The Megas. But, instead of shepherding humanity into a new golden age; they rebelled against their creators. A long war called the 'Lost Decade' occurred, the Megas fought against all of humanity's combined forces to a bloody standstill. Then, without warning, the leader of the Megas activated its secret weapon; the Big Flash. In an instant, the atmosphere around the world was covered in a super-heated light; evaporating all of Earth's major oceans. And with it, the disappearance of the Megas. Earth had now become a desert world, where now in its distant future the descendants of the survivors of the Big Flash remain; children of The Mother, the all-encompassing sands that harbor's humanities last hopes. Free, is one such desert child. And his story of discovering the truth behind the disappearance of the Megas has now just begun.
