Chapter 11

Jennie's POV

My eyes widen when realization hits me. I must've gone insane!!

"Lis??What did you just say?" Kai gasped, looking like a knife had just stabbed his chest.

I stared at him for a moment, trying to grasp what was actually happening. I remember going for a round two with Lisa, and then I wake up making love to him. It was one of those moments where you're awake but it's like you're taking your dream with you.

"Kai.. I.."

Mino? Lis?!! What's next Jennie?!" gritted his teeth, immediately pushing himself off me. He stood across the bed, facing me. His face was really pale and you could clearly see the veins forming in his neck.

"I don't.."

"You don't know? Again?!! Is that even possible cause i myself never dreamt of person i don't know!!" he scoffed. He paced around the room with his hand going through his hair. "How could that be you don't know? You mentioned that fucking name while you were fucking me.How could you possibly mention another guy's name while you're with me? Please just... I... ugh... fuck."

He sat down on the floor and buried his head in his hands. I didn't know if he was crying or trying to hide his anger.

Im sure he's referring to Mino, but im not sure if he's taking 'Lis' as a guy too.

I knelt down beside him and reluctantly placed my hand on his shoulder. "Kai, please believe me. It was just a dream. It was nothing." As much as it pained me to say that it was nothing, I felt like I had to. It's not like I could tell him about Lisa right now while he was in this state.

"How long has this been going on?" he asked.

"What?"

"How long have you been dreaming of him?"

I looked into his deep brown eyes, and all I could see was pain, masked with tears that were about to fall.

"This was the first time I ever dreamt of him," I lied. I don't know who he's been referring.

"Wow, really? And you were fucking him right away?" he snapped. "Don't even try to deny it because you were moaning out loud even before we started."

"Jesus, Jongin! it was a dream!" I sighed out loud. "I wasn't able to control it, it just happened."

Jongin got up and marched towards the bed, getting two of his pillows.

"What are you doing?"

He turned to me and chuckled sarcastically. "It all makes sense now. I'm sleeping in my studio. Don't bother me."

"What makes sense?" I asked, quickly following him to the other room but he's quick enough to lock the door.

"Kai please talk to me.." i feel like im about to cry. "It was nothing!"

"Just go to sleep Jennie. I have a big day tomorrow. You don't want me to ditch it don't you?!" he screamed. I want to explain everything but i decided not to, he's right, he has an exhibit tomorrow and i don't want to ruin it.

I hazily went back to the room and slump myself on the bed letting my tears flow, i just decided to sleep it off, hoping my dreams would make up for this horrible night we just had.

Why are you doing this to me? why do i have to be attached to someone nonexistent? Why do i have to know her just for my life to get ruined.

"Hey, what's with the sulky face?" Lisa asked, shaking the bottom of my chin with her hand. "Cheer up!" Just i was expecting my dreams to continue, it didn't.

"Sorry," I sighed, taking her hand in mine. "I just had a rough night."

"Mind sharing what happened?" Lisa said.

"It's nothing, really," I forced a smile. Were standing outside the restaurant and i can see a lot of people inside like they we're having a birthday party. Right, i just had a fight with my boyfriend and here am i in a celebration.

Lisa shrugged and gave my lips a soft kiss. "If you say so. But you're okay, right?"

I pause for a moment to condition myself, i shouldn't bring what sucks in reality here in this wonderful fake dream.

"I'm great," I kissed her, wrapping my arms around her neck. "I love you."

Lisa sighed and smiled at me. "Damn, I will never get tired of you saying that."

"You two lovebirds!" Mino called from inside. "Come in here or you'll miss out on the food!"

"You can't possibly run out of food," Lisa rolled her eyes as we went inside. I need to act that i know what is happening really...

"Do not underestimate a room of hungry people," Mino pursed her lips as he fall in line for the buffet table.

I look around and saw a big banner with "Happy Fourth Birthday Lilly." so it's Lisa's sister's birthday.

A girl which i remember was Lilly's babysitter came with another girl on her side and they head towards us.

"Oh, Jisoo. Long time no see!!" Lisa fist bump the girl with a heart shaped lip before giving her a hug.

"Is she Jennie?" she pointed at me and Lisa nod. "Nice meeting you Jennie. Im Jisoo. and im okay." She introduced herself but made us laugh when Rosé slap her.

"Cut out that Im okay!" Rosé whispers aloud.

"Why? They will ask if how am i doing so i answer it right away!" Jisoo said asking for us to validate her reason.

I giggle before giving a nod "Well thats right, just to get rid of that how are you thing!"

"Okay okay. Why don't we just eat?!!" Lisa breaks the mood making Jisoo glare at her. "Why? we're here to eat right?!" she tease Jisoo before pulling me on the line.

While im waiting for our turn, my eyes landed on Lisa's father, i met her for i don't know when was that, her sister Lilly sitting beside him, but i wonder where's her mother? Its like i can't ask for Lisa about it.

A couple of minutes later, Lisa's father gave a short speech thanking everyone who came and everyone  who help her. She started thanking his family members one by one, along with his good friends and business partners.

Lisa was sitting on my left side while Lilly was sitting on my lap. Lilly is so lovely, we had sort of time together earlier and here she is now clinging on to me.

"you alright? I'll take Lilly." Lisa poked me from behind.

"Im okay, she's a little sleepy." I said looking at Lilly who is closing her eyes. "Can you just move a little closer? My back hurts." I motioned Lisa to move closer and she did, i lean on her chest and it seriously felt firm.

Lisa's arm wrapped around me and Lilly while i put Lilly to sleep.

"You smells good Jen" Lisa whispers like a maniac.

"Shut up." i scold her cause were sort of getting attention because of our position.

"Im just telling the truth. Anyway after this party. i want you to come with me." She asked and although i don't know where it is, i nod.

The party was fun but it doesn't much look like a kid's party because mostly the visitors i assume were businessmen, and there are only few kids.

The party ends almost three in the afternoon. I don't remember bringing gift for Lilly but Lisa told me that Lilly liked the stuff toy i gave. I don't know how that happened, its like my self in here has its own life.

After a not so long drive, we stopped in front of her apartment. I guess my things were still here.

"Where are we going ?" I asked expecting a reply from her .

"It's a surprise " Lisa replied and began dragging me towards her room. Or i guess our room now.

"Go get changed . I'm waiting down near the car " . After saying that , she left the room and closed the door behind her leaving me alone.

Im confused . I did not know where she was gonna take me so I couldn't really decide on what to wear either. I walked up to my clothes and as I placed my hand on a black skinny jeans to pull it out , my phone vibrated.

Who would've beep me in my dream??

But then after seeing it, i guess there's only one person who can do it, it was a messagr from Lisa. I reach out my phone to read the message

"And make sure not to wear jeans " .

Tss... How did she know that.

I go back searching again and pull out a light blue coloured dress, im not sure if i have this in real world. It was a quite decent dress for an afternoon outing.

I sigh at Lisa's sudden plan for a surprise. She was really the type of person to hold surprises, and when she says surprise, it was really something. I can't remember being disappointed with her unexpected plan.

Getting dressed as soon as possible, I leave the house making sure its locked well and head down.

Lisa looks at me as I enter the car. As I get into my seat, I turn towards her and smile so she does.

Slowly, Lisa approach her hands towards my face and leans down.

This was not the real deal but im expecting a kiss. I blush and shut my eyes close but instead of finding her lips on mine , I hear a low chuckle and find a piece of cloth covering your eyes.

"Huh ?! What's this for ?" I asked her in a disappointed and embarrassed voice.

"You expect me to kiss you didn't you?" Lisa chuckle as i heard the engine start.

"shut up!"

Oh my god im too engrossed with this.

I place my hands over the piece of cloth over my eyes in an attempt to remove it off but Lisa grabs my hands and pulling them back, places them on my lap .

"I told you , its a surprise " she says and chuckles again.

"But..." I try asking again.

"No buts Jennie. Just wait for a while, we will be there soon " she says and starts to drive.

On our way to unknown destination , I tried asking Lisa as to where were heading to , but all I got was a "It's a surprise" or "A little while more"as a reply.

The drive was getting long and I were beginning to feel sleepy. I've never felt  sleepy in my dreams, the hell im already sleeping in reality.

As Im about to give into sleep , the car comes to a stop.

Finally!

I hear Lisa open her side door and then to my side and open it too.

Lisa holds on to my hand and helps me get out of the car. I can feel the cold wind pass through my open hair .

Its the same type of air from that spot where we jump off.

"Lisa if were on somewhere high, i swear im going to kill you!"

"Really?" she mocks slowly begins to undo my blindfold.

I blink a few times trying to get clearer view and my eyes go wide upon seeing where we are.

The beach. Sunset.

I have no idea which one it is but its calm and beautiful with no people around . I always wanted to be on a night beach date.

How badly I hoped for that. Kai didn't like beaches as he has a phobia in wide spaces so we only had private pools during summer.

With a big smile on my face , I jump towards her hugging her tightly and then run away on to the sand towards the water.

Lisa smiles at me before she gets a big cloth bag out of the car and walks towards me.

Lisa searches for a spot to lay the mat down on to which we both can rest, making sure its distant enough from the water level .

Removing the mat from the bag , she spreads it on to the sand. She sits down on the mat and look at my way.

"Jen." Calling out to me, she gesture me to come sit besides her .

I reluctantly follow what she says and go and sit besides her .

Lisa lies down on the big mat and I follow track. We both lay there for quite a few minutes, silently watching the stars slowly appear from the large sky.

I want to talk and say something but i don't know where to begin. I felt Lisa's sneaks and held my hand. I want to protest but what for, im liking it.

"So, do you liked the surprise ?" she questions breaking the silence while still staring at the sky.

"Like ?" I turn to face her. " I loved it. " i exclaim and she chuckles.

"Its not over yet " she says and stood up.

"Huh ?" i asked looking at her as she walked back to the car and I guess she gets her phone.

Lisa looks at my way with a smile "Lets dance " 

"What?!"

"I said lets dance!" She giggles and pull me to stand up. We stand on the edge of the water.

Lisa wrap my arms around her neck while she shoves her hand into her pocket and pull out her earplugs.

I just look at Lisa as she plug them on. She hands one earpiece to me and place it on my ear.

"What is this?" I asked shyly but deep inside im melting, she's just to romantic, if thats what you called it. She just glance at me with a wide smile on her face.

Its getting dark yet its getting more romantic.

Lisa goes through her playlist trying to look out for a particular song and when she seems to have found it, she smiles to herself and pressing the play button before shd shoves her phone back into her pocket.

I eye Lisa with surprise. Without wasting a single minute, she wraps her hands slowly around my waist and brings me closer.

My heart was beating fast like it could've explode.

The song is all at a melancholy tone, set by only the use of a piano.

A drop in the ocean

A change in the weather

I was praying that you and me might end up together

It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert

But I'm holding you closer than most 'cause you are my heaven...

Lisa looks at me like she was telling me every lyrics from the song.

I don't wanna waste the weekend

If you don't love me pretend

A few more hours then it's time to go

And as my train rolls down the east coast

I wonder how you keep warm

It's too late to cry

Too broken to move on

I tighten my hands feeling the emotions under the song.

And still I can't let you be

Most nights I hardly sleep

Don't take what you don't need from me

Lisa looks at me it's as if its an essence of her emotions linger within each and every word while our body sways in motion.

It's just a drop in the ocean

A change in the weather

I feel like im in cloud nine. My heart was madly beating, my eyes were already in the verge if crying, not because im sad, but because of overflowing emotions, its feels like a dream in reality. And it hurts. It hurts when im reminded that it was all just in my imagination.

My tears drops as i stare at Lisa's eyes. I smile at her while my emotions flows.

"You are my heaven. . . ." Lisa sing along in whisper. The song was on repeat and i don't know how many times it plays. Her eyes were getting teary.

As soon as i see a tear escape her eyes, i pull her close and hug her tight. The music stills play on my ear and its seems every thing was meant for this moment.

I cry on her chest while i felt her constantly kissing the top of my head.

I've never felt this happy before and I wish i could just live in this dream forever.

When the song almost finished, she push me a little just enough for our eyes to meet.

"All I ever want is for us to be together Jennie. And if possible ..." she trail off , focusing her attention towards our feet that touches the water.

"...forever".  She slowly look up to meet my eyes and without wasting a single second , she captures my lips , pulling into a kiss.

I can't resist her anymore , hell, I never could.

I place my hands around her neck and begin kissing her back. She pulls me even more tightly , deepening the kiss while her hand caresses my cheek gently.

My tears flows nonstop wishing everything was real. Wishing Lisa was real and everything we shared.

"I love you Lisa."
