Chapter 1: Gong Yuxian

-----35 years before the canon start-----

In the Snow Region of Extreme Ice, the extreme north of the Blue Wind Empire there is a beautiful little girl with a dark blue hair and skin as white as snow sitting in a lotus position in the middle of the icy region her name is Gong Yuxian at the age of 15 she became one of the most promising disciples of Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace.

Gong Yuxian is currently at the peak stage of Nascent Profound Realm she is preparing her break through to the 1st stage of True Profound Realm but she is currently having a hard time for she reach a bottleneck in her cultivation so she stop and stand up wondering why she can't break through.

"This is difficult it seems that I need to break my limits by fighting some profound beasts." Said Gong Yuxian with a frown on her face while puffing her cheeks, when she did that she looks so cute too bad no one saw this scene, this is before Gong Yuxian start sealing her emotions.

Gong Yuxian start dashing towards the snowy forest and found an ice wolf judging by its cultivation its 9th stage of Nascent Profound Realm, so Yuxian waste no time and prepare to use her ice sword alerting the ice wolf in the process which startled Yuxian a bit and jump towards it with a swing of her ice sword.

The ice wolf manage to dodge the slash and it only scratch its body for a bit and started fighting back then the two started a long battle which left the ice wolf bleeding and Yuxian with a few scratches on her white blue dress as the battle continues, she didn't notice another ice wolf behind her lunging at her and successfully biting her on the right shoulder.

"Aaahhhh!" scream Gong Yuxian in pain before using her frozen cloud arts to fend the ice wolf biting her shoulder, when the ice wolf let go of her she immediately touch her bleeding shoulder and started running away with the two ice wolves chasing her from behind.

While running from her two pursuers Gong Yuxian arrived at a clear blue lake with a hint of frost and stop running for she think she cannot escape her pursuers and decide to stand her ground and fight till she die.

"Grand Mistress I apologize for failing to live up your expectations for I might die today." Said Gong Yuxian with tears on her face, as she ready herself for her final fight as the two ice wolves lunge at her at the same time all of a sudden an icy blue flames started falling down on the ice wolves burning them easily and the sound of footsteps was heard from behind her.

"Little girl are you alright?" a cool voice was heard and Gong Yuxian look behind her and saw a blue haired boy standing in the middle of the cold lake with no sign of profound energy, but an icy blue flames on his hands which stunned her for she knew without asking that the boy saved her from the ice wolves.
