2 Chp#1

I want to tell you that darkness exists everywhere. So don't be afraid of it.

First encounters are important but they are not the final image. It's just a bland pencil sketch which his personality is going to color. Later it will turn out into a painting. And he was her sketch she wanted to see colored.

She just remembered that she had gotten a call from hospital. Those were the last words she remembered

"Are you madam Songl?"

"yes, but who are you?"

"Well this is Red Hospital calling. Your husband has been brought here after a road accident. "

On hearing these words her knees gave up she just fell on the ground. She didn't know what to say. She was afraid to ask the question because she thought she might not be able to hear the answer.

Her silence gave a cue to the attendant.

"Well, He is still in danger; it's better if you can come here."

That line felt like a rope around her neck. She immediately replied;

"Well I'll be there as soon as possible."

As soon as the line hung up. She stood up but her feet weren't supporting her. They had grown numb due to the cold. She tried getting up again but every time she fell her knees were getting hurt more than before. Her senses had lost the ability to feel any pain. It wasn't her fault; trauma had taken away her ability to do so.

Finally, after many tries, she got up. But everything ahead felt like a black alley. Her eyes that had dried up once again started welling up. She started running as fast as she could. She could run faster than this if the conditions were normal.

She suddenly stopped with a jerk. She felt like someone was stopping her by holding her arm. His grip was really strong. She tried to run again but he was hundreds time stronger than her. She tried to remove his hand of his arm. She looked at him helplessly. It seemed like hope had left her eyes. Her peculiar sparkling eyes were lost somewhere. She was literally begging him.

He yelled;

"I can't."

She pleaded;

"please."

"why?!"

She just smiled and looked away. He wanted an answer but she was stubborn. His grip weakened a little and that was when he realized that she had jerked him away. She started running as fast as she could. He was after her to stop her. He didn't want her to break.

He was running behind her. She was running on the path she had already looked up on the maps. But she saw a path to the forest park. She thought it was her only chance to evade him. She took that path to escape him. Even when she took that path, she kept on running because she wanted to see her husband even if it was only one last time. She was never to that path and it was then she realized she was lost.

She was running with her mind in the hospital that she didn't realize that there was a root of the old tree sticking out of the ground. Her foot trapped and she fell down. But it didn't stop here. Just next to that root was a trench. She fell and started rolling down. She was rolling down and down but it was not going to stop any sooner. She tried to grip anything to stop her from falling. But she couldn't. At last she stopped but it was the hard way. Her head hit a rock. She felt like her hairs were getting wet. Her face was also getting wet with some sort of liquid but she was unable to determine what was this fluid.

She tried getting up but couldn't. She fell again. Her eyes were getting heavier. She was trying to use all her strength to get up but her body wasn't getting along. She was losing her consciousness. Her body was all of sudden feeling very peaceful. Like all the tiredness and worries had left her. She was feeling like a feather. But her mind was still not giving up on her sole string to live;

"No, He must be waiting for me."

"He must be waiting for me."

"He must be waiting."

"Waiting..."

"Waiting..."

"Waiting...."

"Waiting...."

"Waiting...."

This was the only word on her lips

And he was the only person on her mind

When her mind was swallowed in the darkness.
