18 Chapter 18

Jennie's POV

My eyes feels so heavy as i woke up before my alarm does, who knows if i really slept or not. Everything i found out last night bugged me until i can no longer take it and look for the article regarding the Manoban's accident, and my heart breaks repeatedly as everything was saying the same thing, they all died.

After showering, i rummage through my closet and look for something to wear, my eyes landed on a familiar light blue dress. My body shivers figuring out it was the same dress i wore when Lisa and I had a date after Lilly's party, the date that made me madly inlove with her, in my dreams.

I'm not sure since when it was there but i still decided to wear it. Few touch of make ups and im ready to go. I stand in front of my full mirror just break my heart once again by the memories we had.

"I can't believe you really did join me in my reality Lisa, and I'm an idiot for not indicating that you should be alive when you do" crazily, i talk to myself and realized my voice almost inaudible due to colds.

Before i could ruin the mood, i took my bag and messaged Mino that im on my way. He told me he'll pick me up at the station right at the end of the street.

Later

After two hours of awkward silent drive, Mino stopped and pull over in front of a white wide gate. He glance at me and faint a smile. So it's here.

Im not sure if im ready for this but yeah, im here and there's no turning back. I knew that finding Lisa is the last thing i expected to happen but it actually does. And that was the thing, i felt so broke deep inside. I know her smile, her laugh, her joyful disposition, and simply her presence were already gone and can no longer be back.

"Lets go?" Mino asked and i nodded without saying anything. Instead i just follow as we made our way. He held my hand when we need to step on the grass and sooner we stop in a certain spot.

"Here we are." Mino look at me before he put down the flowers i didn't know he had.

"Hi Pran, Im sorry for not coming at the right time but i bring your friend Jennie with me." Mino said as if he was really talking into a grave stone. He look at me and gestured to come.

With my knees trembling, i took a step closer until i could clearly see the multiple gravestones and didn't expect that my heart could hurt even more when i saw the stone Pranpriya Manoban engraved on it with her picture, It was really her, it was My Lisa.

My muscles become weak and my knees touches the gree grass. My hand covers my mouth to stop myself from sobbing loud.

"Im sorry Jennie." Mino whispers and i felt him rub my back.

Rose's POV

"Oh my god! Are you really sure about this Mino? Cause im going to kill you if it was just another pretentious media!!" I groan as i pack my things.

"Just go. We're already on our way, we just stopped cause she need to use the bathroom but were almost there... okay okay wait she's here. See you!" Mino rushed before dropping the call.

"Oh crap!!" I groan when i accidentally smudged my eyeliner.

I don't know how did this Jennie Kim knew about Lisa. Aside from us, we never let anyone knew about it and my ears couldn't believe when Mino told me that a Jennie Kim is looking for Pran.

I almost give up after trying to fix my make up. I glance at the clock and its almost past twenty minutes since Mino called. They must've been there.

I stopped by a room on my left and saw her sitting on the bed.

"Why you're still on your PJ's??!!!!!" I scold her when i realized she just woke up.

"Why?! Do i even need to wear tux?" she fought back.

I took a dreep breath knowing in any moment, she'll consume all my energy. " Ugh fine, just leave as soon as i left." I fan myself in annoyance, i can't believe this.

"okay?" She giggle and went back on doing something on her phone.

"Oh god!" I groan in defeat before closing the door and leave the house.

It was less that ten minutes drive so i didn't rush and just think of what should i say when i met her. Mino's car was already here and i guess they were here for a while already

I pull over and took the flowers before going inside the cementery.

From the distance, i saw Mino standing beside a girl in blue dress. I must've say she looks good just by her back figure.

Inhaling deeply, i slowly walk towards them until Mino saw me.

"Mino?!" I called him pretending like i didn't know he's here. erh.

"Oh Chaeng! Didn't expect to see you here." He retorted and give me a fake hug.

I step on the side to put the flower on the to gravestone before i look back at Mino "yeah. I wasn't able to pay respect yesteday so i decided to stop by here today." I smile gloriously at my acting skills.

Glancing at the girl which i suppose was Jennie, i smile at her and i could say she's really pretty but she's giving me this weird look.... "Uhm Hi? Are you here for Pran too?" I asked pointing at the gravestone.

Jennie didn't speak which i find odd. She just stare at me like she saw a ghost, or probably a goddess. Uhh.

"uhm hello??" I wave my hands at her but still her eyes were wide as hell.

Noticing the odd act of Jennie, Mino speak for her. " Ah I'm with her, she's Jennies, she's friend with Pran." Mino introduced finally snapping this girl into reality

"Oh Hi Jennie. Im Rosé. Rosé Park. Nice meeting you." I smile and offer a handshake. She was hesitant i guess but she slowly take it and damn her hand was so cold. Did i scare her?? "Are you okay?" I couldn't help but to ask. Its not what im here for but i can't let something happen with this planned fake encounter.

"uhm yes. im fine. Im just uhh...shock by Lisa's death." she blurted, her voice is kind of husky, it's far from what im expecting with her cute features.

"Lisa??" I asked frowning like i don't have a clue. How?

"Lisa? Yeah right. i remember you calling her Lisa the time we met. Is she really your friend Lisa Manoban?" Mino asked

Crossing my fingers inside my head, i wait for her to speak.

"Uhm. She introduced herself as Lisa thats why i know her by that name." She said. That can't be. You're lying.

"Who are you?" I whispered not noticing that im giving her a suspicious look.

"sorry?" Jennie asked.

"I mean where did you met her? Haha yeah yeah." I smoothly crossed it over.

Jennie fell in silence while me and Mino wait for her answer.

"I said where did you met Pran?" I asked, my tone was now giving her a hint..

"just..."

"Who are you Jennie? How did you know about Lisa?" I hissed and about to grab her hand but Mino intervene that made Jennie gasp in shock.

"I don't know what you're trying to say." Jennie said with trembling voice.

"Don't act as if you don't know what im saying. How did you know all of this?"

"Mino, i don't know what she's saying.. " Jennie starts to cry. Mino pull me on her arm and whispers. "Chaeng i think she's telling the truth..."

"Telling the truth? Damn then how will you explain her calling by the name of Lisa  when we just gave it to her one week and and she hasn't left that bed eversince?!!" my brain suddenly stops from working when i realized what i just said.

"What?" Jennie stops from sobbing and look at me. "wh- Lisa.. is with you?" her eyes were like fiery arrow staring at me. scary..

I shake my arm to get Mino off of me. "I think you heard it wrong. We gave it to her cause we always miss her everytime we call her Pran." my excuse sounds lame but im hoping she'll bought it. Ughhhhh im out of track now!!

"It doesn't seems like that" Jennie glare at me. It feels like the table suddenly turn. "What do you mean she hasn't left that bed?!!"

"Uhm i think we shouldn't be doing this on our friend's grave. We're here to pay respect right?" Mino tries to intervene us.

Although i want to interrogate her, i refrain from talking cause i was the one being interrogated now but this Jennie is smart and wasn't giving up.

O my god im screwed.

"No! I don't even think this grave is for real." Jennie insist and step closer to me.

"Tell me Rosé. Is Lisa alive?" She asked while giving me a straight look, her voice was cracking but she doesn't care at all.

"Mino i think you should go." I signaled Mino to take away Jennie or else it'll be a chaos.

Thankfully he gets what I meant and pull Jennie away from me but Jennie wasn't breaking the stare.

"Jennie lets go." Mino holds both of her arm and although Jennie is resisting, she gave up.

I thought were already settled but Jennie turn back and face Mino.

"Tell me Mino, is Lisa really dead?" She asked. "Please tell me." her tone was softer this time, now she's acting desperate.

"Im sorry Jennie. I don't know how you came up to that but Im here to pay respect on her death" he sigh. "And here's the evidence." he pointed out the grave. Nice act.

"I know its hard to believe but. . . ." Mino convince her. I felt so bad doing this, I don't want to hurt this girl but what can i do, we don't know her, and no matter how much she claim she knew Lisa, she can't prove that they really were acquaintance or know each other atleast.

There was a moment of silence before Mino back at his sense and fix himself.

"Chaeng we'll go now. Im sorry for what happened." Mino said giving me an apologetic look.

"I..im sorry." Jennie's change of attitude is something. Really.

"Damn Mino this is crazy.." i sigh as I follow them with  gaze as they walk away and when they got lost in my sight, i took out my phone and call her.

"Took you so long?" she asked as soon as she picks up.

"Uhm yeah kinda caught in a drama but they're going outside. Are you there?" I breathed deeply.

"Yeah.. We're here."

"Okay, she's wearing a blue dress and Mino is wearing a white tank. I guess you can easily identify them cause there's no one in here aside from us." I bit my lip and sat on the grass.

"okay" she said before dropping the call.

"I hope it's her. although is far like from it."

Someone's POV

I patiently sit at the backseat of the car while waiting for this girl that they were talking.

Rosé called telling that they are on their way out and after a minutes, i saw a woman in blue dress coming out with a guy holding her on the side. I roll down the window to see it clearly since the car is heavily tinted.

The man wearing white shirt soothing her while her head was facing down tucked on her palms.

"Is that Mino?" I asked the driver and he nods.

"She's crying right?" I pointed out the girl in blue dress.

"I think so."

I knit my brow trying to find an angle where i can see her face but i failed. She just walk there and i can clearly see how her body moves from sobbing.

Staring at her hoping that she will show her face, my eyes landed on her dress that looks perfect on her, but it seems like I've seen that before.

I patiently observe the two as they reached the gate. Mino stops from walking so is the girl. He faced her and i think he's saying something before he left her alone there.

After a few second the girl turn back, there she lift her head up.

Fanning herself, she turn again giving me a clear view of her face. With the distance, i can clearly see how her face swoll from crying.

"Did she cry for me?" I blurted while analyzing her face. "But who is she?" i pout as i couldn't remember her face. I haven't seen her. Her face is all new to me but there's something in me telling that I've known her.

"Can you help me,?" I asked the driver still staring a thr girl. I heard the driver turns off the engine before he come out and went to my side to assist me to stand up with the crutches.

As soon as i came out of the car, a black Benz stops on the other side of the road just in front of the girl in blue dress. The man came out from the driver seat and lead the girl in the car, opening the door for her.

"Wait!" I said aloud catching their attention before the girl gets insde the car while i fix myself with the crutches. They both look at me and instantly their face fell like they've seen a ghost.
