153 The End Part 2

Lilac's POV

"Lilac… Yoon Gi hyung… He… He …" Jimin stuttered with a panic expression.

"Calm down and talk Jimin ah." I said. 

"Yoon Gi hyung got into an accident. He's now in the hospital." Jimin said in one breath. 

"What!" I said while dropping the spatula. 

"Come let's go the hospital now." Jimin said. 

"Ok. Let me close my shop first. Help me lock the doors." I said to Jimin. 

"Ok." Jimin said and went out to close the door.

I hurriedly clean up the kitchen and the more I clean the messier it is where I just gave up on cleaning in the end.

"Lilac I'm done." Jimin said. 

"Ok let's go. I can't even think already." I said and threw my apron on the table top. 

I was so worried to the point that I didn't realize that we were not heading to the hospital. 

"Jimin where are we going? This is not the road heading to the hospital." I said. 

"Relax Lilac. We're taking an alternative road because the main road is blocked." Jimin said. 

"Oh. Then I'll just take a nap first. Wake me up when we're there." I said. 

"Alright." Jimin said.

I woke up due to the rocky road. 

"Jimin are you sure we are you sure we are going the right way?" I asked.

"Oh you woke up. We are here already come with me. I'm sorry that I lied to you about Yoon Gi hyung injuries." Jimin said. 

"What do you mean Jimin-ah?" I said. 

"It's ok you'll know when you reach there." Jimin said. 

I followed Jimin walking along the pathway. I could see trails that have just been cleared. Although I have question in my mind but I was too immersed with the beauty of the sight in front of my eyes. Fireflies were floating like tiny stars and there was a campfire in the middle of the empty land. 

"Lilac walked there on your own. Don't worry nothing will happen to you." Jimin said. 

I listened to him and walk there going nearer to the campfire until I saw a silhouette emerge from behind the campfire. It turns out Yoon Gi was there.

"Yoon Gi, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Lilac there's something that I've always wanted to ask you." Yoon Gi said. 

"What is it?" I asked.

I took a few steps back when he kneeled down. I know at the moment what he was going to do.

"From the first day I met you, I felt that you were special. But at that time I wasn't sure whether you have the same feelings for me. I don't dare to confess my feelings until the time where I had to go back to Korea. I felt the sense of loss. At that moment, I wanted to rush to your school and confess to you and yet I held myself back. When I met you again last year, I didn't know how much I had actually missed you deep inside my heart. I wasn't able to express my feelings and I know that I've hurt you. I'm sorry to have done so. I was dumb enough to believe that you wouldn't forgive me no matter what. When you forgive us, you gave me a ray of hope. That hope was the one that makes me felt that it was time for me to bring you back into my arms. When you lost your memory few months back, I was heartbroken. It was as if a part of heart was taken away from me. The pain was unbearable. I knew that at that point I couldn't lose you anymore. I'm not a man with romantic bones in me but I'm willing to learn as long as you give me the chance to. I want to grow old to you. Hold your hands till the end of the day of our lives. Being able to revolve in your world and become your knight in shining armor. So, will you give me the chance to make you happy and be my one and only?" Yoon Gi said. 

I was stunned beyond words. The words that were stuck in my mouth couldn't be said because I was touched by what he had said. Although I know that I wasn't ready yet but I know that he will take care of me no matter one and that look on his face made me unable to reject him. Unknowingly, I nodded my head and manage to whisper out a soft yes to him. Tears flows like stream of river from my eyes as I couldn't believe that I could find someone who would treat me like a treasure. All these time, I've been trying my best to be the mature person no matter where I go but with Yoon Gi I can truly be myself and act however I want because I know that he had assured me no matter how I behave it doesn't change his mind that had been set on me. 

When I nodded my head, Yoon Gi's eyes twinkled like how the stars twinkle in the sky. That was the happiness that I was looking for. He put the ring on my fourth finger and hug me tightly worrying that I might disappear if he lets go.

"Thank you Yoon Gi." I said. 

"Anything for you jagiya." Yoon Gi said.
