1 How we met and became best friends

It all started when we were 12 , we met through her cousin who at the time was our neighbor.

I really don't wanna bore you by telling you where we stayed and how we lived and all that bullshit.

We lived in Cape Town, SA, where Melanie would come visit every holiday.

It was a sunny day, Melanie and Gabby( that's her cousin's name) were playing outside, since Gabby's mom and mine were friends mom called me to play with the two outside, and that ladies and gentlemen is how we met.

We would always play the stupidest games and it was always fun....we were the three musketeers (Gabby, Melanie and Carly).

Mel eventually moved in with Gabby and her mom when Gabby moved to J'burg to live with her grandparents, it was a little sad but not for me cause all I was thinking about was "finally I can have Mel all to myself", it's selfish I know, stop judging 😂😂

Anyway y'all know how being 12 feels like. After a few months I realized I liked liked liked Mel and well I was confused cause how could a girl like like another girl.

Like the good kid that I was, I told mom and I thought she was going to punish, shout or beat me but she didn't do any of it . She just explained that my feelings were normal and that they would go away soon. Lemme tell y'all one thing soon did not come as soon as I thought it would do when the feelings didn't go away I decided to tell Mel how I felt cause you know I was feeling a little brave :-*:-*

Y'all don't laugh but I set up my room like in the movies, I literally saved up 50 rand so I can buy some chocolate and everything.
