, almost glowing under the dim lights, and its mismatched eyes—one blue and the other golden—were mesmerizing. Being a cat lover, I couldn't resist the urge to approach it.

"Here, kitty-kitty," I whispered, extending my hand cautiously. Just as my fingers were about to brush its soft fur, an intense pain shot through my head.

My vision blurred, and the world around me seemed to tilt. I stumbled, desperately trying to regain my balance as the pain became overwhelming.

"Why is it so excruciating this time?" I thought, desperately trying to grasp my pain reliever, but it felt like my body was betraying me.

As I crumpled to the floor, I managed to steal a glance at the cat one last time.

But it wasn't a cat anymore.

Where the feline had been, a white fox now stood, its piercing red eyes locked onto mine. I blinked, trying to comprehend the transformation, but before I could piece together what was happening, darkness consumed me, pulling me into an abyss of unconsciousness.

To hell with this...

These themes are present all throughout the book in different ways. 3. This book is not just about the FL and ML, the cast of characters and side characters are full of rich backstories and their own chapters that play into the central plot of the story. 4. FL is young, she is flawed and she WILL piss you off. We all need time and experience to grow up. Join my discord server:
