17 Where can I find her?

Liam's pov:

Little Alice goes running to Liam's house.

There he was, playing games alone.

"Liam! Come! Mom made food, and she asked you to come over," says Little Alice.

"No, I don't want to come," says Liam.

Little Alice pouts and begs Liam to come.

After she notices that he wasn't focusing on her, she grabs his hand and runs towards her house.

"Just come eat with us. I promise I won't be annoying," says Little Alice.

Sighing, Liam just goes with her because he knew if he didn't, she would annoy him the whole day.

"Hey, Liam. You came. I made your favourite food for dinner because Alice was bugging me to do so," says Alice's mother.

How did you know what my favourite food is? asks Liam.

I heard you ask your mother to make that for you, says Alice to him.

"Come wash your hands and sit on the table. You guys can talk all you want over food," says Alice's mother smiling.

They both run to the sink and wash their hands.

Hmmm, auntie, It smells good, and he digs in like he didn't eat food for days.

"Liam, calm down. The food is not running away," says Alice's father while laughing awkwardly.

Elizabeth slaps Jonathan.

"Don't tease him," she says.

"Liam, didn't you eat lunch?"

He stops like he was hurt.

He looks down at the table and answers her.

No, my parents went to work early, and the maid didn't make anything.

Alice looks at him, and she sees that he was crying.

She puts her spoon down and goes over to him.

"Liam, are you okay?"

I am alright. He answers Alice while slightly pushing her away.

"Well, Liam. You can always come here and eat. You are always welcome," says Alice's mother while smiling at him.

"Don't say that. We are more than happy to have you here. Even Alice is more cheery whenever you are around," says Elizabeth.

"Yes, You have to come or else I will just get you by force," and upon hearing this, they all laugh.

The light of the sun hit my pair face what made me turn to the other side. I ignored it and wanted to go back to my dream.

If you don't talk, I will hang up. I warned him annoyingly.

I had a dream about Alice before I got disrupted.

"You still dream about her?"

Yeah, not like I can forget her. She is the only good memory I got.

After we finished, I searched for her, but I couldn't find her.

"Really, man? We can go to the University and ask around if someone knows her."

Thank you. I love Elona as my dear mother. She is in her fifties and takes care of me as her own child. She never complains about anything and does things for me before I tell her like she can read my mind.

As always, we eat breakfast and dinner together. Also, Elona sometimes tells me how she is doing or asks me how I am doing in life, even though she knows when I am upset or when I am having a hard time.
